Hi!

I had two Firefox windows open at the same time, one with a lot of tabs open in it, and one with only a few open. I was going to close firefox in order to restart the computer, and closed the window with many tabs in it first, and then I closed the window with only a few tabs in it. The next time I started Firefox, only the window with a few tabs in it loaded, and not the other window in which I had the vast majority of all opened tabs. And I can't find any way to restore the tabs from the other window either. I have looked under the History menu, but I don't see any option to restore a previous session there, so I'm guessing that Firefox thinks that it already has restored the previous session when I opened it up again.

So, how can I restore the tabs I had in the other window, with a lot of tabs opened?

On all of the Pages at this site there are Advertisement banners, one across the top of the page, and one down the left side of the page.

Clicking in those Banners used to open the respective advertisers Site. I can't remember now whether it opened in a new Window or a new Tab.

Recently, and possibly since one of the latest Firefox updates, these Advertising Banner Links have stopped working, and nothing at all happens if they are "clicked".

They DO work if I right click and select "Open link in new tab", or "Open link in new window"

They DO work when clicked if I open the Page in Google Chrome.

I have followed advice from previous similar reported problems, without success.

I don't have any Extensions enabled, and am running the Default Theme. I have cleared the cache and Cookies.

Any ideas ?

Using Windows 10 OS Firefox 95.0.2 (64bit) - default browser. Since update to 95.0.2, everytime I want to use the Firefox or Thunderbird Support forum, I'm asked to login before I can respond to any questions. I am a regular helper on the Thunderbird Support Forum. So this is driving me potty :) This can occur if I exit Firefox or awake from sleep mode or at random times whilst I'm using Firefox with Thunderbird Support in a Tab and I may be using Bugzilla.

Note: I'm not using two step.

Menu app icon > select email address > Firefox Account When I select it auto uses the 'Synchronise now' It continually shows 'Logout' - I never need to Login.

I noticed my settings had been altered when Firefox updated. I have reset the about:preferences#privacy Selecting 'Use Custom Settings' 'private browsing mode' is NOT selected. 'remember browsing and download history' is selected. 'remember search and form history' is selected 'clear history when firefox closes' is NOT selected.

My history is looking ok.

I would appreciate some pointers to discover why I'm being logged out of this Support Forum. I want to stay logged on to account.

in my mailto emails my my main email has a bad url in the application details. Click on my email and it shows the wrong link and won't let me edit it. The right url is https://wowway.net. Any Ideas? Tom Szaller

In certain situations (my specific case a web application which uses css to size out elements on the page), print preview does not show the Portrait/ Landscape buttons. On loading of the print preview plane - for a very brief moment I see the buttons but as soon as the page is rendered, the buttons disappear and I am unable to print in landscape mode.

I am not sure which version of FF introduced this problem but version 92 and backwards are ok.

It would be incredibly helpful to have a solution as up to now the best print support was in Firefox (not Chrome ) and I have to downgrade FF to get proper print support

I go to yahoo.com and look at articles on that web site. When I click on the article I see a grey box with no content. I have turned off hardware acceleration. I have no add ons except roboform which I use for storing passwords. I have removed all cookies and temp files using CCleaner. Yahoo.com works with no alterations in Chrome and Edge. I like Firefox but do not understand why default settings do not work with Yahoo.com. I am using version 95.0 64bit on a Win 11 machine.

AOP is the extension that "fixes" the issue.

Sometimes a site won't open at all, WFUV. Some sites won't auto log-in. Citi & NY Times.

Safari has no issue with any.

I have searched for this problem, and only come across outdated information about Youtube's intentional changes to slowdown Edge and Firefox in 2019. This is not that.

When I load a new youtube video, the video will buffer as normal, and then buffering stops. Then there is a delay of about 10 seconds. You can see from my screenshot that the buffer is filled just fine, and playback begins about 10 seconds later. This also happens if I skip ahead/back or to any position in the video. This firefox install is on a new install of Windows 11, with a new xps 13. The previous xps 13 with windows 11 didn't have this problem, and I don't have this problem on my desktop setup with windows 10.

I use a few addons: decentraleyes, ublock, duckduckgo and I have privacy protections set to strict. I have tried a few troubleshooting steps and the problem persists. Things I have tried:

• safe-mode
• fresh install
• installed additional codecs
• used user-agent workarounds to show as a chromium based browser
• turned off hardware acceleration

The problem doesn't happen on chrome, but it does happen on Edge, which is strange. Because of this, I'm wondering if there is something going on with codecs. In the firefox screenshot posted, the codec used is vp09, same with Edge. But in Chrome the codec is av01.

I play 2 games. After reaching a certain level, it is nice to begin where I left off. It used to save on v 88.1 Now I have to start over every time. Except once. It is not worth the effort anymore.

Added as exceptions, so I don't delete them when I clear cache and cookies. That is the way I used to do them.

Hey All,

I'm having an issue where the text in a table, which is supposed to remain within the borders of a given cell, is spilling outside of the cell. It's making the text from different cells bleed into other cells, and makes it very tough to read from said table. I have attached an image to better illustrate when I'm describing. I have attempted to play with some of the text settings, but it didn't seem to make a difference. Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_OCSP_RESPONSE_FOR_CERT_MISSING when browsing to https://docs.microsoft.com. It just started today out of the blue. Never seen this before. It was working two days ago.

All other browsers work fine.

Firefox has recently begun placing shortcuts of itself on my desktop. I have to log out, and log back on as an administrator to remove them. Then I have to log out, and log back in again. Anyway, this is an intolerable nuisance. I want it to STOP. If it continues for much longer, I will go to Chrome.

Firefox will start once (maybe) and then it makes no difference where I click from (tray, programs, desktop shortcut) Firefox refuses to boot up. I've tried re-installing multiple times. If I reboot, it will start. Also sometimes I will get a New tab but the page/URL never comes up. Firefox just hangs. I'm running Windows 11.

I use Firefox as my main browser but, in Gmail it always defaults to English US although I change it to English UK. I use this because of spell check in Australian English I have checked Gmail settings and Google settings. All are English UK. If I use Chrome, I always get English UK when I open Gmail.com. Why can't I change to UK in Gmail when using Firefox?

I have ongoing Adblock Plus and Ghostery, but since the latest update to Firefox 95, I have seen a significant increase in the numbers of Ads on internet news sites (TheGatewayPundit.com, ZeroHedge.com, etc.). I've have also experienced for the first time, a request to sign up in order to continue to view something (Fox News; Political Cartoons). Is this a result of the Firefox update or have the advertisements managed to overcome Ad blocking software? Is there a fix that you can suggest? Thank you for taking the time to read and respond. There is this one website where scrolling with keyboard keys (arrows or PgUp/PgDown) works intermittently. Sometimes it works when I load the page and then it stops (usually when I switch to another tab and then return to it), sometimes it doesn't work from the start. I went through the usual diagnostics (safe mode, new profile etc.) and even though sometimes they seemed to help at the beginning, the problem always returned. I kind of gave up on it, since the time consumed by me trying to find a solution is disproportionate to the minor annoyance it causes, but it still mystifies me. FWIW, it's a blog with a very long Disqus comment section (the latest post has nearly 1,500 comments). Maybe the problem has a very simple solution which I've just failed to find?

I recently updated the SSL certificate for my business. My Firefox browser indicates the certificate is "not secure." When I navigate to my website using Bing, the SSL certificate shows as being "secure." I'd like the SSL certificate to indicate it is secure using Firefox browsers. Is there something I can do so that when someone lands on my website using Firefox it will correctly show that it is a "secure" site?
