Dear FireFox, I am writing this E-mail to address a critical issue. So i wanted to set up a password for my firefox browser so that only I can access it. i set a primary password, and it asks me to enter the password when i open my browser. However, when the message appears asking me to enter the password, you can just click "cancel" option or press 'x' it ignores the password and lets me in the browser, essentially rendering the purpose of the password useless. thus anyone can access my browser. i request you to fix this problem. David, here are two screen shots (ss) to clarify my issue with email and a third regarding another issue (see below).

Number one ss shows what I see when I go to Thunderbird. I am allowed to delete if I wish by first marking the email and then clicking delete. If, however, I wish to view the message, Number two ss appears. I cannot delete the message without going back to Number one ss as that option has now disappeared. This was no problem on my old computer.

The other issue is related to the above. I have over 250 emails without being able to access them (see Number three ss). On the left upper side is the number of emails I have, but only six old emails appear, something that is confirmed in the upper right frame. No matter what I do, I cannot access them.

Every time I use YouTube on Firefox it feels like a mental torture. It starts off with micro-stutters initially - annoying but nothing crazy. After some time the loading speed of the website and the videos themselves increase dramatically. And eventually it becomes unusable:

• Scrolling feels like the website is running at 30 fps
• The videos take several seconds to load
• It also takes multiple seconds to catch up when you select a specific moment of the video

The only solution so far has been restarting Firefox entirely, just close and open and pray. Then the problem comes back after some time.

Solutions I Tried:

• Disabling AdBlock (didn't work)
• Enabling Hardware Acceleration at all time (didn't work)
• Uninstalling unwanted Extenstions (didn't work)

All of these problems disappear when using Chrome or Edge.

On Opera and Chrome, I am logged in as a google user. I make a diary available from a web page which is limited as to how the viewer sees it. If I (or another authorised user) is viewing it then they see all the detail. If anyone else sees it then they only see 'busy' against all the bookings. This has worked fine for years.

On changing to Firefox, though, when the web diary is accessed - even though I am logged in properly - it only shows the 'busy' view. It seems as if it's not maintaining my google login, hence showing the 'incorrect' view.

Is there anything that I can change to make this work properly?

OK - I must be missing something. On my previous browser, Opera, if I wanted to see details of my passwords then I needed to put in the computer password, so keeping them quite secure. However, Firefox seems to let anyone using the browser to access the full details of all my passwords, even offering to copy them! This has to be the most insecure approach possible - surely this can't be correct, can it?

Why am I getting the message below every time I try to go on the The Great Courses website? The Great Courses Customer Service Dept it is Firefox that is blocking me from accessing their website. Please tell me how to correct the problem.

Good morning, Our company's firefox add-on(Saba Security Plugin) has stopped working, please let me know what happened.

When a new client (version 126) downloads the add-on, the following message is displayed: "The add-on downloaded from this site cannot be installed because it appears corrupt."

If you install an older version, it works without any problems, what is the reason?

I can't connect to Amazon.com. I keep getting the following error message:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.amazon.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

I think this is a problem with Firefox. Any suggestions or should I switch to a new web browser?

I want to insert my new IMAP or Pop email box into Outlook. I was already told that this email box@ sophie.johnson@proofreadereditorwriter already exists. I could not get it to show. So I deleted it, and I want to start afresh to install it.

One of the typical configuration in linux is to turn off the user namespaces and/or network namespaces. This is because most of the exploits in linux have been related to namespaces vulnerabilities.

If there is a Firefox ver 127.0.2, running on Linux in which the user namespace is turned off then the following is observed in the Troubleshooting information, i.e. about:support Seccomp-BPF (System Call Filtering) true Seccomp Thread Synchronisation true User Namespaces for privileged processes true User Namespaces false Content Process Sandboxing true Media Plugin Sandboxing true

So how come with the username turned off, the content process and media plugin is still sandboxed? Also is having user namespace turned off, as given above, a security risk?

However if the network namespace is turned off, i.e. max_net_namespaces is set to zero, then it renders the browser unusable. Nothing works. Why is that?

Is there some documentation somewhere where these namespaces and their impact is explained in detail?

I am hoping that there is a way in which I can organise (permanently, not just the current display) my bookmarks alphabetically though still separated by folders and bookmarks. In case that isn't clear, the order would be:

1. 1 all of the folders grouped together in alphabetical order, then
2. 2 all the bookmarks grouped together in alphabetical order.

Hello, My website www.bodymindwholeness.com will not loan on Mozilla browser for over 6 months now. My website loads just fine on all other browsers, just not Mozilla? I have tried to adjust every setting I can imagine with no luck. Why wont Mozilla allow my website to load and what can I do to fix the issue? Thank you Michael Hofrath

The address wasn’t understood Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (javascript) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context. You might need to install other software to open this address.
