Noticed yesterday but not as prominent, firefox suddenly steals all window focus, trying to do anything in any other window is pushed into firefox no matter if it is minimised or in another workspace. I have tested this in a clean install along with a clean profile. Bitwarden and other windows seem to act weird when they are interacted with.

This all works well and good on b8 and stable. I am using wayland (Ubuntu 22.* default), but xwayland is available.

I will be to-the-point: Firefox 109.0 has forced the "extensions" icon (a puzzle piece) on my Bookmarks toolbar.

(1) I do not wish for it to appear there (2) I am not given the possibility to remove it from the "Customise toolbar" screen

Please assist.

I love Firefox but it has a market share of just around 7% and is even lower than Edge (which is terrible IMO). Chrome has the most users at around 65%.

Although Firefox is a much better browser, the perception for many is that Chrome is better due to much faster browser loading. I have Chrome and Firefox installed on Windows 11 with the same extensions and Chrome loads my home page in 2 sec whereas Firefox takes 7 sec to load. Even after deleting all cookies, cache and web history, Firefox still takes 7 sec to load my home page.

It's great to prioritize security, flexibility etc and I love these aspects of Firefox, but by not doing something to improve the awful loading times, you are leaving users with the impression that Firefox is inferior and LOSING the browser battle.

So I just updated to version 109.0 of Firefox, and I spotted something new in the thing. I see something called 'extensions' right next to the icon for open applications menu. I tried to drag this into the list of things you could hide in the customize toolbar section and there seems to be no way to remove it via right click either. Can someone help here?

Where is FireFox Colorways in new version 109? Those --Balanced-- Themes Are Not Available In themes search!!!! For example i want Colorways Innovator -> Balanced Where can i download it?

The WidevineCDM plugin crashes on all streaming services that use it.

I've tried disabling/enabling the plugin, uninstalling my extensions, clearing my cache, refreshing and reinstalling firefox as suggested by other threads I've seen. So far nothing has worked.

Firefox always uses excessive GPU memory when I watch video and livestream. about:memory shows that the explict GPU memory allocation is only about 200 MB but in the task manager the GPU memory usage is 1GB, and the latter doesn't decrease even if I close the tab. Firefox applied an update and now there is a puzzle piece icon on my toolbar for extensions at the top right. I have tried to edit my toolbar but that icon can't be moved, removed, or hidden and it's where my bookmarks icon usually is which is messing with my work flow a lot. I work very fast and have years of muscle memory of clicking the first icon at the top right to open bookmarks and now I keep opening extensions.

Hello, the menu bar has an error. Before the update, I could move all addons to the overhang menu (Überhangmenü). With the new update, an additional symbol is forcibly inserted, which I cannot remove. I would like to move the AddOns back to the overhang menu.

The AddON icons are now way too big and in general I want to remove the AddON icon. Can someone help?

Lately firefox have been buggy and have closed all my tabs, or so I tought, but after using task manager I see it's up an running, but if I just use the firefox button a new windows open, but if I right-click and tells it to open av often used site, it pops up with all my saved tabs. I've tried using the exit button in the menu, but it makes no difference.

I've tried fixing it a few times via the installer, havent uninstalled it yet as I have to be in the office to do a complete re-install.

But the funny thing after the lastest update is that is I open firefox, my teams app go down, and if I open teams, Firefox goes down... I've tried using safe mode in firefox, but it made no difference.

Firefox 109.0 for macOS introduced an intentional bug that disables the popular highly useful zoom in/out using cmd+mouse wheel. Mozilla claims that this engineered bug "avoids accidental zooming and matches the behavior of other web browsers on macOS." However, it causes severe trouble for productivity users and the large user community who use a mouse and keyboard.

Could you please let me know how the highly popular and practical zoom in/out using cmd+mouse wheel could be re-enabled in Firefox 109.0?

Also, I would like to ask Mozilla to respect user decisions and let them choose whether they prefer to disable Ctrl or Cmd + trackpad or mouse wheel (scrolls the page instead of zooming) or use it.

I couldn't get into Coinbase today. And now I can't get into Ebay and others through the browser.

I called Coinbase and they said I was the fifth person to call that uses Firefox.

So. I guess I just wanted to tell someone!

About a month ago Firefox had disabled all of my add-ons, as well as broken all of the icons for my bookmarks. I later learned that this problem had also completely cleared my browser history. I saw that the computer had reset my places.sqlite file, and that I had a new "places.sqlite.corrupt" file. I tried renaming that corrupted file to get back my old history, as well as refreshing Firefox, but neither of these strategies seemed to have worked. Does anyone have a way of restoring my data from my old places.sqlite file? Thanks!

I am trying to block out the new little "stick marks" that post while I try to log on to a site that that I need to "google" and log on to. I tried to sign out of all the "outside sites" that want to log on, but there are sites that I need to log on to and have done this in the past. I usually go to these sites because they are important to my transacting business, accessing my bank, places I pay my bills, etc. If I want to get to these and order or pay a bill, I have to unblock each one of them??? How do I do that? If a credit company wants to contact me, they cannot do this even if we have contacted each other previously? Really?

How do I undo this already-marked system and get out of it? As you can guess, I am old and not up with the times. Please simplify your answers so a not-technical person can understand it.

I installed TotalAV webshield & now firefox won't open full screen. I disable webshield, Firefox opens full screen. BUT I use webshield on chrome with NO ISSUES. I contacted TotalAV, and they said the issue is with Firefox. So...why is Firefox having an issue opening fullscreen when I enable webshield?

hi, i see a new addon in my bookmarks bar- extensions , on the right above... its not possible to drag it down to customize toolbar .i can drag /up and down/other itmes buy why not this one? pls fix it...
