I cannot figure out how to export my bookmarks from Mozilla Account. On the desktop browser when I open "Manage Bookmarks" and select Phil's Bookmarks, I am able to export the bookmarks from the Mozilla account.

The resulting html export file does not contain the bookmarks from Mozilla Account. There also does not seem to be a way to export those bookmarks from your online Mozilla Account interface.

How do I export the bookmarks from my Mozilla Account?

The computers bookmarks after September 28 and before December 1 2023 are missing as well as the internet history in the mozilla browser only. I see no possible way of restoring them. I see no way to contact mozilla directly about this either.

I'm using a new PC with Windows 11 and find that I, inadvertently close Firefox with 16-20 open tabs. Most of the time when I reopen FF, the tabs are still there, as expected. Sometimes, the browser opens with just a new home page and the pinned and other tabs have closed. I can sometimes see the 16ish tabs in history and reopen them. More recently, I find that they are not in history as a number of tabs so I have to set them up again. This rarely happened on my old PC and if it did I would have bookmarked a group of open tabs that I used regularly.

The failsafe FF General setting is as follows: Startup, Open previous windows and tabs.

I don't know how I can stop losing my open Tabs but if I was able to bookmark all the open tabs to be used in case of a problem I would feel more secure.

How do I bookmark ALL or several my open tabs?

I had to totally rebuild my system from the bottom up. I had a copy of my old profile stored in the cloud, so I figured I was OK. When, I copied the files from the saved profile to my new profile, everything came over except my bookmarks. I copied the places.squlite and favicons.squlite files (which I understood to contain my bookmarks) separately and pasted them separately into the new profile, but to no avail. I used to keep a separate backup of my bookmarks, but when I learned that the bookmarks were kept in the profile, I stopped. How far up the creek have I gotten myself stuck, and is there a way to restore my bookmarks?

Hi, I just created a bunch of folders for my long list of bookmarks. However, when I click on Bookmarks all I see is the same long, unorganized list instead of those folders. How can I rectify this?

I have a PC operating on Win 11. just recently upgraded to the latest version of Firefox and can't find my bookmarks. not finding the help areas very helpful. how do I get them back and installed on left side of screen as I did in old version?

Hi My computer crashed today and it had to be it reformatted. I have updated the computer but i want to update my bookmarks. How do i access / restore my booksmarks from yesterday? At the moment I cannot see any of my old bookmarks all i have is the bookmarks that come with when you install firefox.

I am logged into firefox but i cannot see my old search history or find any of my old bookmarked folders.

Please help me, I thought firefox was looking after my bookmarks when i was logging in.

After running Import and Backup and selecting the date I want, the left column in the Library shows History, Downloads, Tags, and All Bookmarks. Under All Bookmarks, those folders have all the stuff I want in my Firefox browser. Currently my browser shows the folder names, but the folders are empty. How do I get the left column into my browser?

I started Firefox and left the room. When I returned it asked me if I wanted to "Refresh" Firefox. I said yes. Now I have lost my bookmarks, history, etc. I have a profile from a backup. But learned I can't just move it into "Profiles" directory.' I've tried removing/reinstalling Firefox, etc. etc. As it is now, I have a Firefox that tries to start, but says "your profile can't be loaded." How do I reinstall my backups and history, etc.? I have RTFM, but it just dug me in deeper.

I just built a new computer with all new parts and Windows 11. The old one is disassembled. I realized afterwards that I had forgotten to save the bookmarks and passwords into the formats that make importing easy. So I have the original hard drive where Firefox was located on (with Windows 10). Is there a way to copy/paste/import any folders and/or files from the original hard drive to the one on the new computer to transfer the bookmarks and/or passwords?

Transferred everything to a new computer (Windows 11). All my bookmarks transferred just fine but the little logos are all gone and every bookmark has only the little "globe" logo. How can I get back all the individual logos? Thanks, Len

I have noticed 3 new bookmarks I never added for 2 websites I've visited recently show up in my bookmarks bar.

I did a scan with Avast One (free version) and it says no viruses or malware found

Any thoughts on what's adding the 3 bookmarks?

I've used Firefox forever, have a lot of bookmarks, when searching bookmarks max 9 results display. Usually can finally find by adding search criteria, but getting hard to find. Is there a way to return more results in a search keywords than 9? Cannot find an option to to that. Thanks.

Microsoft have recovered my data, which is bookmarks etc from an action performed by a Microsoft engineer, who inadvertently wiped my laptop. The file isn't readable to Microsoft, but it contains all my Firefox bookmarks etc. Would be nice to have all my bookmarks back.

Is there a Mozilla support desk I can send this file so it can be 'translated' into a readable file? Thanks

fire fox usually has one row of frequently visited /fav web sites come up on the home page, but it has stopped doing this and even when i try and add them manually it wont accept them, the same when i try and boo marl a web page

Could you please educate me on how I may change the default view of my bookmarks. I feel like it did not used to default to the "other bookmarks" in the "Manage Bookmarks" library window (ctrl+shift+o). I find it a bit annoying that it defaults all the way to the very last folder in my whole library. How to fix this? I tried to delete this folder but that is not possible. I do not need to delete, I just want for my view to default to either the very top, or possibly to remember its last accessed folder/location. Is this possible?

they disappeared one day and have not returned. Finally uninstalled fir fox and nothing came back the new homepage and bookmark arrangement is inadequate. How do I get the old one back?

Ever since the automatic update to Firefox 120 my multi-row bookmarks are not working properly. The slightest movement of a bookmark on the first row will instantly flip it down to the end of the 2nd row, and freeze all the bookmarks. I have to restart Firefox is Safe Mode to move the bookmark back where it belongs. If I drag in a new bookmark the two bookmark rows also freeze. Plus they freeze if a bookmark gets slightly jiggled but stays in place. Again, I'll have to restart in safe mode to put things back in order.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

After update this week, my bookmarks are gone. Seems like firefox itself made an "old firefox data" binder on my desktop. It has a file called "old bookmarks". But i cant import it. Its not an HTML file. How do i import it?

And why should it be so troublesome after an update i didnt ask for?
