Hi, everyone. My multirow bookmarks no longer seem to work since my latest update to 107.0 (64 bit). My computer crashed and when it came back up Firefox no longer worked. I reinstalled it and have a bit of cleanup to do, but everything works now except my faithful (up-to-now) multirow toolbar. Here's the code in my userChrome.css file.

/* Multi-Row Bookmarks Toolbar */

  1. PersonalToolbar {
 /* Override max-height */
 min-height: unset !important;
 max-height: unset !important; */

}

  1. PlacesToolbar > hbox:first-child {
   display: block

}

  1. PlacesToolbarItems {
   display: flex;
   flex-wrap: wrap

}

Previously, this was in my profile folder. If I move this out of the profile folder, my browser works fine but there is no multi-row toolbar. If I put it back into the profile folder, I have a multi-row toolbar, but no contentd in the main window.

I am perplexed. Help? --elizabeth

Hey there,

Intro: I recently switched to Linux and (because Brave is so broken) also to Firefox and I am liking it so far.

Problem: Unfortunately I can't copy-paste files from Ubuntu Files (Nautilus) to Firefox (I tested image files and also sounds files, neither is working).

Test with Firefox: 1. Download a random photo (e.g. from Unsplash) 2. Select the file and hit ctrl + c in Files/Nautilus 3. I go to the clipboard inspector 4. I hit ctrl + v 5. The image does not show up in the output (see screenshot)

Test with Brave: 1. Do the same as above 2. The image does show up in the output (see screenshot)

Notes: - I am using Linux Ubuntu 22.04 with Wayland - Firefox Version 107.0 (64-bit) for Ubuntu Canonical - 1.0 - I have no extensions installed - I am not using the snap version (so I can scroll smoothly) ... I think I used apt-get install but not 100% sure

Hi,

Since about 2 weeks ago everytime I run Firefox a process with the name 'Hello World' runs as well.

The text in the command line window reads: "This process runs at the full privileges of the user and has access to the entire public desktop API surface

Press any key to exit ... 15:16:48.6322622 (a)ThreadProc Start!! Connection established - waiting for requests"

Does anyone know what this is? I tried searching the net, but I could not find anything useful

I have tried a clean reinstall of Ffox and after running it for the first time, without signing in or installing any add-ons, the same process opened with it.

Thanks,

Mitch.

Hello.

It seems I get a problem or two almost always with a new update lately. I have been using an userChrome.css to reduce the width of sidebar but the latest version 107.0 now ignores it and have a wide width even at the narrowest. Mine currently is set as, "#sidebar {min-width:30px !important; max-width:none !important;}" This no longer works. Your support much appreciated.

Is there a way to remove recent bookmarks from the "hamburger menu" (says "Open Application Menu" on hovering)? The bookmarks there seem to only show the most recent bookmarks added and there's no way to organize those or delete them without also deleting the bookmarks from the main bookmarks menu, which can be organized. There should be a way to not show bookmarks that are private bookmarks just because they've recently been added. I couldn't find an answer to this anywhere in support -- though I might not have been searching the right terms. Any and all help would be much appreciated. (Also, apologies if I put this in the wrong category. Wasn't sure what to use.) Thanks!

After upgrading to version 107, there is a huge space between the open tabs and the address bar. Can't figure out how to remove it. I am thinking it has something to do with the fact that I had enabled multi-row tabs. I can fill up that space with tabs if I open enough of them. In the older version that space was not there and the space would just expand to accommodate the extra row of tabs as needed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi

Trying to make sync work the way I want. Initial question:

I've synced tabs between Windows desktop and Android. Now I would like to bookmark all those tabs in the desktop browser, without opening them first. I've found out how to view them in the side bar, but I see no option to bookmark all tabs.

It would be nice to have synced Tabs in the Library window and Options panel.

FireFox: 107.0 (64 bit) Mozilla FireFox for Linux Mint OS: Linux Mint 21 Cinnamon

Issue: On this FireFox latest version, the download window cannot be resized to smaller than (roughly) 1/4 of entire screen. (screen-shot attached.)

Attempted: Mouse left-click grab of all corners & sides to drag window smaller - failed!

Note: Download window can be resized *bigger*, showing this window has now been coded with a very large minimum size that is almost 1/4 of full screen

- this was not the case in previous versions.

Micro-annoyances add up, people switch to Chrome (sorry to use the "C" word!)

OneDrive web (onedrive.live.com) doesn't show any files/folders. The area where the files/folders should be displayed is just empty. Now the reason I believe this might be a Firefox issue is because I don't have that problem when I use OneDrive on a Private window. OneDrive on a Private window works just fine, the issue is on the regular non-private window where I wan't my session to stay open.

I already tried clearing 'everything' including cookies, site settings and offline website data. I checked all the boxes and the issue persist.

See attached screenshot.

Thanks!

Firefox 107 userchrome behavior change --tab-lines

Prior to the last update, Firefox was auto resizing my tab background area (I don't know the technical name of this, but its the menu area behind the tabs) to fit more tabs as I opened them, up to a certain number of open tabs. Now the tab background area remains at its full size from the start even if I have only 1 tab open. I prefer the old behavior and I'm not sure what userchrome setting I need to adjust in order to get back to it. The line that is causing the issue is as follows

  1. main-window {
 /*--tab-min-height: unset !important; */
 --tab-min-height: 38px;
 --tabs-lines: 8;     /* THIS LINE CAUSES THE PROBLEM */
 --tab_min_width_mlt: 186px;
 --tab_max_width_mlt: 186px;
 --tab-min-height_mlt: 38px;

}

I can reduce it to a lower number but when I do that I am stuck with the tab scrolling behavior that I don't want. Perhaps there is a setting to auto resize the tab area that I'm unaware of. I would appreciate any assistance. Thanks.

I am using Moziall Firefox 64-bit with version 107.0 on Windows 10 21H2. I always like to scroll web pages with the mouse scroll wheel by clicking the mouse wheel and then moving the mouse up and down. I think you know this function. Normally a small circle with an up and down arrow appears, but not anymore. In other programs like Outlook, Word or Edge it still works.

For troubleshooting I have already deactivated all addons and started Firefox in safe mode. Unfortunately, everything has brought nothing.

I suspect that my bank tried to show a verification pop-up while I was on a third-party site, and because pop-ups were disabled the third party rejected my request. My question is:

How much of my bank's website address do I need to put in the "Allowed Web Sites - Pop-ups" edit box, seeing as I wasn't on that website at the time. Would "https://name-of-bank.com" be sufficient? Or, are wildcards allowed in the URL?

Hello,

Ever since upgrading to Firefox 107.0, I'm denied access to select website, some of which are corporate websites such as Nokia and others. The latest occurrence had the following reference no#:

Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.nokia.com/phones/support" on this server.

Reference #18.9cf7df17.1669164130.8b3c1e51

If I employ other browsers like Safari or Brave, I'm able to successfully access both this page and others which are restricted on Firefox. So, what might be causing this to happen? Firefox is my preferred browser, therefore I'd like to find a fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The minimum size of the Library panel has been getting larger and larger. It can no longer be resized so that it can be fully visible on the desktop when other windows are open to 1:1 size. The issue first started nine months ago. It was troublesome then, forcing me to use extra hand motions and mouse clicks just to get a fraction of a seconds worth of information.

In other words, Firefox has made it more difficult to retrieve important information that used to be available at a glance. I have determined that Firefox has rewritten their programming to intentionally do this to us. WHY?

Please make the Library Panel box fully resizable again. It is becoming a make or break issue for me. Stop tinkering around. You had perfection, now it is ruined. I do not want the window buried, partially obscured, or on top of any other window. It should have equal rights with other fully resizable elements.

My problem is a new issue with Firefox and CenturyLink. I tried chatting with Century Link and they keep referring me to Firefox so here is the issue. In October I was able to log in to Century Link and view/download my current bill. This month when I try to view the bill all I get is a grey screen and no data. I have been forced to use Microsoft Edge which DOES allow me to view/download the bill. Also, the Chat feature on Century Link via Firefox does not work. It does work in Microsoft Edge. Something in Firefox changed in the past month and I haven't a clue what it is.
