Thank you for your assistance in advance. Since I updated my browser, I've encountered some issues when trying to maximize the virtual screen in my tv. I use a Mac and connect the screen to a web TV to watch YouTube in my big tv. However, when I click to maximize the window, the connection becomes unstable, and the virtual screen disappears every time I click the YouTube icon to do this. This problem never occurred before. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Please let me know if you require any additional information from me.

Hello. In the last few days when I visit my Shopify website, the pricing on my products is not visible. This is only for me, nobody else has this issue. I do not have this issue on Safari, or on Firefox when I open a private browsing window. It is something to do with Firefox, but I don't want to have to open a private window every time I go to my store. Is there a solution? This has only been happening for the last few days. Thanks

I noticed that the snap version of Firefox had a lag issue when typing into input field. For example, when composing an email and wanting to use backspace to quickly delete a misspelled word, then backspace works slowly, stuttering and jittering. If I hold down a key in the input field it also lays the character down in a stuttery, slow way.

I tried reinstalling the system and that solved the issue. But it has returned again. Maybe it was an update. I also installed WINE and waybridge to get some windows plugins to work on my DAW. I don't know if that has affected it.

I also tried removing the snap version and installing firefox using the terminal but the problem persisted.

It's an annoying problem. Any advice appreciated.

Just recently Firefox seems to have its downloads capped at 15-16 meg speedtests show the full 1Gig speed OPERA AND EDGE both download at the full 999 megs but firefox has recently stopped downloading any faster then 19 meg

what in firefox could be causing this its not happening in any other browser.

Everything is gone….bookmarks, passwords, history on my desktop computer and I have no idea why. I opened Firefox and the home page was different and then noticed nothing was the same. I dl Firefox again, no help, same result. I do have my desktop synced to my iPad and laptop but I’m concerned they will import from the desktop and get wiped out. Is there a way to sync from the laptop to the desktop? I am at a complete loss on how to fix this. I do run a backup on this computer. Would that help? Restore point?

I am watching a Twitch video on Firefox. When I open a new Firefox tab and drag it to another monitor, the Twitch video skips forwards about a minute.

I also occasionally notice skips or pauses when I switch from one tab in the same window back to the Twitch playing tab.

Is there any way I could fix these problems?

I realized since I upgraded my MacMini to 14.4.1 I can no longer 'post' into any of the yard sale/garage sale sites I am on, not even MarketPlace. All I get after a long wait is a 'technical problem' notice. Am I doing something wrong?

Can you recommend some kind of extension thet will only check current icons for the bookmarks? Just that. I don't need duplicate bookmarks checker, inactice checker and God knows what else checker. Just icons, that's good enough for me.

Hello, I'm using samsung odyssey g7 32' monitor connected to my laptop with a rtx 2060. The monitor is connected with a minidisplay port to display port cable. The problem doesn't occur on the laptop screen but it does on the samsung screen. The flickering stops when i make the window a little smaller. I am using KDE plasma 6.0.3 but the problem was also present when i was using Hyprland as my desktop enviroment. I tried troubleshoot mode but nothing changed. I am seeking help. Thanks.

Hello! I synced my browsing data yesterday by signing in to firefox account and reset my OS(window 10) to improve my laptop's speed. When I am trying to get back my browsing data back after resetting and installing firefox by signing in to my firefox account and pressing the Sync Now button then its not giving me my browsing data back. I need your help because i can't find solution to problem. On my macbooks air m1 i experience a very annoying thing: Often while i'm scrolling on websites smooth scroll animation get choppy/sluggish for few moments and lagging. It's like animation is FPS dropping during the scroll. I tried lot of things on both device:

- tried without extensions - created new profiles - use without syncing data - disabling hardware acceleration (gets worst) - disable smooth scroll in settings (get worst) - completely remove firefox with AppCleaner and reinstall it - Reinstall macOS and just install firefox alone. I tried latest Ventura and Sonoma

I don't have clue why this happening but ruin user experience very bad. With Safari everything is fine and smooth. On my wife's device (macbook air m3) have same issue.

Do you have any idea how can i fix it?

When I download PDFs on my MacBook using Firefox (currently 124.0.2 (64-bit)), they are always blank - I have attached a screen shot.

But if I download the same PDF using Safari, it opens straightaway - 2nd screen shot.

Is there something I need to adjust in Firefox to allow PDFs to open?

Hello. I have a pretty big sprite image i am trying to display on my web page but mozzila wont display it. The sprite is 78016px by 1000px and im cropping it to be 736px by 1000px. Sprite is made out of a png sequence that was made in 3d software, now the thing is when i put in the non rendered verson of images(3D viewport colors) which windows labels as 8bit (maybe because of less colors) it gets displayed, but when i put the rendered version which windows labels as 32bit image it wont get displayed on Mozilla. It gets displayed on Chrome and Edge without any problems. The only difference beetween the images is that the rendered version has a transparent background behind the subject...they are the same sized sprite. I will drop the first frames of the sprite in the images section so you can get a better idea. Also all of the code and images is stored locally.

Some websites still managed to smuggle in popups despite all the blockings. I use as add-ons: privacy badger, no-script, ublock origin and recently tried popup blocker (strict) and even have the 'block pop-up windows' enabled. I also tried to fiddle around in ´about:config´ but nothing helps. I think it's a recent occurrence as I don't remember having this problem, let's say, a couple of months ago.

The funny thing is that this problem doesn't occur in opera-browser (in which I hardly use extensions).

The websites that this occurs are: arabicpost.net (a pop-up will occur about 10 sec after right-clicking a new tab). focus.de (a video pop-up will occur if there's a video in it). Again opera-browser blocks all of this. I expect there will be other websites to add in the future.
