What are the step-to-step instructions in order to use Free VPN? (see attached image) I did a query on the web and it came back stating that Firefox VPN was not free. I am confused. Thank you for your prompt assistance.

I now do have the VPN button on my toolbar but when I click on "Turn On VPN" nothing happens. I am logged in in my Firefox profile through the VPN settings under Privacy and Security.

I am on Mac OS 15.7.7, Firefox 151.0.1.

Why am I not able to turn on the VPN?

I understand that VPN was progressive roll out, but I have been able to successfully use it for the last two months. Today I upgraded to version 151.0.4 and the VPN icon was no longer up in the toolbar. I thought maybe I did something wrong and went back to customize and put it back on, but it's just not there anymore.

Did you decide to roll it back without warning?

I enabled the Firefox browser VPN as a test and then disabled it, after the Google search no longer worked.

Error says Google.com is unavailable, can't connect to servers etc.

Any ideas how to fix it ?

Don't know what happened but suddenly the VPN icon got huge after an update to FF151. It may have happened after I installed Nightly. Don't remember. Any idea how I can fix it?

Hi, I'm in Canada and have Firefox fully updated and yet I cannot see the free VPN Icon in the upper right corner of the browser. I have checked the article on why it may not be there, but I am not a part of the studes nor enterprise issues. Furthermore I have signed out and signed back into Firefox. Any idea why I cannot access this feature?

I use Firefox on a Macbook, and occasionally on my IPhone SE. I have no sense of what 50GB of web browsing means. I play episodes of French in Action from Learner.org. Very occasionally stream movies.

After about 20 days since installation, I have 27GB left.

You say, "Some essential Mozilla services are excluded from VPN routing to ensure sign-in, VPN reconnection, and screens needed to sign in for public Wi-Fi work properly. All other browsing activity in Firefox remains protected when the VPN is on."

How then am I protected in any kind of secure way?

All it would take is the Mozilla services using my public IP to lose my browsing protection. How are those connections secured to protect my identity from being exposed once the VPN is enabled and even after the VPN is enabled?

If the public IP can be discovered at sign-in, re-connections, and public Wi-Fi connections before the VPN is enabled, then that same public IP can be traced through internal logs to uncover all the VPN activity done after sign-in, re-connections, and public Wi-Fi access. So, how exactly can I trust the VPN protects my activity at all?

I'm just curious how you setup any protection prior to the VPN being enabled? I'm a former IT Network Specialist I had my CISCO CCNA certificate (Worked in school districts who wouldn't pay for additional certificates so I did all the study work and practice testing up to the CCNP certification just could never afford to take any of the exams beyond the CCNA). So, when I see these additional things like your 50 GB of free browser VPN and read how it works I get curious about the actual protections being provided. Are the people more vulnerable than they may be led to believe?

hi, whenever i am trying to use the vpn on firefox, i either get a message saying Unable to find the proxy server Firefox can’t connect to the server at facebook.com What can you do about it? Try connecting on a different device. Check your modem or router. Disconnect and reconnect to Wi-Fi.

or on youtube, message shows Connect to the internet You're offline. Check your connection.

is there a way to resolve this issue. i currently set up the vpn to Location: Recommended

I am a big fan of the new VPN feature that you guys introduced that is strictly for browser. There are only two current issues i have with them and its the limited bandwidth of 50 GB that is very low and i would like the option to pay a reasonable price for unlimited. Also when i disable the vpn for a website there is a blue pop up in the corner every time i tab over or open the specific page on a new tab that i can't disable or change the behavior in any manner.

I do NOT want to use ANY VPN services. Since you introduced this, or rather, forced it on me, my browsing experience has been terrible. How do I turn off VPN? There is no VPN icon on my topolbar despite what your instructions say.
