Since I updated to Firefox 67.0.1 I was not able to access any content via online banking. After logging in I could only see a blank screen. I contacted the bank and they told me that they no longer offer on-line banking for Firefox users as they had identified a security threat with the saved usernames and passwords. They will only support Google Chrome. I wasn't best pleased as I really don't want to install or use google chrome. Bank in question is Weatherby's bank at https://odbx.weatherbysbank.com/digital/#/login Any suggestions welcome!

Oh no - another version of FF (68.0.2) that defaults to tabs on top. Is there a solution to put them to the bottom (again)

About once a week, my default browser search changes itself to Yahoo and I have to go into Preferences and manually change it back to Duck Duck Go. I have tried all the suggestions in the other answers to this question. I do not have any Yahoo extensions or anything suspicious. I have searched my entire computer for "Yahoo" and find nothing. I do not have a folder for Firefox, or any preferences file, only the application itself. I am on a Mac so Windows answers don't help me.

I then go into about:profiles and have to delete multiple profiles that have appeared and set my original one to default, which works fine and i have all my bookmarks back. However as soon as I switch my macbook off and on again, I am back to square one and have to delete old profiles and set my old one to default. This is incredibly frustrating.

I've dealt with this over a month now and I'm sick of it. There is no reason for this. I manage multiple YouTube accounts and have since abandon three of them over this. It's not even worth it anymore. Why am I being signing out every time I restart my Mac? I scavenged through the settings and there's nothing on "mass sign me out of all websites when I update FireFox or restart my computer". I can kill/ force quit FF and everything is still signed in, it's only when either FF updates or I restart my computer. It's sickening and a burden, hopefully; this isn't some key security feature that Mozilla thought was a great idea. I need some easing and for someone to tell that this is an easy fix and not some b.s. bug that will never be patched.

I updated to the latest version of Firefox and now I can't get the the page to scroll to where I click in the scrollbar. If I click at the top of the scrollbar it just barely moves the page up (same with down). How can I fix this?

Steps to reproduce:
- With an open Firefox window in the foreground - Enter keyboard shortcut: Command-N
Expected behaviour:
- New window opens with keyboard focus on the location field - Keys enters appear immediately as text in the location field
Observed behaviour:
- New Firefox window opens without keyboard focus in the location field - Keys typed are not entered into the location field
Further observations:
- Entering Command-L focuses the location field as expected - Opening a new *private* window *does* place keyboard focus in the location field - All installed extensions are permitted in private windows

Steps to reproduce:
- Load a webpage in Firefox - Enter keyboard shortcut Command-Option-M - Drag the side or corner of the Responsive Design Mode Pane to resize it - Hold cursor over the window and attempt to scroll with mouse scroll
Expected behaviour:
- Responsive Design Mode Pane scrolls normally
Observed behaviour:
- Responsive Design Mode Pane does not respond to scrolling attempt
Further observations:
- Moving focus elsewhere (e.g. by clicking in another window) restores normal scroll responsiveness - Resizing the pane breaks it again

I have installed Firefox 70.0.1 and I am testing our Lockwise. My questions are: 1. Does Lockwise store my credentials for websites locally (on my machine) or on a server? 2. Mac OS Catalina 10.15.1 In Preferences, DNS over HTTPS is Off. (I tried toggling that On then Off but nothing changed) In Privacy & Security I have Strict settings, though when Standard is selected the behaviour does not change.
I know that with DNS over HTTPS set to On that HOSTS is ignored. Not ideal but there you go. But with that Off Firefox did respect the HOSTS entries I have.
Something has changed?
How do I get Firefox to always use my HOSTS file before looking elsewhere?
Thank you
