Then another box comes up asking if I still want to install LeechBlock and I do so I click install. Then another box that says Firefox needs to restart and LeechBlock will start downloading after Firefox has been restarted with the option of "restart now" which I choose. It restarts and then ... nothing. What am I doing wrong?

When I try installing Google Earth again, I keep getting, installer error 1603 encountered. Does anyone know what that is? I do see Google Earth is a program that is installed on my programs lists, when I view my programs lists on my system. So, why if it is installed, do I have this problem in the first place? And, why do I keep getting the error message 1603 when I try reinstalling it? I used to be able to type in a location, and Google Earth would go to it. Now when I try viewing Google Earth, the Earth view comes up, but I'm not able to type in a given location anymore. Therefore it is very difficult to use the program. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Firefox will not load. I installed Kaspersky Internet Security and everything was working fine until it wasn't. I then uninstalled Kaspersky, but Firefox would still not load.
Since I love Firefox I restored my computer to a previous state and that fixed everything, so then I installed a different Kaspersky product and everything was perfect. Now the problem is back again.
I don't know if the problem is on Kaspersky side or Firefox, but I would prefer not to restore again and I have no more troubleshooting ideas.
Firefox starts in Windows safe mode. When I double click on the Firefox icon the mouse indicates FF is loading, but then it doesn't start. Chrome starts fine. Contacted Kaspersky, but their first troubleshooting tip did not work. Under Event viewer I can see crash details for Firefox, but I can't interpret them and I don't know if they are related to FF not loading.
I'm okay with unintelligible Firefox and then reinstalling, but I do not want to lose my bookmarks, themes, add-ons, etc.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

All this + the large memory allocation Firefox needs does not make it worth my time. I was going to use Firefox on my phone & laptop OS, not now!

We downloaded Firefox without reading all of the fine print. Got impatient and clicked through everything without reading what was being installed. Once the download and install was complete, we had issues with many other things on our computer and it wasn't working properly. We deleted everything that we thought was installed with the download of Firefox. Now we are unable to access the internet via Chrome or IE. We know that our connection is working because other devices are able to connect. I have tried a few things to get this problem fixed, but not sure what else to do. I am afraid that he deleted something important when he was trying to fix the problem!
