This happens far too often, in the course of 9 months or more frequently. What is going on Firefox? v88.0.1 Windows 10

Constant script errors that freeze whatever program I am in, regardless of the option I choose - the popup no longer gives me a WAIT or STOP IT. The box comes up that says DON'T ask me about this again.

I do not want to copy passwords, more than anything, should I create a new profile. I do not want to deal with replacing or losing the file. When I attempted to load two other profiles over the last two days, both times FF crashed. I gave up.

I am NOW in Safe Mode and without errors, and it's hard to know which app is causing the problem.

Is there a new addon that will back up Firefox these days?

Suggestions? Seriously, FF seems to be a whole lot more trouble these days than she is worth.

I've been using my banking site for many years on my desktop computer. Today the site comes up but when I try to log in I get a "404" error message. I tried logging in with Edge and there was no problem. I have deleted all my banking cookies on Mozilla and the result is the same. This is a major problem and I would appreciate any suggestions.

Almost every time I open FireFox, I get an error and have to click the "learn more" link. Once on that FireFox page, I can go other places. This has been happening all day long. Why?

The permissions when I would initially open for set cookies was Allow now the default setting is allow for session. How could this setting be changed? I did not make the change. I only access the settings through page info.

I updated my version from 88 to 89 but did not like so I went back to the 88 version. But I see I lost all the History Bookmarks and all tabs I had open. How can I get it back?

Firefox crashes and restarts my computer all the time.

What happens: Suddenly the screen just goes black and my PC boots up again. Like the power was cut for a second.

When does it happen: It started in the last quarter of last year. It happens randomly when firefox is open and multiple times a day! It does not matter whether there is heavy load on the system or just few pages are open and I'm not even doing anything. I think it has happened only once while gaming (but the firefox was open that time). And generally with heavy workloads (gaming/solidworks) the PC runs just fine. Since it started I have done two clean installs of Win 10, "refreshed" the firefox, tried disabling all extensions, disabled hardware acceleration. The crash still happens.

The crash: The windows event has two errors after reboot: Event ID 6008 and 41. The crash happens so suddenly, there are no crash logs when windows boots up. It seemed so odd that I started to suspect my PSU is broken. BUT THEN I used edge browser and my computer didn't crash for a WEEK.

I miss using firefox to sync my stuff between mac, android and windows without having to log into big corporation account. But since starting to use firefox again, the crashes are back just as before.

Any Ideas how to fix this?

I upgraded my FireFox to the latest version 88.0 today, and noticed some changes on right click menu. In the old version, the keyboard shortcut key is a to copy a link, but now it was changed to L. That is really inconvenient. As you know, when you right click a link using the mouse, your right hand is still holding the mouse, and not easy to press the letter L on the keyboard.

The old menu option is "Copy Link Locaton", but the new one is "Copy Link".

Is it possible to customize the keyboard shortcut of right click menu, please?

5 Time in raw Firefoxes crashed because i was too power hungry. first two time I close manually 3 and 4 time and ha dto manually kileld it. Then on 4th time sesstion restaure Fail. 5Th time I try manually retaurique using my historique it lag I quit, but the library and history stay open and FF never die I had to kill it manually and here I am now wih only one page opened and FF consumme all my ram.

I updated my assus last year I have up to 8GBram now and I am back to the problem when i had 4GB ram.

Remember when you could set up a "restaure session button" on your homepage, and it wasn't rgeyout. Yess at the time Emergency back up in case of crash weren't as reliable as they were 3 days ago. Rememebr when the ctrl +maj +N worked? (This why as muti tab bitch I always use 3 windows and this why I also don't want to uatomatic sessionrestaure even tho I walays end up restauring session at the begining or before closing it when I want a quick search or FF was triggered by another app.)

Remember when your sesson restaure TAB fail to load as it did to me twice this day, you could ctr+ T and then homepage and you were good?

I fear that the sessions resstaure and profiel system juste died on me !

I had this problem mostly on 1 site across multiple Windows installs. But now it happens on multiple sites. Text overlap each other. I Am using Windows 10 Pro 20H2, Firefox Last stable with only UBlock addon.

I tried: even troubleshoot mode didn't help!

- changing/flushing dns didn't help (heard dns could cause that)

Any idea why is this happening. It doesn't look like site issue, since recently it happened multiple times!

Since 88.0.1 all Amazon Prime Video content displays this message: "Your browser does not support High-Definition playback due to content restrictions. Please update your browser for the best Prime Video experience".

I've tried turning off vpn, adblocker, and set tracking protection back to 'standard', nothing helps.

I'm on W10 1909 Home which is technically not supported by MS as from this week so I did consider that as a possible (but unlikely) reason for it. However, the content plays fine in MS Edge. The content also plays fine from a laptop running Chrome on 1909 Enterprise (similar build to mine albeit not out of support yet).

I see widevine was updated in 88.0.1 - could this be the issue?

I keep having problems with Firefox not loading certain pages despite that Microsoft Edge works fine. I've cleared my cache and cookies, tried disabling my firewall, and also tried Safe/troubleshooting mode and the problem was still there. Facebook Messenger and Google Hangouts are two of the ones that regularly don't work (and sometimes Submittable, Outlook, and Google Docs), but sometimes I can just refresh the page half a dozen times and then it works. I moved and switched internets two weeks ago and it may have started then (or a few days after). I also tried turning off the proxy and disabling Ipv6.

My comp: Windows 10, 64-bit, HP laptop, new in December 2019. Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 3200U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx.

I have a staging site for my website which is protected (not visible to the public) and requires authentication with the username and password to be accessed.

Firefox is blocking access with the authorisation window coming up empty again and again and again when I enter the credentials.

So - I have to use a different browser just to access this one site.

I have cleared the cookies and cache, removed the site from the browsing history - Firefox is still blocking the access.

how can I unblock it?

I use Windows 64 bits on my PC.

I just used pacman to update to the latest Firefox, but the tab crashed each time I open a new web page ( I can open settings, about:xxx and etc... ). I tried Troubleshoot Firefox crashes and it did not crash in troubleshoot mode. Then I tried extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems but non of these options solved the problem. I disabled all extensions, themes and hardware acceleration, and it reported the same error.

My website runs NGINX with PageSpeed module. It's fronted by a CDN. When I visit the homepage on Edge and Chrome, most of the images are webp and yet on Firefox they are jpg.

My Firefox version is 88.0 64 bit for Windows 10.

Does anyone know why this is happening as visitors to my site in Firefox are getting a slower response

What I did -Tried adding an exception with allow for Cookies -Changed Standard mode to Custom - Tried with private browsing - Cleared cache - Switched off Tracking and protection for this website as well as opencart.zendesk.com

How can I put bookmarks in the toolbar at the top where it used to be? When I bookmark to the toolbar I can omly find them by clicking Bookmarks and clicking on toolbar in the drop down.

I use Windows 10 - 20H2 version and Firefox latest version.

In the last time, i got error on firefox. firefox cannot display some websites. Firefox is experiencing a delay in responding.

Step 1: Visit : tmconsultancy.com or denetcilerymm.com.tr (any website) Firefox: waiting response Step 2: open edge and visit tmsconsultancy.com (fast response) . I have been experiencing this error for the past 1 year. I completely force uninstalled Firefox and clean installed.The problem was not fixed.

However, i do not use any plug-ins or virus programs(on firefox). This problem is very annoying.

Can you help me please?
