I want to save 'Bookmarks' so they appear as a vertical list when 'Bookmarks' is clicked. I have 100+ bookmarks so I do not want to see 100+ 'bookmarks displayed on the horizontal bar.

Does saving a Bookmark in the 'Bookmark Toolbar' folder save it in the vertical list 'AND' save it horizontally on the toolbar?

Am I better off just saving Bookmarks in either the 'Other Bookmarks' folder or the 'Bookmarks Menu' folder?'

I have installed Multi-fox on my windows 8.1 PC about a year ago. It was working fine until today, it suddenly showed an error that reads, "Multifox doesn't work when multiprocess mode is enabled..." What does this mean? Can I disable multiprocess mode? If not, what can I do to fix this problem.

The error message said something about it won't be updated because "The development time would not be worth it..." I hope that multifox is gone forever.

Any information would be appreciated.

I feel like I'm going crazy. The sparkle emoji always renders as unicode but every other emoji is fine... see attached pictures.

This doesn't happen in Chrome--only FF--so I think it's a Firefox issue. But WHAT?? I tried clearing my cache. I can't think of anything else? I can't find anyone else with this same issue online. I really really don't want to use Chrome but this is driving me nuts.

In short, I want to be able to bypass certificate warnings.

Yes, I've seen this: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1169632 "When there is HSTS(HTTPS Strict Transport Security) set on the server, you cannot add a exception"

In less short, my case (because one needs to always justify one's methods), I set up a subdomain on a separate IP/host and I'm trying to test some project for which I use a webpage as a small visible part. However, the domain uses HSTS (HSTS == very nice).

However, I'm just casually testing something using a subdomain (or even a fake domain, or a real domain pointing to a new server being prepared, maybe using /etc/hosts) pointing to an external or internal IP on some old computer on my LAN or even on my own computer. And that's not possible anymore.

People should always have the option to bypass a warning, and I'm all for the warnings. If anything, there shouldn't have been a box with the option "always remember" ticked by default. There are other cases where this can be useful, some we don't even know yet.

This seems to have just started and I'm not sure why. I'm using 2.0.11 which is suppose to work. When I clicked on the new tab button in the menu bar Firefox used to open a tab to the right of the one I was on. Now it has reverted to the old way of going to the end of all the tabs. Is it possible that the settings in about:config were changed by something I did. By that I mean I did not go into about:config and change anything, It would be something like clicking "view email in browser". Anyway if some one can point out the about:config settings I should review and how they should be set I would appreciate it. I'll start there, unless there is a known solution. Thanks

Can someone tell me the difference between show all tabs from last time and load tabs. I'm trying to figure out why Firefox slows down and eventually crashes. I have close to 300 tabs but I have clicked on only a few. The rest I though were dormant. Still after a few days FF slows down. The last time I decided to restart FF I clicked on File and waited 17 minutes for the drop down menu that let me click on Exit. 23 minutes later FF crashed. So whatever is going on in the background has to be involved with why this is happening. The FF interface by the way had been closed for about 20 minutes before I got the crash notice. This is not about running MBAM,buying a new machine or upgrading to the ESR. to fix the problem. It's academic. i want to know why because all the recommendations to upgrade in the past have not improved the situation and recent upgrades made things worse. I will be doing the ESR upgrade in time but I want to be able to launch this version as well perhaps as a different user.

It started happening a few months ago after the last updates, and no fixes that I know of (delete and reinstall Firefox/ get rid of all extensions etc.) have worked. Here's the deal, all list boxes on any website I go to from Firefox and only Firefox are black unless my mouse pointer is over the text (see attached screen capture). Also some web pages I open are mostly black save a couple embedded videos etc., except some text and other clickable items become visible when the mouse pointer scrolls over them (attached screen capture of web page in Firefox with issue and screen capture of same web page in Chrome no issue).

On line for the past week and Foxfire keeps crashing. Says it is sending crash results and I get nothing but crashes. No response or a email on how to fix such crashes. I have been getting for a year or more that Foxfire is not responding but it usually goes away in a minute or two and resumes. This however kicks me off the net all together . Even in the middle of a conversation. Can I get help? I have got my crash reports which are in Greek and ancient Hebrew ( I have no clue what the report states . It is in English but might as well be in those).

There are a couple of website that I'd like Firefox to automatically sign in to. For other sites I don't want FF to store passwords. But I don't want to have to decline saving the password every time I sign into one of the many other sites that I use. Said another way: can I white list some websites but otherwise instruct FF not to bother asking me about other sites when I log into them?

I just ran the latest update -- 51.0.1. (64bit). I have my startup page but when I click on a site, I get to the site (according to the URL) but all I see is a blank page. If I do Firefox Refresh (not a page refresh), everything works ok. But once I close Firefox and the reopen it, I get the same result, blank pages no matter which website I go to. The only thing that solves the problem is Firefox Refresh. And then only temporarily.
