Hi, i am a Firefox lover. I have been using Firefox for about 3 years. But have one things that i really hate in Firefox, that is bookmark bar in Firefox not disappear automatic when you are not in Newtab. My screen is quiet small (13 inch) so it's quiet anoy when the bookmark bar take a small space of the interface. I just wonder that why Firefox don't make it like Chrome?
I tried a way, which is using custom userChrome.css but it's animation is not smooth.
I really love Firefox and i hope that you will make it become more convenient for users.

By signing into my Firefox acccount can I bring the old bookmarks to my new computer? I didn't specifically save them before but am hoping that my accoount with Firefox automatically saved them and I can noow bring them to my new computer. Please help me. I am old and so stressed. I use the bookmarks library all the time when browsing and have always used the shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + B to open it when using Firefox. Now it just opens the bookmark sidebar. This has only happened recently which makes me think it could be the most rceent update to Firefox that has caused the issue.

A technician moved data from my dead computer to my new one (both Windows 10), My Firefox Bookmarks are in a folder called "Favorites" on the desktop. I tried to copy this into Firefox Bookmarks, but it doesn't open up into subfolders, etc., like it was in the old computer & in the desktop "Favorites" folder. There is also an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop & it contains a list of "bookmarks***.jsonlz4" backups, but they are all at least a year old. Obviously, I am computer illiterate & completely lost.

I'm trying to restore my bookmarks after reinstalling Windows 10. They were saved in a windows.old file on my Passport. I used the Import and Backup button, selected Restore, and choose my file. It's a json file. It then gave me an error message "unsupported file type."
BTW, the file ends in .jsonlz45dd510a6. It's not recognized as a json file, so I had choose 'all files" and then highlighted it to select it, and received the above error message. I then tried making a copy but omitting the letters and numbers after .jason, and tried using that, but got an error message "unable to process the backup file."
Updated to win 10 from 8.1 and forgot to backup my precious bookmarks.

With the new updates beginning Monday, i lost my bookmarks, the ability to restore the, the ability to get them through sync and the ability to even create one.
In the profiles, I created a new profile based on my current profile and launched it in a new window. All the bookmarks are there and work. I make it the default profile and restart. The browser comes up as before with no bookmarks, cannot restore, cannot add them, etc.. I go to profiles, yes, it is using the alternate. I set the original back to default and restart. Same thing no bookmarks, the alternate if started in a new browser does have the bookmarks... see the circle of despair I am in.

how to break bookmarks link between my PC and ios devices
When I create a bookmark on my PC it appears on my iphone and ipad, If I delete it from ipad or iphone it is deleted from PC. I don't want this.

Using Firefox 71.0 (and previous), my bookmarks stored in folders on the Bookmarks Toolbar open up on another ddisplay than where Firefox is. I have to go to the opened meny on the other screen and select the bookmark there. This problem came with a resent update, but has been working nicely for several years before that.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. No bookmarks. I did a Revo Uninstall and cleared the registry. No bookmarks. I deleted the localstore.rdf. No bookmarks. This is kinda a deal breaker for me. I might have to go to Chrome or IE.
