Hello. I am having the same issue as another user, but they flagged their question as solved so I'm making a new one just in case.

I can't login properly to YouTube, only in Firefox, even after clearing cache and cookies and disabling add-ons/running safe mode. I can login to my Google account, view my playlists and recommended videos (although the main page with recommendations only shows 5 lines of videos and when scrolling further is not loading). I can't make any edits, for example add videos to the "Watch Later" playlist, that require a login. When I click login, Google shows the 405 error "The request method GET is inappropriate for the URL /youtubei/v1/browse/edit_playlist. That’s all we know." or with other URL, depending on the action taken.

What can I do? Thank you.

Several years before, I had an adblocker add-on with a feature to define own filter rules.

With that feature, I was able to block parts of often visited web pages with some few mouse clicks only.

Unfortunately, I don't remember, which adblocker and which additional addon I used at that time.

How can I find back that solution for me?

Hello, this appears to be a Firefox-exclusive problem as any other browser used will fix the issues listed below. However, when I am using Firefox, the following happens:

  • I am unable to like or retweet anything, and cannot follow any accounts. Attempting to do so resets them if I refresh or click off the tab.
  • Notifications do not go away even when I view them
  • Any tweets I have cannot be deleted
  • Any info on my profile cannot be changed
  • I cannot log out

I've tried multiple ways to fix this, including clearing my cache, running in Safe Mode, and removing my saved login. None of these have worked, unfortunately. I've reached out to Twitter Support, but soon realized I wouldn't hear back about specific problems at all. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

Hi all

I recently refreshed my Firebox browser and I can now no longer use McAfee WebAdvisor.

Really frustrated by this - I browse a lot for work and research. I find the WebAdvisor reassuring to have on-hand.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling WebAdvisor but it still does not show. I tried searching for it through the add-ons menu and it still does not appear.

I reached out to McAfee who told me that Mozilla no longer allows McAfee WebAdvisor on Firefox.

Is this actually, seriously the case? I'll be disappointed if so - Firefox is my preferred browser but I'll have to ditch it for Chrome if I cannot use a safe-search advisor. And it should be up to user which safe-search add-on they wish to use, not Mozilla.

Can anyone advise on this?

Many thanks!

It's a simple question: Why Firefox enforces by default extensions like Amazon, Bing, eBay, Google ? What really these extensions do?

Paradox#1: Firefox enforces to use those totally insecurity and unreliable companies! Paradox #2: Firefox don't even show those extensions mentioned above! Paradox #3: Even when I remove them from "Options->Search Engines" these ones keep being enabled and hidden! Paradox #4: Third party program needed to manage those Firefox hidden extensions! I Disable all above extensions by "CCleaner" and: Paradox #5: they comes back by default in every Firefox damn update!

I wish I'm wrong I would pleased if someone explain in an article, or even in few words, why all those. I think Mozilla should detailed explain.

Thanks in advance and Sorry for my English.

Firefox refresh deleted everything, I don't have my browser history nor bookmarks and saved passwords, why did guys lie and vague recommend something that would delete everything just cause internet was slow without warning? It even said it would keep the history and bookmarks so that's another lie. And I can't get my old data back in my profile, so I want to know the phone number for firefox customer service or tell me in clear layman terms how to get my browser history back in firefox.

Malwarebytes : Software is Preventing Firefox From Safely Connecting to This Site

Hi,

I've been using malwarebytes for a few years without any problems but now I'm getting this message when browsing to any web site Any idea why this is happening ?

support.mozilla.org is most likely a safe site, but a secure connection could not be established. This issue is caused by Malwarebytes Web Protection, which is either software on your computer or your network.

What can you do about it?

support.mozilla.org has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

   If your antivirus software includes a feature that scans encrypted connections (often called “web scanning” or “https scanning”), you can disable that feature. If that doesn’t work, you can remove and reinstall the antivirus software.
   If you are on a corporate network, you can contact your IT department.
   If you are not familiar with Malwarebytes Web Protection, then this could be an attack, and there is nothing you can do to access the site.

The browsing history works fine, with one exception: once you click on an older link to reuse it or even to simply look at it, the older link is removed an replaced by the new one.

This is very disturbing whenever you need the older link's timestamp as a proof you accessed the corresponding page at a given time.

Is there any possibility for the user to avoid this behavior?

Hi,

Im struggling like hours on getting a http connection to a private webservice of mine... Firefox always redirect me to https://example.com instead of http://example.com.

I tried following solutions: - delete whole cache - Start Firefox in Safe mode - removing all extensions - setting this in about:config:

   security.insecure_field_warning.contextual.enabled = false
   security.certerrors.permanentOverride = false
   network.stricttransportsecurity.preloadlist = false
   security.enterprise_roots.enabled = true
   browser.urlbar.autoFill to false in about:config.
   browser.cache.check_doc_frequency from 3 to 1.
   urlbar.autofill false
   browser.urlbar.trimURLs false

- restarting firefox - restarting computer

And still this damn brower redirects me to a https site!!!!!!!!!

Searching for a solution since 4 hours. Please help me!

In the past month I have begun receiving the following message for websites that I use regularly. These are very common company sites like American Airlines and Disney.

Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/" on this server.

I am trying to figure out why access is being denied and if this is related to Firefox.

Thank you for your help.
