I would like to obtain the complete release history of Firefox ESR Portable, including:

The exact release date of each Firefox ESR Portable version. The corresponding Firefox ESR version number (e.g., 115.x ESR, 128.x ESR, 140.x ESR, etc.). Any available information regarding delays between the release of Firefox ESR by Mozilla and the release of Firefox ESR Portable.

Could you please provide a list of all Firefox ESR Portable releases along with their release dates, or direct me to an official source where this information can be found?

My laptop seems to be on the correct time zone, but when I access websites through Firefox they seem to see a different time. For example, it's currently around 6 p.m. where I live and that's what my laptop says, but when I open my email in Firefox it thinks it's already after midnight. This discrepancy has shown up with multiple websites, so I'm pretty sure it's something going on with the browser. It only happens on my laptop though, not on the mobile version of Firefox. There is no setting to change time zone in Firefox settings so I can't fix this. Please help!

• It's not affecting Japanese text
• It's not exclusive to Japanese websites (it's present in one email in gmail, but not all of them)
• I haven't seen it on any Japanese websites
• It's also present in some add-ons that generate text (Checker Plus for Gmail, Yomichan)
• Turning off all add-ons doesn't fix it, but opening the page in a private window does fix it

Has anybody else experienced a similar problem? Or can you help me trouble shoot this issue please?

I'm busy playing audio in a tab of the browser. The sound quality is good (rich, full, deep). Next, I open a new window by any means (Ctrl+N / Open link in new window / Menu > New window) As the new window appears, the current audio playback becomes tinny / lower quality. After a 3 seconds, the normal good sound quality starts again.

I'm currently using Bluetooth connected headphones and this happens on different headphones. I have to find some wired headphones first before I can try that. This happens with every new window that I open, regardless of the number of open tabs in current windows or how many previous open windows I already have. This happens regadless if audio enhancements of the output device are enabled or not. Spatial sound is set to off. Windows is set to 'do nothing' & will not adjust the volumes of different sounds when I'm using my PC to place or receive telephone calls.

OS: Windows 11 with latest patches Firefox: latest & older builds Hardware drivers: All manufacturer drivers applied

PS I can replicate this issue by changing between the 'Playback' & 'Recording' tab in the Sound Control Panel applet. That is to say, the same decrease in audio quality happens when I change from the Playback tab to the Recording tab. I do not wish any of my passwords to be stored anywhere it isn't absolutely necessary. My own highly secure method I've been using for many years is listing them all on a removable drive that is encrypted and only in my PC's when necessary. Therefore, I wish to disable any and all PW Managers in the software I use. Please instruct me how to permanently disable the PW Manager in all Mozilla software.

Everything is stated above with an explanation of the reason.

I am on version 155 of the browser, and the sidebar is not showing up for me. Clicking the sidebar toggle button also does nothing. I've tried going into settings and toggling the show sidebar option, but that also doesn't do anything, as if the sidebar feature doesn't exist. Toggling vertical tabs just makes the tab bar disappear, and I've tried both the options menu and right-clicking the side bar toggle button. Is there an error, or am I missing something?

About two months ago, after various Windows and Firefox updates, I can no longer make Firefox the default browser. In Windows Default Apps the only option for FF is to make it the default program for Adobe Acrobat Document. Choosing Make FF Default through the browser does not work either. Additionally, I’ tried numerous suggestions, using AI help offered by both FF and Chrome, without success.

The OS is not allowing me to make Firefox the default browser. Is there any way around this?

Any suggestions?

I am looking for an addon which displays times in different locations. I find one, FoxClock, which initially seems to meet my need. However, although the developer says its safe, and it has a Recommended badge, text in the app description says "Access your data for all websites." This may be 'honest' but it seems to be honest at the level of a thief saying "I'm going to rob you." WHY would a clock app need access to my data for all websites? Why would a clock app displaying on my desktop, not my browser, need to access any info about my data for any website? Poor coding? Lazy coding? Dangerous coding? Is this only a result of less than nuanced messaging by the developer or Mozilla, by using a generic message, rather than one which accurately states the 'access' is only for specified installation needs? Or another understandable safe reason? I'd like an explanation, since it does call into question the degree of security offered by Mozilla.

I have a cmdfile to open specific news websites in a private window. The syntax of the cmdfile line is

start "" "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -private-window %*

with a "timeout /t 2 /nobreak" call for a 2 secs pause between each to give things time to get going (firefox seems to trip up if I rush it with URLs using start command .. probably understandable).

This works, but all "windows" open in a new tab in the existing or initial private window instance. I want them to each open in their own instance of a private window. It seems to be behaving like the option -new-tab rather than a genuine new private window for each URL.

What option/s do I need to use to get a true new private window with just the specified URL open in a single tab for each URL I have coded?

My font on some sites is being forced to this horrible condensed font and it's seemingly nothing to do with my font settings in browser. Thing is, I VAGUELY remember changing a setting SOMEWHERE to actually do this, but it's not the main font setting in accessibility. Furthermore this issue has only started happening in the last day or two and my vague memory of setting my font somewhere was years ago.

Is there any other setting in Firefox that affects default font for certain sites?

I have started receiving a secure connection failed error message for a portal log-in website that worked fine for the past 6-7 months (see attached document). Other people in my group use Firefox and Bitdefender to access the portal and none of them are having this issue.

I originally believed the problem to be my anti-virus (Bitdefender) and worked with them to resolve the problems. After trying various solutions including clearing my cache, using private mode and turning off different components of their software, Bitdefender believes the problem is with my browser setting and not their software. I also tried accessing the portal using Chrome in both regular and incognito modes and cannot access the site which would seem to rule out the problem being a Firefox browser problem but contacting Firefox support seems to be the next logical step.

I have been to the Firefox FAQ and saw similar problems with potential solutions - DNS over HTTPS, TLSKEYLOGGING issues, add-on exceptions - none of which worked. I have the most recent version of Firefox and am running Windows 11 home version.

Sometimes if I hit refresh after receiving the error message, the browser will try to connect and I will get a server time out message. If I keep hitting "try again", sometimes the portal log-in screen will appear and allow me to log-in. The key word is "sometimes" since often I just keep getting the server time out message.

Any ideas for me to try from this forum?

If i want to watch a video that has geoblocker and i switch VPN on, some videos stop after a short time (2-3 min) and if i refresh the page it will again run only for a short time after choosing the scene and continue watching. Some other videos on the same page just run fine with VPN on, without any interruptions. Why is that and what to do?

Am using a Lenovo laptop running Windows 11 and Firefox v.155.0.1 (latest). Have just purchased Bitwarden in order to have master password for security when computer goes for servicing etc. But cannot find the manner to generate csv file needed by Bitwarden. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
