This problem started yesterday and I cant seem to fix it where youtube is too wide for my screen without any indicator on the top of my screen saying that its zoomed in and I cant watch any videos fullscreen. This glitch isn't a problem on any other websites. I tried opening and closing the browser, I tried restarting my computer tried clearing my cache and cookies and I tried using different accounts but none of them seem to fix the problem!

UPDATE - - problem solved - - Using Firefox Troubleshooting Mode I found that the problem was ''''caused by an added extension '''' which has been turned off (I hope) One thing I don't understand though is that I fixed this in Firefox but it also fixed it in Chrome. All images show up in both, so how does one browser fix a second browser? I have yet to check Safari but I never use that one anyway, so I'm not going to push my luck! Thanks Terry.

- - - I have a LOT (hundreds) of images that do not show up on many pages and each one is labeled,

403 Forbidden in the Network Monitor.

There are images that do show up on the same pages and the amount varies.

Those are labeled with a green 200.

What causes this and how can I fix it so they all show on the pages?

and do I have to fix each and every one? That would take months.

When I click on a link from an email or document, Firefox opens but goes to my homepage and doesn't go to the link page. I've tried setting my home page to blank, changed the settings for opening a new tab or window, and the one for "switch to it immediately" but it doesn't seem to help. How do I fix this? Have had this problem for a couple of years now, across dozens of Firefox updates. Decided to finally make a post since have not been able to find anything online.

Normally not too much of an issue as I can edit on a different computer through Firefox Sync (or through the Bookmarks manager), just posting to see if anyone else has seen this before.

If I open a Bookmarks Toolbar folder, then right-click a bookmark to edit it, the contextual menu appears behind the open folder dropdown menu.

Issue persists even if I reset Firefox, or even completely uninstall / remove ALL its bits and pieces, reboot, and do a clean install.

Since I am on a Mac, I use the AppCleaner app from FreeMacSoft to completely remove an app.

This happens only on one of my two Macs. Have never seen this behavior on any other Mac (I work on dozens for work). Both my Macs also have Win 10 installs through BootCamp and those two also behave normally. I use Firefox Sync across 4 Firefox installs (2 Mac OS and 2 Win 10), an iPhone, and an iPad.

Screenshot enclosed below. Feel free to ask for any other info you may need. I recognize this may not be a Firefox issue. There seems to be a funky interaction between my install of Mac OS and Firefox. This occurs only with Firefox. All other apps exhibit normal menu behaviors.

Tech details: Firefox 117.0 Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 running on mid 2012 15" MacBook Pro with 1 TB SSD and 16 GB RAM

Hello all,

When I'm using my Firefox browser spell checking is working only with English language. Polish is my native language and I want use this function to Polish as well and set Polish as my default language. I tried to adding/removing other languages than Polish from options, setting higher priority to Polish language, how ever I have no result with that. Please help, will highly appreciate. Thanks in advance.

It would be great to be able to add a 'friendly name' to cards stored. I have personal, joint account and business cards saved, it can get a little confusing.

When hit enter key to search with google or some other website that tab just freeze for few second, can't click on anything on that website after that it back to normal like how it work without the freeze

I already try everything i could like disable Firefox Accessibility Service, troubleshooting.

Using arch's latest version. I recently upgraded my firefox version to 117.0, and can't play any videos from different sources.

The image freezes and is in an eternal buffering state.

I tried downgrading to 116.0 and 115.0, and the issue persists, so it doesn't seem to be related to the latest Firefox version.

So far, I've confirmed the same issue in YouTube and Twitch.

On Twitch, the videos are super laggy. The image freezes, then moves to a different scene, freezes again, and then the same thing over and over.

On YouTube, it always shows as loading. If I try to move it to play a different time in the video, it works for half a second and then freezes again.

The issue still occurs if I try incognito mode, troubleshoot mode and refreshing Firefox. I already tried disabling hardware acceleration (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1206076) and have no more ideas or options.

Like everyone else, I have thousands of bookmarks subdivided into folders. When you use 'Bookmark Manager' in Chrome it opens in a live tab and stays resident in that tab when you use it to open other URLs in new tabs. In Firefox, click to open a URL in a new tab and 'Wham', every time, the Bookmark Manager is gone. It is then a faff to open it again to find a different bookmark.

Unless I'm missing something, this involves opening the same Bookmark Manager in it's own window every time I want a bookmark, which seems ridiculous. If it persisted in its own window that would be something...

Is this correct? Is this a shortcoming and is there a fix for this please?

Since v117 update I noticed pages scroll way more. With one scroll they do double the amount of lines then previously. I thought I was seeing things, so I reinstalled Firefox v116.0 to make sure and confirmed it was scrolling less with the previous version. I found a setting "mousewheel.system_scroll_override.enabled" set to 'true' by default. Switching to 'false' fixes the scroll amount, but when I was back on v116.0 I checked that setting there and it was also set to 'true' by default, yet no double scrolling. So I have no idea what could cause this issue. Maybe something was 'fixed' with this setting and now it's applied correctly? Or should nothing change with scroll amount when updating from 116 to 117?

I am using Windows 11 and Firefox 116.0.3. Some characters like ‘ ’ “ ” — become weird symbols in Firefox when I copy and paste text containing them to html source text file. This started happening earlier this month, never happened before. Why is this happening now?

HI! I posted earlier about problems accessing websites after updating the browser to 115.2.0 esr. Earlier in the day I had accessed these websites with no problems .... now after the update installed, shopify is trying to validate whether I am a human and verify the browser. Resulting in an endless loop of identifying myself as a human and it trying to validate the browser.

Ever since I update Firefox a month or so ago, every time I open the browser it wants to restore my last session. I've went into setting and check it to make sure I did have it on. I even turn it on, rebooted and the took it off and rebooted. Nothing seams to work. Any help?

I've been using Firefox Developer Edition for the past two years without problems. From some point on(about 1 week ago), All browser's search functions suddenly don't work. Navigation bar? Not work. Searchig from Bookmark? Not work. Do not use google? Not work even with duckduckgo. with out DNS? Not work even with 142.250.206.206. There is only one website that i can access with Firefox Developer Edition. It is Mozilla's official website At this moments, I curious that "why isnt work>?" So i used Developer tools, And then I found something amazing. There was no request or response on the Network tab! (Of course, I pressed Ctrl + R) And then, on second thought, I found that the JS function that should have been small in the lower left of the browser screen was not displayed. Finally, I thought, hmm... My Firefox is broken! So i found the FireFox, and then i uninstall it, and reinstall it! All the External Plugin works, OK then What if FireFox????? Unfortunately, Firefox Developer Edition's problem remained the same. I'm sorry that i couldn't even give you a possible cause of the problem. But i SUFFER for a week! Please resolve the issue.....

I seem to remember that there was a setting to open with a standard set of sites, selected by me. I may be mistaken but it is a pain to keep opening these everytime I log on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In this website, written in markdown if I'm getting this right, the equations are not displaying in my browser.

My browser is displaying corretly all the examples in the other questions on math rendering, and also in similar books (here, here).

I've deleted cookies and cache, disabled extentions/adblocker, tried safe mode, without any change.

I have the same problem with all Edge and Chrome too and even on another computer. I thought the problem was in the website but the equations are rendering fine when I test them on https://www.browserling.com/.

When I click on Next on the login page of Hulu, youtube or the Roku websites, nothing happens. No messages about wrong or unrecognized credentials. Just no action or movement at all.
