hi all i'm having a problem with firefox browser, its not keeping my website logged in. This does not occur after i close my browser but after a few hours of log in, even if i leave the browser opened and come again back later.

I've been using firefox for ages now and never really had this issue. It has only starting happening only recently, since early this week or last week the most.

I've also manually cleared all cookies/log in etc and updated firefox to the latest version maybe it helps, but nothing changed.

Please note that I do not clear history/active log in etc neither it is set up to do it automatically when i close browser also i do not have any 3rd party apps that forbid cookies. I had a firefox addon before but disabled it maybe it was interfering, but it still didnt resolve the problem.

Was using FF 79.0. Everything worked great. I upgraded to 80 or so a while back and found that it was taking ~7-10 seconds before FF would begin to load an initial webpage, so I used system restore to go back to 79. I've upgraded to 82.0.2 and the same thing is happening. Tried going back using system restore, but system restore failed for some reason, so I'm now stuck. I haven't had success re-installing FF 79.0. Any ideas why FF would be so slow loading a page? FYI, once I'm on that website, if I click to another page on that website, it loads quickly and normally. Only seems to be when I'm moving to a new website. I'm using Windows 7.

When I try to access [https://www.surinenglish.com/] I got the following:

Forbidden. You don't have permission to access / on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. It has worked fine on this system and this browser before and still works fine in Vivaldi. No changes in AV software and no improvement when all extensions disabled. What could be causing it in FF (latest stable, Win 10)?

I am running firefox 82.0.2 and I cannot export my bookmarks to html

When I take the jon file and check it on another browser many bookmarks are missing like a lot

Is there a tool I can use that will export my bookmark -- so the job gets done and I will remove my current version of firefox

I have spent hours, literally, trying to fix this issue by following firefox community help guides yet nothing I've found has solved the problem. I can fully utilize youtube, with similar addons installed , on google chrome and microsoft edge without any problems yet firefox will allow only videos to be watched on youtube - nothing more. When I try to comment it says: Returned error , when click on the (save) button; nothing happens, when i click on my account icon a blank window opens with a circle spinning in the center endlessly - - the extent of functions is limited to, watching videos . I've manually installed Adobe flash, I've tried disabling the polymer function, I've tried the safe mode with my firewall disabled (I made sure that the microsoft firewall did not enable when I disabled Kaspersky), I went into about:config and did all the adjustments... there is quite a number of other things I did over the course of three hours. In the picture I have one picture showing my firewall/addons disabled with firefox in safemode while in the other picture the firewall/addons are enabled. System Information

Whenever I open Firefox it opens a new tab for a brief moment then closes it and opens my previous tabs from my last session. I have this setting unchecked in the settings. I think that it is crashing and trying to restore my pages because of that, but there are no crash reports when I visit about:crash. I am running the latest version of Firefox and windows 10.

I didn't used to receive this,but I keep getting the Keep getting "firefox can't update to the latest version" message on a pretty regular basis. I have downloaded and installed the latest copy a few times, but then I still get this message.I haven't tried uninstalling the browser in control panel, but I thought I'd check this first. Current version: 82.0.2 This is happening on my work machine (Microsoft Surface) running Windows 10.

In Google Search, there is often a "People Also Ask" section with drop-down answers. In last few weeks they won't open for me, but they do in Safari. There are some other minor things with other sites.

1. Numbered list item I searched in about:config for "java" and there are no edited settings like that.
2. Numbered list item I disabled all extensions, restarted Firefox, problem persists.

I don't know what other settings to check.

Hi there, first time posting. I have Firefox 82.0.3 64-bit and I am on Windows 10. The only add-ons I have are Ublock Origin and Adblocker.

This morning I was having some internet trouble and it turns out my ISP needs to send someone out to my house to fix it. While my internet was going in and out, Firefox seemed very sensitive to this because it would continue to crash.

I was wondering if your internet connection going in and out can cause Firefox to crash (I need to the end the process because it is unresponsive type of crashing). I don't usually have any problems with Firefox and just wanted to ask.

FireFox broke my youtube (utube) account when you updated the picture in picture (p.i.p.) from the BLUE p.i.p. button that came out from the right side of the utube vids.

• NOW with the new upgraded "white" p.i.p. button, I login to utube and the loaded utube page don't log me into my account, I have to keep reloading the page 10 times or more just to get my subscription list to load on the left side, but my notification bell in the top right hand corner won't load the new videos and it reads "SIGN IN" even though I'm signed in, and the channels I subscribe to NOW HAS a subscribe button even though I'm subscribed already!!! CRAZY!!!
• Why does it not log me into all the features on the page?

And why won't it detect I'm ALREADY logged in and load all my normal features?

• • • IS FIREFOX AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND GOING TO FIX IT or do I need to use another browser forever to view utube?

I seem to have signed up for a product that costs $2.99 per month. I don't know what the product is and I don't use it. Mozilla provides no way to cancel this charge that I have been able to find.

Since about a week or so ago late October or early November 2020, Gmail will not load in Firefox.

I began having this problem about a week ago. Sometime in October or early November of 2020. Gmail will not load in Firefox. Clearing cookies and all cache, works one time. Then it starts all over. Resting also works, just once. This is a giant PITA. I have to reset or clear the cache every time I use Firefox or Gmail won't load. It works fine on all other browsers. If I want to use Firefox for Gmail, I have to reset it or clear it every time I start Firefox. I have to go back to Chrome to use my Gmail.

I would rather not have to do this for each link I might want to look at. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. This has not helped.

My Microsoft Office would not update properly and my build (1803 or 1809?) kept getting a message about "End of Service, no longer supported and I needed to install update). I worked with a Microsoft Tech for two days and she was unable to get the update to complete successfully. The final step was to try do a Windows "Recovery" and run the "Reset this PC".

A message stated apps would be deleted but it also stated it would keep my "personal files".

Ultimately, the "Recover" and "Reset this PC" worked and I was finally able to update my Windows to build 1909. However, in the process it appears to have deleted Firefox and all my login data, websites, bookmarks, favorites and passwords.

Once again i worked with a Windows tech to see if we could get Firefox data back but the "Window.old" doesn't appear to have kept any Firefox data as every account "Administrator", "User", "My Name", Visitor and Default either have no Firefox folder, contains no files in the Firefox folder, or has a file with today's and is only a few kb's in size. Also, the Firefox "Import and Backup" feature doesn't have any files saved except one that is dated today has 11 items and is 1kb.

The Windows tech stated I may be able to contact Firefox and gain access to my information using my login, email, phone number type credentials to verify my identity.

As anyone reading this can understand I'm lost without this data. I have close to seven years worth of passwords, bookmarks and folders saved in that Firefox. I literally can't login to anything because not only do I not know the passwords but I don't know any of the login names either. This means resetting an account or password on a majority of my websites like banking, medical, etc...is virtually impossible.

Basically, I'm just hoping my information may be saved on the Firefox side a cloud server or something and I'm hopefully able to gain access to it talking to the community or Firefox tech support?

I do have access to my email on my phone but I can't see or reset the password on it either because it asks me to enter my email password in order to get to the area that allows me to reset the password.

Currently on the latest beta on macOS Big Sur v11 beta (20A5364e).

Crashing of tabs has at least been resolved since previous versions but I am having an endless usability issue. I can have 2-5+ tabs open and clicking on the tab itself appears dead/unresponsive. Clicking a few more times (in different areas of the tab) or selecting another tab then switching back results in the tab being selected/usable/active again.

I am unable to find any common way to replicate this or reason for it - the sites in the tabs are always very much different. It's not the web site that becomes unresponsive as even when opening multiple 'new' tabs, the same issue can occur without even loading a site.

I got an error on one of my open or pinned tabs (do not recall which it was). I do not recall what the error was and did not screenshot it because I was sure that closing Firefox and restarting it would fix the issue. I did just that, closed Firefox and reopened it to find that ALL of my pinned and open tabs were GONE. This also happens if another instance of Firefox is opened and I close my main one first by accident and then close the other Firefox instance - ALL TABS LOST.

This is what I have done: • I started to restore the pinned tabs as I could remember what they were but I was not able to remember the open tabs that were not pinned • I searched for lost tabs on the web and on the Mozilla support site but was not able to find any useful help - most of it seems outdated or no long compatible with my version of Firefox. • I looked for the sessionrestore files on my local PC but could not find them - this must have changed in some version of Firefox between version 42 and version 82 that I have. • I looked in the AddOn store to find something that would help restore and prevent this issue - but found nothing. A very old post, from 2012, indicated one that did this but it is no longer available. • All of the Options in Firefox to restore previous session, reopen previous tabs and all that were blank.

This is VERY frustrating in that it results in lots of down time to recreate what was open and is equivalent to working on a document for days or weeks only to find out that the Microsoft file got corrupt or did not save properly.

I am using Firefox version 82.0.2 (64-bit).

Two questions: 1/ Is there any way I can get the pinned and open tabs back from the previous session? 2/ What can I do to avoid this issue EVER happening again.
