Please read this carefully before commenting to me. I do know some things about computers. And no, I will not get windows 11. I am very happy with windows 10 still. After the recent update I can no longer watch videos outside of Youtube. This is very annoying. I am getting error: 232011. I have gone into the Settings: Extensions and Themes: Extensions: No add ons turned on. I have deleted my cookies. I have reloaded, I have rebooted my computer after deleted cookies. It still says error 232011. This is my ONLY computer, no I cannot check this site on another one. No, I cannot check this site at the local library. Anything that is not Youtube that has videos gets block there at this time. I have no idea why, nor do I care. I have my own computer for this reason. However, I cannot use it if I keep getting this error.

I have physical limitations and need to use middle mouse button to scroll.

However, in Firefox, middle mouse button to scroll is interrupted whenever the mouse hovers over a hyperlink or linked object -- and, fun fact, there are A LOT of links on the Internet, so this equates to a very janky and sub-optimum experience, in my personal use-case.

How can I make it so that the middle mouse button functionality is not hijacked by mouse-over context? I've already tried/disabled middle-mouse-button-click-to-open-link-in-new-tab.

I want to clear data but the only option FF is offering is with cookies. I want to delete all but cookies.

Here it only says Cookies AND Site Data. But I want Site Data without Cookies. Can I somehow manually delete those files? Or manually selectively empty some tables in SQLite databases that FF uses? If yes then what files/databases exactly?

You know when you grab a tab, drag it out, and make another window? For some reason it's never worked when dragging to another monitor. When I let go, it doesn't do anything, and the tab stays in the original window.

I am using Norton Password Manager for all my logins. Trying to figure out how this will affect my Firefox account. I just changed the account password to one randomly generated, but haven't logged out yet as I want to make sure I can get back in. Should I logout on all devices & then log back in with new password?

i installed the latest version from the website, and it only opens for a split second before it crashes. no error message, it just closes before its even fully open. same thing in troubleshoot mode: the troubleshoot mode popup only appears for a second, i dont even have time to read it before it closes. no error message. i tried a clean reinstall and nothing changed. i opened it in safe mode and it worked with no problems. i read that there are sometimes issues with avast, which i used to have, so i deleted the residual files i found in AppData and Program Files. still nothing. now the only antivirus/firewall software i have is windows defender (and i know that because windows defender keeps telling me haha), and i tried adjusting the windows firewall- still nothing. i would love to include a crash report ID, but there are no crash reports in the folder (photo attached), even though ive tried to open the app half a dozen times since reinstalling.

not sure if its relevant, but just in case- when i couldnt open the version from the website, i tried installing it from the microsoft store, and it actually worked fine at first. but shortly after i finished setting it up (it was probably open for less than an hour), it crashed and then it was the same- crashing immediately upon startup. i have since uninstalled it, in case they were interacting in a weird way, so now i only have the version from the website. i also have the mobile app on my phone and it works like a charm.

i consider myself pretty good at troubleshooting, but im completely stumped here. sorry for the long post, any guidance would be greatly appreciated

I used to be able to install an extension, and than see it automatically pin itself on my toolbar now I have to select the add ons and theme icon on toolbar and manually pin each extension I install one by one. I do not want to have to keep doing this. Will someone please tell me what is going on and how to revert this back to how it originally was?

I have bought a new computer and want to sync all my passwords and stuff. it is asking for the authentication code to proceed but i don't have it, how can i disable authentication code when it is asking for it to disable. don't know what or how to proceed? please help. -Mike M.

Netflix will crash when DRM is turned on. When i turn DRM off, the website won't crash, but it is impossible to watch a movie (error F7701-1003).

Firefox quit working. when I click on the Icon on my computer desktop I get the following pop-up window. Windows cannot find ‘C:\Program Files\Mozilla FirefoxFirefox.exe’

When I click on the Icon in my taskbar I get this pop-up window . Windows cannot find ‘C:\Users\hgmv8\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\Taskbar\Firefox.Ink’ Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

How do stop multiple tabs from starting up is it because i go from one page to another with out losing the tabs please help there are multiple tabs running

I searched in Google and this website for instructions for how to delete specific cookies for a website. Many instructions are probably for older versions of Firefox.

I used to be able to login as of this morning to Wizzair.com. Then suddenly, regardless what I do, I can no longer use Firefox to login. I used the Preferences/Privacy & Security/Cookies & Site data/Manage Data for Wizzair.com to remove the cookies for the website, but it didn't help. I changed the password, it didn't help.

Their chat support sent me to their Privacy statement. There, there is custom list of cookies that they use. I was told to try to delete them individually... I have no idea how to do that and I could not find a method that works.

For the past three days I've been unable to get Firefox to load quickly as it used to before the last update. The last time this happened the problem was conflict with my security software System Mechanic. That problem was taken care of. This time I tried rebooting the computer, turning off all my add-ons, safe mode...nothing worked.

I am hosting a test website on a test domain which does not support HTTPS. In Chrome/Chromium, it is possible to forcefully "trust" an insecure (HTTP) domain name and temporarily allow it access to webcam, microphone, etc. It does not appear to be possible in Firefox. I've searched the about:config and even tried editing the configuration files directly to try and whitelist my test domain. I am not able to setup SSL or TLS on the server it is hosted on, and I need to be able to access the page on other devices. It does seem to allowlist "localhost" since I guess it's trusted by default. If there is any way to temporarily or permanently allowlist an HTTP website, I will be able to use my website on Firefox instead of Chromium, which would be much preferred.

I installed firefox and am trying to open the Vegas World sign in app and it's doing nothing in the tab, it will not come up. I'm so confused and technically challenged

On the Firefox mobile app, when I look at the screen with open page thumbnails, they are blank. And when I tap one of them, I only get a blank page. iPhone SE 2nd gen., iOS 16.3.1

Hello those wiser than me, When my Firefox 110 goes inactive by clicking elsewhere, the only change is that selected elements temporarily de-select and the scrollbar thumb turns color to one almost the same as the track, making it nearly invisible. Is there any way to keep it the same (much darker grey) when it is not the active window with the focus? There are a few themes that don't exhibit this behavior, but I could not find a dark one. My search on the subject yields only webpage design talk or obsolete pre v78 add-ons.

I'm on Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon with FF's built-in dark system theme. Thanks in advance.

Youtube has this issue the most. On any other browser YouTube works fine; however, on firefox, videos sutter, play at a very low FPS and if I try to interact with the page like pause the video, it takes somewhere between 5 to 20 seconds for the site to respond and actually pause the video.

This happens on other websites as well that have interactive features

Additionally, when on sites like discord or LinkedIn, if a video starts playing and I pause it the audio will continue playing and loop and overlap over itself. The only way it will stop is if I refresh the site.

I have tried updating my video drivers, reinstalling them, changing all the settings possible on my computer to make it work but nothing yet. Thanks for the help.
