I'm using Firefox 86.0 on an Apple Silicon Mac mini (16 GB/2TB) with macOS 11.2. Several times a day when I return to the browser, it will have become completely unresponsive to clicks and or typing. In this state, I can't click on web pages, or controls in the tab bar. However, the app is not beach-balling. I can quit by right clicking on the dock icon and choosing quit from the menu (I don't have to force quit). Relaunching fixes things. Also, if I have, for example, clicked on the "new tab" button in the tab bar, once I've quit and launched again, the new tab will be in the window, indicating that the command was processed, but the result was not visible. Sometimes, but not always, when in this state the page display looks like it has been scaled to about 50%. (As if I'd hit "Zoom out" five times). One clue that may relate to this is, I'm running in scaled mode on the monitor (The monitor is capable of 3840x2160, but I'm scaling things in the Display control panel to 2560x1440.) Apps are running in Retina mode. I have tried running Firefox in Safe mode, but that didn't help. I have a lot of tabs that I don't want to lose, so running in a fresh user profile is kind of difficult, unless there's a simple way to transfer open tabs between profiles.

I just tried today, but I don't know when it started, but all of the streaming services I have access to are not working in Firefox (on MacOS 11.2.2, Firefox 86.0). They give the following errors:
Disney+ - Something went wrong. Please try again. If the problem persists, visit the Disney+ Help Center (Error Code 83)
Prime - We're experiencing a problem playing this video. For assistance, please go to www.amazon.com/videohelp.
Netflix - Pardon the interruption. This title is not available to watch instantly. Pleast try another title. - 1044. Error Code F7121-1331
I've tried multiple videos on each service, all produce the same errors. I've rebooted my machine. I've flushed all cache and cookies. I've tried in safe mode.
Youtube and Twitch both work. Strangely enough the "Watch Trailer" on Prime works. On the same machine Chrome and Safari play all services fine.
This makes me think it's either a privacy guard setting or a DRM setting. I've also checked my media.mediasource settings and they are all default. Play DRM-controlled content is also enabled.
Anyone have any help or other things I can check?

Since the new update with the change in cookie management, login at my school is not working. We use a number of different sites that pull from the Stanford login cookies. For example stanfordhealthcare.cloud-cme.com uses my login.stanford.edu cookie to function, and so it no longer functions and login is impossible.
I know the new system has a bypass built in for known login services, but what about the myriad different independent SSO systems used by schools?

I'm trying to install and use a digital security certificate on my MacBook Air (2020). The OS is Big Sur 11.2.2
Currently, the certificate shows as installed, but I can't download a backup to install it on Thunderbird to use for digitally signing emails. The tutorial article from the digital certificate company seems to be for an older version of Firefox, or perhaps the Mac version is different enough that the steps don't line up. Either way, one of the steps is to "Enable FIPS" and I have not been able to do that. I can find the option to enable FIPS, but it is greyed out and I haven't been able to find any information on how to fix that.
Preferences/Privacy & Security / Security / Certificates / Security Devices
Clicking on the certificate itself in the Device Manager list shows the status as logged in and the options that are available on the right side are Log out, Change password, and Load, but Enable FIPS is grey.
Hello, if you look at the message below you can see that I can't use the extension but the program is installed properly

Firefox automatically starts itself on start-up every time. I don't want it to. If I want it on, I'll click on it. I don't go on the internet every single time I start up my computer and don't like having to WAIT for it to start up so I can quit it. I don't know why it does this - never did before - and it is EXTREMELY annoying! HELP! I'm on a Macintosh OS 10.15.7 Catalinabold text

I use Firefox as my default browser, and I am an enrolled online student. I have an external logitech camera that works fine on Chrome and Safari (I'm on Mac) but Firefox requires a complete close and reopen after a few hours. It stops accessing the video camera accurately, although the indicator light on the camera still comes on.
This happens regardless of the platform (i.e. Google Meet, Zoom, chat sites).
Does anyone know what's going on? Or what settings can be tweaked? A computer running windows ten is having the same issue.

Some websites like to hijack your keyboard shortcuts. (For example in forums, ⌘-C, ⌘-V, ⌘-K, ⌘-L)
In Firefox, you can hold ⌘+Shift while clicking a link to open it in a new background tab. I recently encountered a website (Duckduckgo) which hijacks this as well.
Is there a way to block website from redirecting your keyboard shortcuts. It's really intrusive and I hate it.
Thanks.
How do you remove searchbaron? How can you block it from reinstalling?
