Hello,

I am a college professor at University of New Haven, which uses the Canvas online learning system. Within Canvas, we have access to the Kaltura media content system where we can create, upload, and share videos with our students through the Canvas application.

This has worked fine until recently. Now, whenever I try to access my Kaltura media through Canvas, I get the following error message:

"It seems your browser is blocking 3rd party session cookies which are required for the Kaltura application. To resolve this issue, please update your settings to allow 3rd party cookies." (see attached photo for reference)

I assume there was a routine Firefox update sometime recently that imposed stricter restriction on third-party cookies. But I have followed all the instructions here (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/third-party-cookies-firefox-tracking-protection?redirectslug=disable-third-party-cookies&redirectlocale=en-US), and I am still unable to access Kaltura through Canvas (I get the same error message).

FYI - I am able to access Kaltura through Canvas on Chrome, so I know this is a Firefox-specific issue. But I hate Chrome and want to keep using Firefox!

Is this something you can help me with?

Several sites I use (Yahoo, American Thinker) and occasionally other random sites won't load when I use your Add-Ons Privacy Badger, and Ublock. I get server can't be reached errors. I use ESET as my security app. Suggestions?

Despite what all the articles say, I much prefer reading on my desktop to my phone, so I find it peculiar that the Firefox reading list I've got going on iOS is nowhere to be found on desktop. Seems like plenty of people have asked about this in the past. Would really love this feature to be added soon!

I'm enjoying the feature of the pinned "Amazon Search" on Firefox Home – not just a shortcut to Amazon, but a shortcut with a blue magnifying glass that adds the "search with Amazon" parameter to the main search bar and allows you to search Amazon.com without having to visit the site first. I was wondering if it's possible to add a custom shortcut for other search engines... for example, YouTube?

For reference, I have a custom search keyword established in Settings for YouTube – "@youtube". But I want to know how I can have that keyword pinned to my Home page, just like "@amazon" currently is.

I'm trying to make a bunch of donations online. I have a different credit card to do this. Some sites don't list it.

Also this credit card is expiring so I have a new expiry date and CCV, but other sites just give me an error message, no way to update.

So for the second time this month my bookmarks in my toolbar have disappeared. I was signed into my Firefox account both times they went missing. I tired to restore from backup...... nothing. I made sure that the tool bar was enabled.... nothing. I'm so frustrated, as I am in full-time school with three days left in my term and all my textbooks and course sites are GONE!! I don't understand why this keeps happening.

While trying to switch my default search engine in Firefox preferences, the only search engine that is available says "a browser" and has the firefox logo next it. There are no additional search engines to choose and it's driving me insane.

Is there something I'm missing? If anyone could help me get a google search engine in the toolbar, I would be grateful.

Firefox just updated itself to version 89. It is now displaying my tabs in a smaller, paler font. the tabs are very difficult to read. How do I make the tabs easier to read, namely larger and bolder?

In MacOS Big Sur 11.1 on my MacBook, I have set MacOS to automatically switch between Light Mode and Dark Mode. But I notice that Firefox does not handle this well. When I have used my MacBook Dark Mode and switch back to Light Mode, Firefox still hangs in Dark Mode. The only way to solve this is to choose Light Mode in System Preferences instead of automatic.

Hi, none of the videos appear/play on this CNN site that is all about videos. Only still shots appear. The videos play in Chrome. Here is the site: https://www.cnn.com/2021/04/23/world/videos-of-the-week-mobile-april-23/index.html

I've already tried toggling the "Enhanced Protection" switch off and on to no effect. I don't see any option for enabling/disabling permissions for audio/video in the address bar as appear on other sites offering video or audio. Thanks for any remedies.

Hello altogether. I sat up my MacBook to automatically enter light or dark mode. Firefox enters dark mode as expected but won't leave. Even if I restart the MacBook the next day, while the system boots with light mode enabled, Firefox will remain in dark mode.

To change this temporarily, I have to open the macOS settings and enable light mode. Firefox now change to light mode and stays in light mode, even if I again re-enable the automatic changing in the macOS settings.

Later those days, Firefox enters dark mode as expected but won't leave, like described before.

Is this a known bug? Anything else I can try?

I am trying to update the primary email associated with my Firefox account. My primary email is listed as <primary@domain.name>, for example. My secondary email is not assigned. When I try to add <preferred.email@domain.name> to my secondary email, I get the message: "Secondary email must be different than your account email"

I do not see this "account email" listed anywhere. Where do I find it, and how can I change it?

Hello, Was working just fine, then cleared cookies and cache and now when I try to log onto my GoDaddy site, I get the message, "Your browser is a bit unusual. Try allowing pop-up, adding Java script. How do I fix this and what could have happened? Thx

After the recent update of MacOS Big Sur to 11.5.2, my Firefox browser cannot display web pages in dark mode. I've tried reinstalling Firefox, reinstalling MacOSX, used Time Machine, changed Mac display settings, changed Firefox settings and nothing works. I've attached a screenshot of how my monitor looks after the update. The background is always white If anybody has a suggestion of how to fix this or what is wrong, please let me know so others can benefit from it if they have the same problem.

With Firefox 91, I can no longer disable the hideous Proton changes to tabs. Separating tabs from their content is a really poor user interface decision. It makes it harder to tell which tab is the current tab. With Proton, the active tab is slightly brighter than the inactive tabs. For older folks and color blind folks, this makes it all but impossible to to tell which tab is active.

If you won't come to your senses and revert this bad user interface decision, then at least add an official option to disable it and go back to the old tab style that other browsers use. If you won't do that, then I will just have to use a different browser. Which makes me very sad, because aside from your bad sense in user interface design, I loved Firefox.

Particularly, when I try the 'Clear all items for a single site' method, the URL I want to remove from the browser's history does not show up in the search box in the History Library. However, when I start typing the URL in the address bar, the browser still suggests that URL.

What should I do to remove this URL so that it does not show up suggestions on the address bar?
