Fred McD, Still need help on opening is still looking, fails to open past, want to always start new. Fred, Yes, still happens, but I am quite a novice, I go "Open Application Menu, Help, More Trouble Shooting Information, Application Basics Screen, Drop to Profile Folder, Click Open Folder, that shows: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\bdimqdg0.default-1417238009710-1576036826344 See some Jasonlz4 and other JASON files, but what exactly do I delete. some are old some from today. this Fierfox ver. 96.0.3 (64Bit). I did get the bookmarks in from a file I saved, not the html,, but that may have been when this started, can't remember. I see theAddon.startup. jason.lzl4 and several others, but what can I safely delete??? Jim Euler

I have noticed this mostly while browsing facebook, but can happen in more websites. I cannot recall which at the moment.

When ever I browse for more than a few minutes, and in the process also open new tabs of facebook (different groups and posts), after a while, images won't load (screenshot attached).

This can be fixed by exiting and relaunching the firefox browser. Or, it can be fixed by itself if I refresh some times, or maybe after a few minutes of me not browsing facebook.

I have tried disabling the ad-block software for the site, as well as disabling firefox enhanced tracking protection - and then refreshing. There was no change. Also, I use the Multi Firefox Account Container, and I tried opening facebook tab in "no container" but it will still open in the facebook container (I still see the colored line no top), so I am not sure if that can fix it.

Another issue I experience, is while scrolling - the more I scroll down and see more posts, the slower and more sluggish facebook gets. I do not remember this being an issue a while ago.

All of a sudden I can't download dropbox files sent to me by others. I can download them on other browsers, however. Has a setting changed for me on my mozilla browser? It's never been a problem. Is it a settings issue?

I sign into FF. I have "Never remember History" selected in my settings, and I'm running is Strict Privacy mode, but every time I open a tab and the Pocket page appears - at the top of the page are icons of some sites I have visited in the past. How can that be disabled so History is not remembered ?

Recently, my Google Search results have been rendered strangely. Some of the strangeness is 1) lack of Google Settings button in the upper right corner; 2) lack of estimated # of results at the top of the page; 3) lack of # of pp. at the bottom of the page; 4) lack of option to see cached versions of each result. I have cleared cookies and cache. I have run an anti-malware program. I have reiterated the problem in safe mode. What to do next to resolve the problem? (And, what would happen if I'd go to the FF pancake and click under History, "Clear site settings"?)

Do I need to "undo" the update so I can log onto my established websites? I am using Blur to help fill in the requested login values. But most of the time, I get circular fixes by the website, that after doing the reset of passwords, etc., still won't work. This is causing much frustration. Please respond asap.

I have to use a specific page for work and the users have a google analytics monitor on their control panel. Even if I have deletes cookies on all pages related to the control panel it still wont show. I have even reset firefox, but it still won't show up.

If I use incognito browser it comes up, but when using my regular firefox it is still stuck on the old page (as my old profil picture shows up). I've even deleted everything, but still stuck on old page.

Since the latest update my screen comes up black background with white writing (DARK theme). Even changing theme and saving, bookmarks, history etc still have black background. If I shut FF and restart it, everything defaults to DARK theme. Hard to read and annoying. Is this a bug or how can I change permanently? Regards, Richard Ferguson.

For the last several months pages on my websites don't always show correctly after i've updated them. I then need to go into the settings/privacy and delete all data to see the correct changes.

For a considerable period of time now Firefox would seem to continue to have problems being able to load Facebook - Marketplace product images. All other browsers I use to access Facebook - Marketplace have no problems at all. Firefox is now getting to point that I can no longer use it as my number one browser, which is very sad indeed.

Noticed recently firefox looses windows on startup. Set to restore on bootup, but quite frequently Firefox looses a whole window, each with several panes. eg I'm lazy and will have an ebay window, each pane different, watchlist and others with items I'm looking to buy, saves me ticking all the little boxes. Another window might be nas boxes, each pane being a nas box. Then a general window fo bowsing news etc. Noticed on startup a whole window vanishes with all its panes. Not an accidental click on close window, since get a warning if I do that because of multiple panes.

There are times when my browser doesn't let me close tabs. Whenever that happens, clicking on the X button does nothing and I've noticed that, when I try that, another layer of buttons appears briefly just over the Firefox window resizing and closing buttons; as if a new screen layer of unknown origins is blocking my actions. Closing the window, however, works normally.

This problem happens randomly and I have no idea what's causing, but it's getting annoying. How can I fix that?
