Hi, I need your help. After cleaning all cookies and caches in my Firefox, I can't access with login and password to a current website. I can navegate through general web site information; however, when I enter my login and password the web site says: "Please try another Internet Browser". I used to enter with Firefox until I cleaned up all the cookies and caches.

EDGE and Chrome have no issue with these links.

For several years I have always checked all my email accounts with Firefox and for the last few months, yahoo mail is not accessible. It redirects to att or currently.com. I have to open chrome browser and it works fine.

There was some problem in firefox browser and I tried trouble shooting and since, the issue was persisting, I decided to uninstall and reinstall the firefox. I also read that uninstalling and reinstalling the firefox would retrieve the saved logins. I proceeded and lost all saved logins of about 25 to 30 sensitive hard passwords. I browsed the help topics and found that i could retrieve the saved logins. I just searched for key4.db file and clicked on open file location in the properties menu. The result fetched me to old firefox data folder, which have both keydb and login json files. But I do not know, how to transfer the same to my No saved logins in the new firefox settings. Could someone help so that I could retrieve the hard passwords , which is very hard to remember thanks expecting

I shut off my vertical categorized list of bookmarks I had on the left side of the Firefox screen last week to use the full screen. I've been trying like crazy to reinstall the list back, but can't figure how I've done it before. I thought there was an icon on the screen that I selected to put the bookmark list, but if so, I can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about. If I have to start from scratch, I have a copy of the list, but don't know how to install, do you? - thanks, Bill Rhinow rhinow@optonline.net

No sound at all with you tube videos. Started in last few weeks. Any explanation and/or fix would be appreciated. Latest version of Firefox 93.0 64 bit - Win 10.

Have checked the basics of sound settings. Sounds turned on and working fine on any other application and through the browser - just you tube clips are void of any sound.

I noticed the following message at the top of my browser settings page - "Your browser is being managed by your organization." Except, this is on my home computer and not being managed by an organization. Is my browser compromised?

I have a problem with Firefox on my desktop. I was accessing some information from a Canadian government website when a new search responded with an Access Denied message, I repeated this with other government of Canada websites with the same result, the content of those messages are as follows: First CRA Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency.html" on this server. Reference #18.cc58d617.1634683027.4c6baf5 I then successfully accessed a number of other pages and it appears that I am denied access only to the Canadian government server. I was able to successfully access the same Canadian government information from 2 laptops. Next I installed Microsoft Edge on the same desktop and had full access to everything. Problem appears to be Firefox - Action: 1. Uninstalled Firefox using Revo Uninstaller Pro, this program is supposed to remove all evidence of the uninstalled program. 2. Restarted computer. 3. Downloaded and ran the current Firefox Installer program. 4. Despite my uninstall actions the Firefox installer detected previous installation and completed a fresh installation back to where we started. Obviously the problem is with Firefox installed on this desktop, How can I solve the issue? There apparently must be some contaminated file(s) remaining 2 possibilities, Revo's deletion is still in the Recycle bin and I now note that there is an "Old Firefox Data" folder with the Desktop files. How can I completely remove all traces of Firefox from this computer so that we can make a fresh start? I wish to keep using Firefox.

Since it seems I can't change hotkeys in Firefox, I thought I'd turn off the developer tools. But now when I press F12 it opens up a tab asking if I want to enable developer tools.

How do I stop that from happening? I have other uses for F12 than the developer tools I don't use.

bold textHow to remove copies of the same book mark? Sometimes I have five or more copies to the same book mark. I think this comes from changing browsers again and going back to Firefox.

How can I access my add ons and extensions once they are installed? Is there an icon I am missing? Searched the help topics and I must be the only dummy new to firefox that can't figure it out.

firefox doesn't work right on facebook and yahoo mail, while other browsers have no problem. It either operates extremely slowly or just doesn't function and freezes. On facebook many times areas show up blank and therefore non functional. Functions on yahoomail also at times just don't work. When I go to chrome or safari there is normal functioning. I did a refresh of firefox and it generally worked a bit faster but didn't improve the problems I just described. Also for your info I've spent a very very long time trying to find how to contact you. You really don't make it easy. I have been using firefox mainly for many years and prefer it to other browsers, but if it doesn't work properly are needed websites, then of course I will have to discontinue. I hope you can fix the problem. I have a macbook air, don't know how you can fix it if it's not a general problem. Hope you all do. Thanks. Samana Fisher

Bookmarks deleted after password recovery for Firefox login.

there was no warning or i might have missed it that if i reset my password, i will lose all my bookmarks.

IS there a way to recover these bookmarks now ?

Mozilla must be run by 20 somethings who don't realize many computer users have been using them for longer than they've been alive. As a result we are needing to be able to change the WAY TOO SMALL text in the menu bar, drop downs, tabs etc. Now that Font Size and Color Changer no longer works, is there a way to increase those fonts? If not, why don't they add that feature to the next version?

Is there a way to increase those fonts or do I need to go back to Safari?

I had to put in a new hard-drive into my computer that I previously was running Firefox browser on so I downloaded the Firefox back on after the new hard-drive was done. Before on my old hard-drive when I click Firefox browser and it came on, it had a ribbon across the top of the screen underneath the back arrow, forward arrow, and search URL that I used the most of in my favorites (I think it showed across the screen about 10 of my bookmarks) to click on instead of going into all my bookmarks to get. How can I put my most used bookmarks across the top of screen now instead of just clicking the "star" that show ALL my bookmarks and I have to go down to whichever one I want to use and boy do I have a bunch of bookmarks even thou they are in alphabet order? I hope someone can tell me how to do this!

Hello, Is there a way on Firefox Browser to permanently delete a URL from my History and have it not record future searches for that URL?

Example: I delete URL on History. I search for that URL again. I look back in my History and find that URL not recorded in the History. In other words, no matter how many times I use that URL, it will not pop in my History ever, that being a selective, automatic URL deletion from the web History for all future searches of that URL.

It looks like I'm not the only one. I want to make yahoo my search engine but it's no longer an option in FF tools. I don't like google but even Duck Duck Go, reverts to Google. What's going on? I know I can add Yahoo or DDG as an add-on but that brings me to yahoo's website. All I want is for the yahoo search engine which used to be in tools and is no longer there. I've been using the yahoo search engine for years and about 5 months ago or so, after an update it disappeared. Even though I have Duck Duck Go as my default search engine, doing a search it changes to google. Please don't shove google down our throats. BTW, restoring doesn't help and I use the search bar for searching, not the address bar.
