I read online that Firefox is planning on implementing AI features. Given the track record of AI in other browsers leaking private information, bogging down connectivity, and generally being a nuisance towards users, I was wondering if there will be opt out features in future updates? Or know of forum threads that will update with tutorials on how to turn off AI features?

If not, does anyone on this forum have recommendations for no-ai browsers?

I have no way to call any one i do have a web cam. do i need to go to Chrome every time i want to call. Messenger has stopped desktop messenger that was how i could call but now i can not is there some way to Facebook video call on Firefox please let me know thanks I want to stay with Firefox why is there no way to get video calls on Facebook??

When I play YouTube videos in Firefox, the video stutters and drops frames, even when set to 480p. The audio continues to play normally. This issue does not happen in Chr… (tuilleadh eolais)

The problem started about a week ago. I’m using Firefox on Windows 11. Restarting Firefox did not resolve the issue. I’ve attached screenshots for reference.

Can't clear incorrect email address from saved form data

For months I've been trying to clear my saved form data as I put in the wrong email address, and when using saved form data sometimes don't notice it's wrong, so replies … (tuilleadh eolais)

For months I've been trying to clear my saved form data as I put in the wrong email address, and when using saved form data sometimes don't notice it's wrong, so replies disappear into the ether.

Under Settings/Privacy & Security/Clear browsing data I have cleared Everything with all check boxes checked, and multiple times just tried the Saved form info checkbox. The wrong email refuses to die along with the related form data.

It is infuriating. Maybe you can correct it manually, or actually wipe it for me? The INCORRECT email is 'bongoots@yahoo.co.uk'. The CORRECT email is 'bongboots@yahoo.co.uk'.

I am running Firefox on Windows 11 and I'm encountering a strange issue regarding the UI updates.

The Issue: My Firefox browser updates automatically to the latest version. However, my Default Profile is visually stuck on the old UI design. It does not reflect the recent interface changes associated with the update.

The Troubleshooting Context:

  • I have verified that the browser itself is technically updated (via Help > About Firefox).
  • The strange part: I have other Firefox profiles on this same machine. When I launch those profiles, they correctly display the new, updated UI.
  • This issue is isolated strictly to my main/default profile.

Has anyone experienced this mismatch where the version number is correct, but the UI fails to refresh on a specific profile? Is there a specific fix for this?
