I am on Windows 11. Asus laptop PC. On Google Chrome, any streaming website I used with autoplay enabled would KEEP full screen mode ON after changing episodes. It would automatically go to a new page with the following episode and remain full screen. Why doesn't Firefox have this feature?? I'm seriously considering going back to Google Chrome for this one small feature. Every time I had any streaming service playing with autoplay enabled, I didn't have to manually select the full screen option every time. I am having to stand up and manually click full screen function. Every. Single. Time. This needs to change PLEASE.

For months I've been trying to clear my saved form data as I put in the wrong email address, and when using saved form data sometimes don't notice it's wrong, so replies disappear into the ether.

Under Settings/Privacy & Security/Clear browsing data I have cleared Everything with all check boxes checked, and multiple times just tried the Saved form info checkbox. The wrong email refuses to die along with the related form data.

It is infuriating. Maybe you can correct it manually, or actually wipe it for me? The INCORRECT email is 'bongoots@yahoo.co.uk'. The CORRECT email is 'bongboots@yahoo.co.uk'.

Bookmarks in Firefox disappeared and cannot import my Bookmarks backup. I have tried to restore an older Bookmark file through /manage bookmarks/ import and backup/restore to no avail. thank you

I read online that Firefox is planning on implementing AI features. Given the track record of AI in other browsers leaking private information, bogging down connectivity, and generally being a nuisance towards users, I was wondering if there will be opt out features in future updates? Or know of forum threads that will update with tutorials on how to turn off AI features?

If not, does anyone on this forum have recommendations for no-ai browsers?

I am running Firefox on Windows 11 and I'm encountering a strange issue regarding the UI updates.

The Issue: My Firefox browser updates automatically to the latest version. However, my Default Profile is visually stuck on the old UI design. It does not reflect the recent interface changes associated with the update.

The Troubleshooting Context:

• I have verified that the browser itself is technically updated (via Help > About Firefox).
• The strange part: I have other Firefox profiles on this same machine. When I launch those profiles, they correctly display the new, updated UI.
• This issue is isolated strictly to my main/default profile.

Has anyone experienced this mismatch where the version number is correct, but the UI fails to refresh on a specific profile? Is there a specific fix for this?

When I play YouTube videos in Firefox, the video stutters and drops frames, even when set to 480p. The audio continues to play normally. This issue does not happen in Chrome on the same laptop.

The problem started about a week ago. I’m using Firefox on Windows 11. Restarting Firefox did not resolve the issue. I’ve attached screenshots for reference.

I have enabled the option to open the previous windows and tabs. I had one window that I always closed last as it had a lot of groups that are important for my work, so it used to open every time I started Firefox. Sometimes, even if I closed the window by mistake without closing other windows, I was able to get it back by pressing ctrl+shift+n.

But yesterday, I might have closed it by mistake and when I pressed ctrl+shift+n , it didn't come back. I wasn't able to access my window and now it's all gone. I don't see anything in recently closed windows in history.

I need those tabs back as they are very important for my work. they were a lot of tabs. I had many groups but now all are gone. I tried by using the previous.jsonlz4 in the sessionstore-backup by renaming it in the default-release profile as sesstionstore.jsonlz4 but still wasn't able to access my window.

I didn't clear my history as the tabs opened in the window still show up in the history.

I want to avoid any 'ai assist' searches because I do not find their summaries accurate or valuable enough to be worth the environmental impact they consume. I know my web browser searches are not under the control of firefox, but for privacy and security I kill cookies when I end browsing sessions. So I am not staying logged in to search engines when I finish my sessions, and setting my preferences to 'no ai assist' on DDG doesn't last session to session because the search engine defaults to 'ai assist' searches now, as does google.

Are there any search engines that do not use ai?

Has anyone written an extension/add-on to FF that would add 'minus ai' to all my searches no matter what browser I use? Or otherwise indicate to search engines that I do not want ai-assisted summaries period?

We've got various privacy options built into FF--this is why it is my preference always--and it would be LOVELY to have a 'no ai' option too.

All of a sudden I can no longer add bookmarks to my Firefox desktop. At this point I can not even access the "Bookmark current tab." Are there settings that control the Bookmarks section. Thank you

I tried to login to k9data.org. This is a re-write of a product I've used for years. So far as I can tell, others are now using the new version. When I login the screen clears and shows entry into a url called ff.newtabsearch.net. It claims to be a new addon for Firefox. However, following the instruction, I get in a loop and there is no indication that any addon was installed.

Since the last update, Gmail has not been working correctly on Firefox. All of the buttons to the left of inbox emails that enable you to move, categorize, file, etc your emails have disappeared. I have tested my Gmail account on Chrome, Edge and DuckDuckGo browsers, and everything displays correctly. Please help. An image of the missing buttons is attached (well, since there aren't there, you're seeing a blank area of gray to the immediate left of my inbox [or any other folder] emails). Saying "you can turn off the AI" is NOT enough, Mozilla. Nothing is ever "turned off" unless it's completely removed. This is Microsoft's playbook BS; "but you can turn it off", but for some reason the system is always using a metric ton of memory, lagging and whatnot. You, of all companies, should know this and be better than that. Nothing good is ever force-installed and impossible to remove. Unless you all make it installed completely separately so people like me, who are a significant part, if not most of your user base, can not install it, nothing short of a full renunciation of the CEO will suffice to make we trust you again.

My friend recommended this browser to me. When I tried to customize it, I couldn't find an option to change the hotkeys to my preference. I consider this feature important since I use it for work. Can I do this somehow, and is there any plan to add such a feature to the settings?

I typically use FF to log into social security accounts. I have not been able to use FF for a couple of months to log in to ONLY THAT SITE. I can on CHROME.
