Getting sick of FireFox, I want to search from the GOOGLE SEARCH BAR, not the address bar, but the settings don't work you can choose to have the search bar next to the address bar, but it doesn't work, the google search bar doesn't work either, no matter what setting, your search ends up in the address bar, with all the updates, they don't fix crap on here, when someone makes a complaint, FIX THE CRAP, I don't need to ask 100 people why it wont work, just FIX IT!!

I'm on Facebook, only browser open is Fire Fox, FB freezes up and I get this "Page is slowing down Firefox, press STOP." to spped it up, what Page? I'm only on one page and its Face Book, get this when I'm on other sites too, and Other Browsers don't do this crap. Only fire fox does.

El problema empezó el 10 de mayo, al querer continuar viendo una serie (en streaming), al ponerlo en pantalla completa aparece un marco alrededor del video, pero es un marco parcial, y no se quita con nada. Me pase a otra plataforma de streaming y también sucede lo mismo al ponerlo en pantalla completa, probé con una tercera y se repite el mismo problema. Estuve revisando y hubo una actualización ese día durante la madrugada y creo que ahí radica el problema.

Espero me ayuden con el problema y si es un error de la actualización, ojalá sea corregido pronto.

My firefox browser stopped working today. It will not load any website. It just sits there and the dot just goes back and forth. It worked fine yesterday. 3-2-2024. My email is randrcv@sti.net.

Having lots of issues with Firefox at the moment, from the browser taking 5 minutes before my home page will even load to this issue which is making me second guess using this browser and i cant seem to find an answer in the help suggestions as im not getting any error codes or anything to point to what is the problem.

When i click on a link - a safe link (even FF states its secure) The new browser tab's link will just constantly cycle loading without loading. Ive tried clearing cache and cookies and it makes no difference.

Ive tried turning off my adblocker and other safety extensions. No difference.

Now yes i am running an old system, but i checked to see if Firefox works on it and it does ( Windows8.1) i started using this as chrome is no longer supported on there.

• Firefox 110.0 (64-bit) (recent update from Firefox 109.0.1)
• Dell XPS desktop computer -NO CHANGE-
• Windows 8.1 -NO CHANGE-
• Other hardware and software -NO CHANGE-

From the Menu Bar, clicking the "Bookmarks" tab causes Firefox to list my bookmark folders and individual bookmarks along the left side of my screen. -NO CHANGE-

My list of saved bookmarks is large, and extends below the PC screen. I must therefore initially scroll to the bookmark I am interested in. I group bookmarks and frequently want to go to grouped bookmarks, one after the other. -NO CHANGE-

In previous Firefox versions (say 109.0.1), when I first scrolled down and selected a bookmark and went to that website, the NEXT time I clicked on the Bookmarks tab, the list would be at the last bookmark selected. (See Figure 1.) -PREVIOUS BEHAVIOR-

Now, with Firefox 110.0, the list of bookmarks always starts at the top (see Figure 2), meaning I have to manually scroll all the way down to the bookmark(s) I am interested in every time. -CHANGE-

This is inconvenient and annoying.

Is there a setting to control this behavior? If not, I am going to remove Firefox 110.0 and re-install 109.0.1 (if possible). (Please do NOT tell me this is the fault of using Windows 8.1. That excuse would be unacceptable.)

For approximately three days now, I can't play any YouTube videos. I just get the spinning icon and suggestion to restart but it never resolves. I have tried a couple things but am currently not all that savvy and just want them to work! They will play fine in Opera, but I hate switching browsers just for that site.

I've purchased a new computer and I'm wondering how to transfer all my bookmarks to the new one. WIll they automatically transfer when I install Firefox in the new device when it recognizes my email

I tried to follow these Instructions How to remove this adware

1  Run the browser on your PC and go to its Settings (the three dots or three horizontal lines in the menu) 
2   Expand the Privacy and Security options, in the left panel.  
3   Access Site Settings in the menu that opens.
4   In the provided list, identify the adware by its name. 
5   Click on it.
6  Set Notifications, Pop-ups and ads to Block.

These instructions do not correlate to Fox Browser -- How can I get rid of this pop-up on Fox Browser? Any Suggestions? I am running Windows 8.1 and Windows Defender does not seem to find this Adware. Is there a way to find it? By the way, "There is no 'Click Allow' to click . . . . ."

I had my Mozilla homepage set to where a new page would open when I clicked on one of my shortcuts. Now its just opening the page right on my homepage instead of a new tab. I can't figure out how to fix this on my laptop. ALSO- my "Recent Activity" is displaying on my homepage and I don't want that. How do I stop that?

When I scroll to the bottom of my news feed on Facebook, the page scrolls by it's self, I'm NOT touching anything and the page scrolls up and down. been that way for a month now 8-16-22

For the love of God, can someone explain who thought it was a good idea to remove the option to sort bookmarks menus by name? Please do not suggest users to open the All bookmarks and using the View > Sort option because it's not permanent, such useless option only applies temporarily while that window is open.

What version must I downgrade to in order to recover the bookmarks sort by name? Because of course the option won't be recovered. Kindly explain who, and why did you decide it was very useful for the end user to delete this option.

Lately play buttons haven't been working, it may have started with the latest update. It works on YouTube videos but I can't start a trailer on IMDB or play a song on Bandcamp, and lots of other sites aren't working. Firefox 111.0 64-bit and Windows 8.1
