.: Hello. A couple of days ago Firefox stopped displaying thumbnails of YouTube videos. I tried YouTube on other browsers and the thumbnails appeared as usual. On Firefox, they've disappeared, but only on my Windows 10 computer. The YouTube thumbnails appear on Firefox on my MacBook. The attached graphic shows what it looks like on my Win 10 computer.

Any ideas on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. I have also searched the Internet and YouTube for a solution, but was unable to find one that works.

Using your browser as my default and going to https://bracingviews.substack.com/p/yes-its-about-the-oil, https://jonathancook.substack.com/p/western-elites-fear-a-globalised and https://georgehazim.substack.com/p/murdochs-australian-manufacturing, regular sites where I comment often, since Thursday there's no visible button to post my comment. Never encountered that before.

Using another browser, I can comment in Jonathan Cook and George Hazim's Blog but not in Bracing Views

Since the last update, Gmail has not been working correctly on Firefox. All of the buttons to the left of inbox emails that enable you to move, categorize, file, etc your emails have disappeared. I have tested my Gmail account on Chrome, Edge and DuckDuckGo browsers, and everything displays correctly. Please help. An image of the missing buttons is attached (well, since there aren't there, you're seeing a blank area of gray to the immediate left of my inbox [or any other folder] emails). When attempting to access the Twitch website in normal browsing mode, the page does not load properly. Instead of the site rendering, I only see a black screen with an infinite loading spinner.

This issue does not occur in private browsing mode (incognito), Twitch loads normally there.

I found that performing a browser reset temporarily resolves the issue, but after some time the problem returns. Continuously resetting the browser is not a practical solution.

Additional details:

   Browser version: 141

   Steps to reproduce:

       Open Firefox in normal mode

       Navigate to https://twitch.tv

       Observe black screen with loading spinner

   Expected result: Twitch should load normally

   Actual result: Page remains blank with a loading spinner

   Private browsing mode works correctly

Please advise on a permanent fix or steps to diagnose this issue.

Hi,

I am trying to use the website Jpay to connect with a loved one in prison. When accessing jpay's website I am prompted to enter my username and password in order to access the account. I enter the correct information- select login and the page will attempt to load and redirect me to the next page, but unfortunately nothing happens. The page will flash and prompt me to enter the username and password again. I am able to login into my Jpay account using safari, edge, and chrome however those browsers are no longer compatible with the jpay server for video visits. To add- I have purposely input incorrect details and when the page redirects it advises that I have input the incorrect username and password. Lastly, I have tried using several devices that range from a laptop, two different iphone, an ipad and an android tablet, the issue remains the same firefox will not redirect beyond the login screen. I have contacted jpay directly and there is nothing they can do. Please provide any advice on how to fix this issue. It appears to be on the back end. I have attached two snips. One showing i entered my information and clicked login. The next shows my username and password has disappeared after the failed load/ redirect. Thanks!

I can't log in to certain sites even though they've been on my favourites list for years, i.e. bank account and grocery shopping. I can log in to them using Edge , so what's gone wrong with Firefox. Is the latest updates to blame ???

I am finding that occasionally using Firefox on Windows 10, that the Facebook page stops and wont let me open or upload files and AOL mail disappears although the site is open. If I go to using MS Edge both sites are OK.

I love Firefox but may have to stop using it as my default.

I can't open my Gmail in Firefox, my profile in Google Account on the top right Gmail is missing. When I click on this the the account box comes up with the blue line continious running? When I click to open my Gmail the yellow loading box comes on top middle of Gmail

Hi I keep getting this error on Firefox. I did disable all my extensions prior to this image shown to see if it was an extension causing an issue to no avail. I also looked for an update for Firefox and saw it was up to date. I also attempted to refresh Firefox which was a successful refresh however the error persisted. After refreshing I fully uninstalled Firefox and then reinstalled however the issue persists.

This error is shown however if I refresh the page sometimes the page freezes as if it lost connection and sometimes it reloads as per normal with the video playable.

Since v.145, comments have been blocked on some forums for me. https://thetyee.ca is one I use regularly, and the comments are blocked. (This is a Coral Comment site.) The spinning wheel just spins (see image 2 below) and sometimes resolves as "blocked" (see image 1 below).

On rare occasions if I delete all cookies, restart the PC and the browser in a private window only, I can sometimes get comments to come up with a "login page" that successfully lets me login, and keeps the link open for a few pages for that session only, but when I open a new session, comments are blocked again. They just don't appear. when I am successful, it looks like image 3 below.

I never adjust settings, and only occasionally delete cookies, so I've looked into other help articles in the forum that have pointed out enhanced tracker protection might be a problem: I have whitelisted all the sites I use for ETP but only one or two now sometimes work properly (using disqus) while the others do not. Tyee support is unable to help - they say very few have made any complaints.

There are other sites that limit my access or functionality now because they say "You have an ad blocker installed". I don't have an adblocker installed. I've never installed an adblocker. But that's secondary. Perhaps if we get this issue solved (due to a setting?), that second issue will go away too. Or maybe not.

I see it's simply not possible to get rid of ETP. Do I have to get rid of Firefox?

Still unable to connect to Facebook.com, all other websites are fine. Have uninstalled and reinstalled twice and still, it only shows me a page stating " Sorry. something went wrong:( " . I am able to login on other devices without any issues and am able to login on this device if i use a different browser. Whilst in trouble shooting mode, i am still Unable to access Facebook.

bonjour, quand j'utilise Firefox pour consulter mon compte bancaire, les pages ne s'affichent plus maintenant, alors qu'il y a plusieurs mois elles s'affichaient. Je n'ai pas ce problème si j'utilise "Chrome" ! Merci de m'expliquer pourquoi cette fonction ne "marche" plus. Quand j'utilise "Firefox", j'aimerais bien que cela se fasse totalement en Français !!! I'm not sure why, but starting a couple of days ago Firefox will not load a couple (there may be others) of my regularly used sites - the page just 'hangs' or only partially loads:

facebook.com theguardian.com

These are on my Windows 11 PC which I use 95% of the time. They load fine on my Windows 10 laptop which has the identical Firefox settings (they are Synced) with the same Extensions.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox on my PC to see if this helps, but the issue remains.

The websites load fine using Chrome on my PC.

Can anyone offer any thoughts as to why this is happeneing and offer any solutions?

I’m running into a performance issue specifically on Firefox that I can't replicate in Chromium browsers.

On my site https://snippingtoolshortcuts.com/, the layout and text load fine, but the scrolling performance feels "heavy" or jittery on Firefox (Version 133+). When I test the same page in Chrome or Edge, the smooth-scrolling and hover effects on the shortcut tables are perfectly fluid.

I’ve tried:

Testing in Troubleshoot Mode (Add-ons disabled).

Disabling hardware acceleration.

Checking the "Network" tab for slow-loading scripts (everything seems green).

Are there known issues with Firefox's handling of large CSS tables or specific grid layouts that might cause this? I'd appreciate if someone could check the URL on their end to see if it’s a global rendering issue or just something with my local profile.
