How can I disable the two factor identification at log in? It's driving me mad. I am 87 years old and don't know how to disable this, Can you help please>

I have had a Yahoo Account since early 2000's until my home network was compromised and they locked me out of all my accounts back in 2021. I waited until the end of 2022 or begining 2023 and contacted firefox support via 3rd party who was able to unlock my account once i signed up for a subscription. well that phone was lost and along with access to [" [edited] @YAHOO.COM & ph# ([edited] [edited] associated with the account "] and would like assistance getting back in.

Hello! I tried adding two-step authentication to my account, but every time i try to do it and enter the code from the app there is a "Incorrect two-step authentication code" message, despite checking it and retrying multiple times. I am using the google authenticator app.

I want to be receiving notification like when I reset my password I don't receive the code of resetting a password you know okay a lot like signing in receiving a notification

I want to reset the password from another platform but I'm not receiving there resetting code that's the problem I try to sign using my password but the password refuse to be signed so I want to reset that password but I'm not receiving there notification code

I have looked in my email for the code to sync my devices and there is no code, what is the authentification App I do not have that on my computer for the longest while I have been unsuccessful in pairing because I can't find code and that has been quite frustrating for me.

I have "Open tabs in links instead of new windows" checked.

I have no plug-ins that would cause this.

I have experimented with the various, conflicting "about:config" directions given online. (Nothing works, so I have reset about:config to default.)

• It is also worth noting the Firefox Support page is immune to its own Dark mode. WHY.

I am going to switch to Opera, since it has none of these problems.

Before commenting or responding on this post, make sure you actually READ IT first. I am so tired of these online MANSPLAINERS being all, "Go to about:config and do blah-blah-blah," or, "This is what you do: Go to Settings > General > Tabs > make sure you check the box that says "Open tabs in links instead of new windows."

Seriously, way too many people online are like customer support agents on the phone: "Try unplugging it and wait 15 seconds, then plug it back in; try closing it and restarting it."

If anyone has any real solution, I'd greatly appreciate it.

How do i set fire fox to know and sent verification that this computer is the one i have log in to the site before i keep having to verifier it is me every time i log in to the site

Hello, On March 1, I worked with the Mozilla help team to create a recovery key. Now that I need it, it says it is an MS Dos executable file, and that I can't run that file on my computer. I have tried a few workarounds from google, but really I just need my recovery key. I thought maybe this was because wordpress is no longer available on Windows PCs but I can't open it in word either, it just keeps saying it's an MS Dos executable file.

I really need the recovery key because I can't access anything on one of my computers. Can you assist?

To set up a Passkey, it says to enter a pin, which it then says I can find and change in Settings. I can't find any of it because my Mozilla account, even though I'm not doing anything, says it has timed out. Please help me locate my PIN. Thank you

I recently bought a new laptop and am trying to sink my current mozilla browser with the new computer. However I can't seem to get an authentication code and don't know where/if I saved Mozilla backup codes. please help1
