Hi, I have a problem with Youtube playback on my machine. Sometimes videos are playing and skipping few seconds, sometimes stopping/hanging and using a lot of CPU (I can hear CPU fan ramping up). It mostly happens when I play videos at 1080p and up. Sometimes video can start playing, then skip few seconds, play few more seconds and hang, sometimes after refresh it works fine, another time it works for like a minute and then again hangs/skips. I had this problem on FF 89, I've updated to 11x, still persisted, now I have FF 125.0.3 (64 bit). Things that i've tried: - enabling/disabling hardware acceleration in FF - enabling/disabling gpu hardware acceleration in Windows - changing some settings in about:config (fe. media.wmf.zero-copy-nv12-texture to false and gfx.direct3d11.reuse-decoder-device to false, and few more) - disabling and deleting addons

PC specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, Asus Tuf X570, GeForce RTX 3070 (latest drivers), Windows 10 22H2

Hello, Today I tried to upload some images to a seller on eBay, and consistently got the popup pictured below. I've never seen, heard of or had this issue before and searching for it comes up with nothing useful.

Any ideas? Using Firefox 115.13.0esr (64-bit)

There is a message at the top of my application menu informing me account has been discontinued, with an amber alert icon. I am able to use my browser, My ISP provider informs me that everything looks secure. All security scans are fine. Is this some sort of scam. ISP provider tech informed me it was possible it could be an intrusion attempting to download data from my computer.

Hello. The latest update of FireFox 129.0.2 still has intermittent crashes. Sometimes I can't access my Google searches or links in emails don't work, then it works, then it starts to malfunction again. I have to restart my PC. Could you release a patch that works as well as before FireFox 129.0? On the other hand, Canal+ works perfectly Thanks. Kind regards.

2ndly its hard to get in touch with your crap support line can you also make it easier to get hold of your team rather going through 1000x pages, why is everybody not keeping any proper contact information you and google are same [edited]. exceptionally down the drain support. I don't want my search queries to be saved in the firefox search bar. I usually open a new tab with Ctrl+T, hit Ctrl+K to go to the search bar and hit enter without any keywords. This opens the search engine page (in my case google.com)

Now hitting enter with an empty search bar does nothing. Started happening with the new version 128.

Is there a shortcut alternative to opening the search engine in a new tab?

Starting today, amazon web pages are not updating correctly. The amazon web page appears normal till I sign in, then it doesn't update "cart" contents or show account holders name or list any "Lists" when accessing account saved lists. I have deleted entire history, and all cookies and caches X 3. I Rebooted computer along with a "system command control reset" and still the pages are not loading correctly. Short of reinstalling "Firefox" what more can I do? Are there any "Preference" files or files with specific extensions I can delete? Thank you. Gerard

I was working on strengthening my passwords using firefox as my browser and roboform. I had a us bank site open also at the time. I did not change that user id or password. However, ever since then I am unable to sign in to my us bank site. It brings up the site but as soon as I click to sign in, it greys the screen. I am able to sign in to every other site I have tried on the firefox browser. I am also able to sign in to my us bank site on at least two other browsers without issue. What has happened and how can I fix firefox to allow me to use it? The us bank site is not an app. Thank you.

Setup: Laptop with integrated Intel UHD 630, dedicated Nvidia RTX 2060 External Monitor connected via USB-C -> rendered through Nvidia card

Issue: Yesterday i disabled my laptop display in the windows settings as i only need my monitor. This resulted in laggish scrolling behaviour in Firefox. Not always but mostly a delay of ~100-300ms. Scrolling up/down fast doesn't really scroll, it just jumps with said delay. It happens on touchpad or mouse (mx master s3). If i enable the main display (extended) everything is fine.

Checked so far:

• All input-related add-ons, apps (Logi Options+, xmouse button control, ...) are disabled or off
• A reset or reinstall of Firefox doesn't help
• Drivers are up to date
• Changing the graphics performance preference (accelerated, energy saving) in the windows settings doesn't effect the behaviour
• Smooth Scrolling is off

Any idea what's the matter?

On several site there's a greyed out box top right, which disables anything it covers, can't be got rid of, and makes using Firefox for these sites impossible. Help, please?? Thank you! (I'm having to use Chrome...)

Today, a white bar about 1 inch wide is at the top of my screen blocking the tool bar and access to other info. How do i remove it?

I have restarted my computer and closed the browser. Still there.

Once again, Firefox is blocking my ability to go into X (Twitter). I'm guessing you guys did an update and changed the settings again. PLEASE FIX. Thank you.

Helo team, I think I hit some key and firefox settings changed. I see squiggly characters in menu options, bookmarks etc.. Web pages load all right. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling. It did not help. Please see attached screenshots. I use a Mac M1 mini.

As Firefox no longer supports windows 8, I have downloaded and installed Firefox ESR 64-bit. I can open my banking site but the site does not show a log in button. I had no trouble with this site last week. I can access my log in details on my mobile. Can this be fixed

Today, it started.

When I open sites that I am subscribed to, a small gray-shaded nearly transparent rectangular window appears in the upper right of the screen (see attached screen capture), and it blocks access to login and search, thus rendering the site inoperable. The latest site rendered inoperable is Amazon shopping, so this is not a minor thing. I can no longer retain Firefox as my default browser.

No other browser on my Mac does this; the earlier version of Firefox active last night did not do so either. What is the purpose of this gray-shaded window? It makes the latest browser appear to be infected with malware.

Running OSX 10.13.6 on a mid 2012 Macbook Pro.

It looks like firefox recently updated with new privacy features (great!) What's not so great is that now it forces me to log into gmail each time I open a new browser window (not great). I have several different accounts that regularly use so this isn't ideal.

I've tried adding both gmail.com and google.com as exceptions under the cookie settings (didn't work). I even went and turned off the "enhanced tracking protection" on every step of the gmail login page and my inbox. Still kicks me out once I open a new browser. Any help to remedy this problem would be great.

Rootsmagic.com has a "Chat" button on the lower right corner of it's screens. Except I can't see it; Firefox seems to be blocking it. (At least that's what the Rootsmagic tech support people have suggested.) What do you have to say? Every time Firefox updates it keeps re-enabling settings on its own.

Specifically 2 settings on the general tab keep enabling themselves in the "browsing" section, "Recommend extensions as you browse" and "Recommend features as you browse"

I have disabled these settings dozens of times now, and every time Firefox updates it keeps re-enabling these 2 settings on its own.

Just now I updated to v128.0 and these 2 settings turned themselves on again.

Why is Firefox not respecting my settings? Why is Firefox allowed to modify my settings without my permission?

I have deleted and reinstalled Firefox already. I don't use profiles and am not signed into the browser, so no settings are getting carried over that way.

I noticed that the status bar on firefox shows the same text as the on-page text. It doesn't render the unicode url in full. I tried finding a bug describing this, but couldn't find one.
