Clicking on a link opens in a new tab (which it should) but then nothing happens in that tab. Right clicking on the link and choosing open in a new tab works just fine.

Startup window Firefox can not remember the window size. Have already tried many things. E.g. start without add-ons. On the PC all windows in all other programs work without any problems. Where can I set the window size fix?

Hi, recently I've been seeing a repeated problem where instead of having everything logged in and ready to go on many websites, somehow ALL of my logins get deleted, as if they never even existed. This is really troublesome because I have multiple google accounts and they have to be logged in in a specific order so that certain links actually go to the right account. This has happened twice now, the first time I thought it was one time weird occurrence, but now that it happened again, I want to know what the problem is and fix it. So I want to know, is anyone else having this problem? I know some websites log you out after some time, but really there are many where it should stay, like YouTube, Twitter, Reddit. Luckily, logins seem to be the only thing affected as bookmarks and browser history seem to be unaffected.

I am not getting the Captcha screen to login to websites. I have cleared my cookies & cache and still can not log in because I do not get the captcha screen. Please help, I am not a tech person at all.

Hi Since the most recent update I can no longer log into my barclaycard website, the site goes through the three security steps, then I get a message saying there has been a system error. I can log on using firefox android with no problem and also chrome works fine on windows and android. I'm using the latest x64 firefox build. I have tried safe mode, uninstalling and deleting all firefox settings, but it still refuses to log on to this site. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Regards Rob

I have ran three antivirus said PC is clean, scan disk defrag done. I went through all settings nothing I saw looked wrong. I don't know what is going on I just know these last 5 days have been pure hell. I cleared cookies and site information, and reset passwords and I even went to sites to see what they suggested. Nothing worked. I tried Private Mode too. and a different browser. I know a few sites do work password wise. But sites like the bank and the credit cards don't no matter what i do. I am so fed up I am about to order this windows 10 pro disk and reformat. This is a Dell computer and i wish I never bought this thing. It is a little over a year old. If I decide to buy another PC it's gonna be from scratch. I hate Dell as soon as all the perks expired I have done nothing but fix this thing.

FF frequently fails to restore tabs losing all my previous work before I've finished. It's very annoying and frustrating. In search help the answer is not simple to understand. Please tell me, what is sessionstore and where can it be found? Why is there not a button to fix this problem? If sessionstore gets corrupted frequently as mine seems to (according to the answer) why not have a sessionstore back-up and a routine to correct the problem or at least easily recover from the corruption?

When Firefox upgraded the browser a few days ago, I lost the google email "pclaincz@gmail.com. My other google email is fine. (plaincz2437@gmail.com). I tried to recover it but the original password is not "valid." Any help I could get to recover this second email would be appreciated.

I have used Firefox as my default browser for years and I've been very happy with it. Now it seems as though I'm almost being "pushed" into using Edge with Windows 10. What I need is some encouragement to continue to use Firefox. That means I need some very good reasons to keep using Firefox instead switching to Edge as my default browser.

Having said that I just tried to italicize the word "pushed" in the paragraph above and it did not work. Then I tried to make it bold and that didn't work either. Does anyone know the answer to either of these questions?

Last question. Is it possible to get Google out of my life?? Everywhere I turn it's Google, Google, Google ....

Hello you smart people at Mozilla or others, When opening a page on ebay, after signing in to review my purchases, the page displays correctly when clicking further to open the link to review an item or to contact the seller the page is completely distorted and improperly presented. Thinking it was the site I connected with Chrome which loads it perfectly. So it must be a problem with Firefox browser.

When I try to save a subset of a website for a login it deletes the part after *.com.

This is what it should be: https://www.xyz.com/roundcube/

But it only saves: https://www.xyz.com

So I can't save the location, along with my user name and password so that it works.

How can I make 86.0.1 allow me to save the correct address in the "Logins and Passwords" section?

When I mistakenly delete a tab I would like to me able to restore it. If it does not already exist, it could be added to the Firefox menu. When I have many tabs open, sometimes I would like to open yet another tab and I mistakenly delete the last tab rather than clicking on +. This might be because the + is not bright white and seems a bit gray, or because I have so many tabs open the delete sign X does not appear.

So I ran firefox --headless in the terminal and got this and firefox didn't start. After a couple mins I killed the process and when I start again, Firefox didn't run even in normal mode. I had to restart.

I just switched back to Firefox and found that now when you download a file, you have to click on the little arrow next to the status bar to see the downloaded files.

I much prefer the way Chrome handles this. Whenever you download a file, it automatically shows a bar at the bottom of the screen showing the file progress, so you can immediately take actions like cancelling, or navigating to the file directory.

Is it possible to have Firefox display the downloads window automatically whenever you download a file?

I have noticed in Firefox 86.0.1 64 bit that in the past few days the search results screen has been shifting to the right and not centered. I have noticed this as well on my wife's laptop. I have refreshed Firefox on my HP desktop and her HP laptop and it still happens intermittently. When it does this the only way to correct this is to restart Firefox. We both have Windows 10 Home Version 20H2 Installed on ‎2/‎24/‎2021 OS build 19042.868. I was wondering if this is a known bug and if anyone else is seeing this.
