Our printers are added from a print server. FireFox is showing the full printer server path as the printer name. This is not good. Why is this happening? I have tried clearing the printer settings and re-adding the printers but this did not fix the issue.

It turns out that the user must zoom out the page until the date emerges, right where it is supposed to be. Apparently, not necessarily the same for everybody. In my case, from 100% to 80%.

But I still don't think there is a consensus whether the cause it is the website, the browser, or both. Nor is there a suggested fix except for this workaround.

I accidentally deleted gmail.com from my web history and now i have to type it fully every single time. it's annoying! how do i recover it from saved websites?

Hello. I don't know which Firefox release broke this essential feature. The problem started after I enabled Aero in my Windows 7 system. It happens often if I have an open tab with https://www.o2tv.cz/ which uses some DRM to play TV content.

Each time Firefox is refreshed, I must re-install extensions. How can I save the extensions so they do not need to be downloaded and re-installed ever time Firefox refreshes?

Hi: I've used Firefox for years without trouble and I've even given money! However, I think the last update has prevented my banking site from operating correctly. In Bill payment you choose who you want to pay and fill in the amount. This still works. I move to the month, day, year boxes. If I click, say, on the month box I get a dropdown but selecting the month nothing happens. Ditto with day and year. The day box shows 1 and the year shows 202 and nothing changes when using the drop downs. Can't manually fill in the boxes. At first I thought it was my bank but they said there were no reported problems - they would! So tried Brave and Edge. Both worked perfectly. Tried it on my laptop rather than desktop and same problem using Firefox showed up. I hadn't fiddled with any Firefox settings. What to do? Thanks Donald

When I modify my website, the updated version shows fine in CHROME and EDGE but shows my old version in Firefox. I cleared browser cache, hit reload numerous times, relogged, all the usual things I could think of.

Have any helpful info?

Seems like after installing the latest update Firefox will not allow Amazon to function or display properly after signing in to Amazon. I can sign in using any other browser with no issue. When I sign in on Firefox the screen goes greyed out with no functionality capable. Nothing can be selected and in the background the display won't load correctly.

I am a 25 year user of firefox and this is the worst it has been 100.0 On more and more sites Firefox fails to work on forms and certain web pages.

forms dont show up forms dont execute once complete certain website actions dont work

my belief is these are special scripts and not the basic website display, but I am having to switch to chrome more and more to acomplish my daily activities.

I have updated recently to 100 and I find it hard to believe I have these problems.

I'm uploading changed webpages to the internet on a daily basis, using Firefox. I'm Using Firefox version 100.0 now and I have discoverd a problem with version 100.0 . From Firefox version 99.01 and downwards, this problem never existed before. The refresh button in Firefox 100.0 ( Ctrl+R ) no longer works good anymore! Sometimes it works good, the other time it's not working correct anymore, you will not see the latest uploaded webpage on the internet. The only solution to this problem is bij closing Firefox and restarting it. Only then you will see the latest uploaded webpage on the internet. Please have a serious look at this annoying problem in version 100.0. This problem can only be discoverd by people who are uploading new webpages to the internet, not bij the regular internet-users/visitors.

The 100 release of Firefox turned half of my desktop web site shortcut icons to PDF icons. Why? And why only some? I have some URL shortcuts that I have no control over the icon (no change icon selection under properties). How do I get these changed back, other than redoing all the changed ones? Thanks, Wayne

Recently got a new PC with Windows 11 and since I downloaded Firefox the shortcut of CTRL+Shift+O will not open the bookmark manager. Does the same on Opera GX and Chrome. Not sure if I did something wrong in the PC settings but nothing I've tried has fixed the problem

When FF on my Windows 10 machine crashed FF asked if I wanted to refresh FF. I said yes, and FF reopened as usual with all my tabs. After I closed and reopened FF the next time, it reopened without any of my tabs. I then discovered that FF had unchecked the “Startup Open previous windows and tabs” box, which I had previously religiously monitored to be sure it was checked. So I lost all my previous tabs.

In my sessionstore-backups folder I found the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 as last in a list of three more recent file names. I then dropped the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 in the scrounger tool on this site: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html. It expanded in the big window, and when I clicked on Save uncompressed JSON as text, I see all the URLs run together in a text file.

How can I use this information to recover my tabs, please? If so, how? Or is there a better way to use the Scrounger – or another – tool?

Otherwise if I delete the three more recent file names in the list above the upgrade.jsonlz4-20 file, and restart FF will I recover the missing tabs? If so would I the check or uncheck the Startup Open previous windows and tabs box?

Lastly, can I restore my missing tabs using Windows’ “System restore” tool from 3 days before the crash?

All of a sudden, Twitter will not let me log in on Firefox (Windows 11 laptop). It works on my phone, tablet, and other browsers. When I try to log into Twitter on Firefox, I get an error saying "Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later. " I have already tried updating the browser, clearing my cache, and clearing my cookies and I'm still having the issue. What can I do to fix this?
