Dear Sir/Madam I am unable to reach Jiohotstar website since last three days. The same site is accessible through Microsoft Edge and Chrome browsers. I also tried through Firefox browser on a different machine but could not succeed. I have cleared all the cookies and cache as well but it was of no use. Firefox is running with the latest version. I'm trying to access my https://mypay.dfas.mil account, but, though previously all was well, now an error message tells me that you "can't connect to the server".

I have a network connection, but apparently Firefox may no longer have "permission to access to the web". I'm sure this is wrong because I can still access pretty much everything in the normal way, including other government sites, such as Social Security, using the Login.gov portal, though mypay is not listed as 'connected.'

What happened, and how do I fix it? Also, the error message says that I should "Check that Firefox has permission". How do I do that?

I just purchased a year subscription for the Mozilla VPN. I want to be able to verify that the FireFox browser I'm using is accessing the web via the VPN. How do I verify that? I don't see any icon indicated that it's a VPN connection.

I like firefox...used it two to three times a week for over ten years...Now when I click on the icon on my menu, I am greeted by the ansurb: "That doesn't look right." When I try to download Firefox, it will not down load...why are you idiots doing this to your own product?

I have Express VPN and use Firefox as my default browser. This morning I cancelled the autorenewal of Macafe and uninstalled it from my HP Laptop. Now I cannot access the internet if the VPN is activated - using Firefox or Edge. Thank you

My home setup is such that I use PiHole for DNS (dual PiHoles). This includes doing DNS for my local network as well as black-hole for a bunch of Ad-serving domains. To get this to work with Firefox, I've gone through all the settings to turn off DNS over HTTPS (DoH). The documentation on this is in a multitude of places, and seems to have a lot of "this setting doesn't exist anymore" pointers, but I get it working... sort of.

Every few months (maybe every time Firefox updates?) Firefox stops seeing my local network names and starts showing ALL THE ADS. I go back through and LOOK AT THE SETTINGS (which ARE still set), but after LOOKING at the settings, it starts working as expected again for another however long. This has come to the point where I've stopped bothering to open Firefox when I need to get to my own network resources. DoH is already hard enough to turn off, but having to look it up every few months to "check" the settings so it's REALLY off is very difficult.

This has been going on for at least 8 months, and I'm only bothering to mention it now because I've noticed that I'm changing my habits, Goocrosoftle is winning.

So, MAYBE I'm still missing something. Half the articles point to settings that don't exist anymore, so maybe there's one more thing that will make this actually stick. Everything leading to the search HERE on this topic talks as if Firefox is still using the local machine's DNS, and that has not been the default for quite some time. Either way just adding my "inside." domain to the localdomains setting will not fix this problem.

Why does microsoft keep blocking Firefox when I want to go to a web page.....says "no access" I have an HP computer and it was built by Best Buy and I had to get outlook email when the computer was built. I have been with Mozilla Firefox since around 2006 I think. When I had my first little Mac. I think I donate too every month to Mozilla also. Microsoft edge haunts me. I have a secure private network on my CPU. Why does Firefox not allow my secure websites to remember this browser? The website gives me the option "Recognize this browser." I check that box. But it is a vicious cycle. There is such a thing as too much protection. This makes it time consuming to access my accounts, requiring a cell phone and code to access accounts. Please advise.

For two days I have been unable to access the internet using my default Mozilla Firefox browser. I have used Mozilla as my default browser for many years with no problems, but have had to use alternative browsers not only to access my emails on Outlook, as well as other nominal sites, but even to sign into my Mozilla account, I had to use Microsoft Edge browser. I have made no changes to my settings or internet security. Please advise. Thankyou
