When trying to click on links inside PDFs, the url is changed to undefined, producing an error message. For example, a Hostgator article is converted from https://hostgator.com/help/article/how-do-i-change-my-dns-or-name-servers to https://undefined/help/article/how-do-i-change-my-dns-or-name-servers

I have tried clearing the cache, troubleshooting, and get the same result in safe mode, and reverting back to Firefox default settings. And I still get the same result. I've attached an image of the error message.

For the past few days, when I try to log on to PlayStation on Firefox, the sign-in page sits on a loading swirl after inputting email. There's a clear memory leak shown on Task Manager. The menu bar's right-click doesn't draw properly. FF can't be closed and needs to be terminated. The only extension I have is uBlock Origin disabled for this site.

This website works on Edge.

When I download a file before I even have a chance to save or open the file Firefox downloads the file and puts it on my desktop. I have to look at lots of .pdf files and this a bit annoying as I have to keep deleting all the files I dont want. The dialog box opens and I always choose open rather than save but Firefox has already saved a copy to my desktop. How can I stop this autosave please ? Cheers.

I use the IRS form filler to pay my taxes...have for years with Firefox browser. This year (for 2024 return) when I sign into the site the 1040 form does not display correctly. the boxes are to the right and below the actual placement. I emailed IRS who said it is a setting in Firefox. I tried the site using Microsoft EDGE and it displays correctly. I have searched for possible solutions and tried them all like using/on and off excelerator, letting Firefox chose size and colors of sites, turned off Noton etc. I posted another question here but no replies or looks so maybe I did something wrong so I will try to post again. I have W10 fully updated and Firefox too up to date. I understand I could use Edge but never had to and prefer to use Firefox as I have before. any suggestions would be appreciated or where I can report a possible issue with Firefox. Fire Fox has taken to auto filling my password on my brokerage account. This leaves the account available to anyone that can turn my computer on. I do not have a password saved for the brokerage account and have the company listed to be excluded. This just happened in the last few weeks.

Ever since last Firefox update have been unable to access my DNA matches in my Ancestry program. Are you working on fixing whatever it is that you did to cause this? Heather

I just updated to the latest version of Firefox, and all of a sudden I have a new icon, Extensions, that looks like a puzzle piece, I cant seem to be able to remove it....at all.

I'm new here so please bear with me if I've posted in the wrong place or have missed something obvious.

I running Windows 10, fully updated, on a laptop. I have been using Firefox browser now for many years, suits my needs and avoid's using Goolges Chrome. My Firefox was updated a in the last few days and it shows as up to date on Version 129.0.1 64bit.

I noticed late last night that when opening a fresh window and enter a search term in either the address bar or the Google search bar, my usual choice of search engine, I hit return and nothing happens. Any text I've input disappears totally. Not at all sure what's going on but have found that if I open a new private window Firefow will act as I'd expect without any issues.

I have two other browsers on my laptop, Edge and also Avast's own offering which both work as expected when I enter a search term. Have never experienced this before with the exception of years ago when malware protection wasn't great. It almost seems as though something is just stopping Firefox from searching anything I enter. I can use the bookmarks just fine and then everything works as usual.

Yesterday I thought that maybe following the new windows culmulative updates I was offered and apparently installed just fine, that I needed to restart which a tried and I thought it had cured the issue. Seems that it hasn't and still having the same issue.

Any idea's or thought's on what the cause of this is?

It is a popular retail chain store in Canada. I know the website is up and running because I can connect to it using another PC at home.

How do I check what messages are sent from my FF browser to the website?

And then - what is received at my browser from the website?

BTW - I have cleared the cache and restarted FF - and still cannot connect to it. There are 3 other websites that I have trouble displaying and interacting properly. How do I know this? - Well - I tried the 3 other websites from other PCs within my home network and these websites work properly.

Hello. I suspect there was a cyber attack on April 1 2024. All of a sudden,having problems crashing with more than 1 browser. My Brave browser would open,and then crash with multiple tabs that had been saved. My Mozilla history was cleared,and I want it back because I need to find all sites I have visited from time to time for logins etc,but they are now gone.I have tried importing all of my Brave history,login forms to Firefox,but not sure where to located them or where they would be stored.

I have never had to deal with this sort of thing before so i am saying that i may be somewhat noobish on this.I just want some expert instruction on what to do here,and how to do it.I,m not 100 percent sure if i can do it correctly on my own by googling this myself,then attempting it.Brave continues to open then crash right after,so I dont know whats going on there with the userdata folder in the appdata folders with regard to Brave. Everytime i try to install an older version of Brave,it says i already have a curent version of it,and i dont want to uninstall brave then reinstall it again,or not sure if i should do this. I recently encountered an issue when attempting to login to The Coventry Building Society website using Firefox (desktop PC & Windows 10):- https://www.coventrybuildingsociety.co.uk/ It failed to display the page used to enter the one time passcode used for two factor authentication.

After looking on some forums I discovered this is because 'Strict' tracking protection was enabled. If I change to 'Custom' and uncheck 'Tracking Content' then things work as expected.

I also read on a forum that you can leave tracking protection set to 'Strict' but enter the URL for the problem website under 'Enhanced Tracking Protection -> Manage Exceptions'. I tried entering 'https://www.coventrybuildingsociety.co.uk/' Initially this appeared to work. However, when I tried it again the following day, the page failed to load as before. I had to change back from 'Strict' to 'Custom' and uncheck 'Tracking Content' once again. It's as if the exception URL is ignored in 'Strict' mode.

Am I doing something wrong or is this how it is supposed to work? Do I need to click on the shield icon (to the left of the padlock icon) and turn off 'Enhanced Tracking Protection' every time I visit the website?

Cut /copy and paste, nightmare!!!

what is going on? Cut / copy and paste should be easy, its not. Open a new tab, google homepage, and unable to paste the item I had just copied from another tab, it will only work when I go back to original and recopy? Too time consuming this issue.

Hello, I am running Firefox on a W10-Pro PC. I always click the lock to check certificate validation. In the last month I keep seeing "Connection verified by a certificate issuer that is not recognized by Mozilla".

When I click for more information I see that "Norton Web/Mail Shield" does not recognize the certificate issuer. When I click on Learn More it takes me to a Firefox site "How to disable the Enterprise Roots preference" I also checked W10 certmgr.msc and I see Norton is listed. Images included below. I would love to resolve this issue. Thank you for your time.

Hello, It used to work perfectly now Norton is blocking because at the bottom left of the page protect query.com pops up, don't know how to stop it, hope you can help, regards, Claudine

Hello. Recently I've noticed video quality has been reduced on amazon prime video. I get a message saying my hardware doesn't meet HDCP requirements.

I've already tried playing the same video on edge, and the quality selector was fine there, full HD video.

I recently upgraded FF on this computer and can no longer sign in to my att.net email account, although I was able to sign in on another computer on FF earlier today. I just get an error message and Att can't help...is there a setting that has me locked out? I can also access email on other browsers just not the FF version on this computer.

I am experiencing many times that Firefox prints garbage, not what's on the screen. To get around the problem I switch to Safari.

Is anyone aware of this or I am the only one experiencing it? Is this a known bug?

This has been happening to me with recent updates of Firefox, and I am very close to dumping a browser that I have used for years because of it. I go to load pages and it just sits there and spins and spins. In the time I take to open another browser like Chrome and copy and paste the exact same links into Chrome, where the download of the web page is practically instant. I go back to Firefox and it is still spinning and it is just ridiculous. I have no clue what would be causing this. After it finally loads a page, it seems fine on subsequent loads of pages.
