I have a number of HP iLO connections within my corporate network which I use FF to access so that I can control my servers. These are all HTTPS connections and firmware-… (tuilleadh eolais)

I have a number of HP iLO connections within my corporate network which I use FF to access so that I can control my servers. These are all HTTPS connections and firmware-based and since the servers are now around 5 years old, HP no longer is releasing updates for the iLO.

For most of the iLO connections I'm getting the following error in FF:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to bkp4.systems.aims.my. SSL received a weak ephemeral Diffie-Hellman key in Server Key Exchange handshake message. (Error code: ssl_error_weak_server_ephemeral_dh_key)

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I then have to open up IE to get to the site to do my work and this is very frustrating that I cannot bypass this bug.

I also have supplier portals which we use for our backups and other stuff and I get the same error there and have to use IE to get into those sites.

Is there a fix to this problem or do I have to ditch FF for IE just to get my daily work done??

Bookmarks import hangs, unresponsive script

Firefox goes into non-responding mode when I'm trying to import my HTML backup file of bookmarks. Process takes 25 % of CPU, then an "unresponsive script" message pops up… (tuilleadh eolais)

Firefox goes into non-responding mode when I'm trying to import my HTML backup file of bookmarks. Process takes 25 % of CPU, then an "unresponsive script" message pops up. Pressing Continue, Debug or Stop is useless : the same message pops up a while later. I have to forcibly close Firefox.

Script is chrome://browser/content/places/editBookmarkOverlay.js:1112.

The following measures did not work :

- Disable all extensions.

- Start in Firefox Safe Mode (a different script becomes unresponsive : chrome://browser/content/browser.js:6888).

- Disable Adobe Flash protected mode in Shockwave Flash.

I successfully tried to import this very file in Firefox before reinstalling my PC from scratch (I believe it was in a previous Firefox version). It has been exported from Opera and has around 10 000 bookmarks. I can open it with Firefox and view it in a tab. It's only import into bookmarks that fails.

Starting with version 43.0.0 Firefox started to crash on my machine. With 43.0.0 it happend a few times, but with 43.0.1 it crashes just after startup. I try to send a cr… (tuilleadh eolais)

Starting with version 43.0.0 Firefox started to crash on my machine. With 43.0.0 it happend a few times, but with 43.0.1 it crashes just after startup. I try to send a crash report every time it happens but it says there was a problem sending it. In the submit log it says "Crash report submission failure: Could not establish connection to the server". Because of this I do not have a directory of sumitted crash reports, only one with pending reports.

I have tried reinstalling Firefox twice, reset Firefox so no plugins or addons are installed but it still crashes shortly after startup. Even when it is open long enough for me to exit Firefox it crashes on exit.

I can include a few report ids but as they have not been sent I don't know how much good they will be: ea4782b8-f222-46f3-95a3-620a8b783844, 4cf5165b-3ad4-49c1-8615-6c2665799791, 7ac58778-bc59-44c3-8579-ba4be962a5a8. I do have the .dmp and .extra files for these crashes.

I am running Windows XP.

I'm not sure whether it is incorrectly reporting v.43.0.1 when it is in fact up-to-date, or thinks that v43.0.1 is the latest.

I could presumably download and install the latest version, but I am concerned why Firefox thinks it is up-to-date, when it clearly isn't.

Cannot launch FF versions 43+ because "mozglue.dll is missing" - when it's not

I have been happy with FF v43 until I decided to update to v50. It installed but would not launch, saying "mozglue.dll" was missing. I found on Google that some other us… (tuilleadh eolais)

I have been happy with FF v43 until I decided to update to v50. It installed but would not launch, saying "mozglue.dll" was missing. I found on Google that some other users had the same problem, with some advice that AVG might be the problem. I found the mozglue.dll was in fact in Program Files - and repeated uninstalls and reinstalls of FF v50 with AVG also uninstalled made no difference. I (mistakenly) found that reusing my original install file of v43 then produced the same result - until I discovered that FF was updating my v43 to v47 within seconds of launching. I finally beat FF automatic updating to get to the Option "do not update," so I have a working, albeit old version of Firefox. Any advice would be welcome - while I fiddle with various workarounds of annoying warnings about my FF being out of date and its knock-on affect on add-ons etc. PS: I am very happily (and stubbornly) Windows XP Professional 64-bit sp2, but I suggest it's not my operating system at fault because other sufferers use a variety of OS. every website i visited before i removed my browsing history is being suggested to me by this so called "awesome" bar,

it start with the word visit *****.com

hey dev team, you do understand that when people want to delete their history the main reason is not to visit some of the old websites!

Hi all. I've been using Pale Moon for a good while and I'm thinking about coming back to Firefox. I have the latest version of Firefox installed, and I'm trying to bring my Pale Moon profile over to Firefox. Or at least my history.

MozBackup saves and restores PM profiles just the same as it does FF profiles, as .pcv files. I've tried many times to "restore" a new FF profile from a saved PM .pcv backup. I get an error saying that the selected backup isn't for the selected application -- please see my screen shot. That's true, but if MozBackup treats the two browsers them same and saves both as .pcv, I'd think I'd be able to move my profiles interchangeably?

The most important thing to me is my History in my PM profile. I've done the import/export bookmarks from PM to FF, but that's only bookmarks, not history. And copy/paste the PM profile folder into my Firefox profile folder of course doesn't work.

Is there a tweak to MozBackup that I can do to make this work, that is, "restoring" my PM profile to my FF profile, or is there another way that I can bring my history, if nothing else, from PM to FF?

I was just notified of a Software update 43.0.2 and as I've never had problems before I went ahead and did it but I had to do a system restore to get rid of it and regress to 43.01 to regain any functionality. 43.0.2 allowed me only to open the browser, and open a new tab... as many of those as the heart desired. It wouldn't however allow my home page to open, load any of my bookmarks or go to any destination I manually typed into the address bar.

Hey guys, this started yesterday and it's driving me crazy.

I have already tried the following: Safe Mode, disabling all plugins, updating to latest Firefox version, disabling hardware acceleration, delete Places.sqlite.

Firefox now hangs for 5-10 seconds whenever I try to do something that isn't simple internet browsing but sometimes even then as well, it usually has to do with opening and browsing menus, clicking buttons, mouse over effects/tooltips . I'll use the plugin manager page as an example: whenever I click the drop down menu where you choose whether to activate the plugin, Firefox hangs for 10 seconds. Once that is done, I can open that drop down menu as much as I want but if I attempt to open another drop down menu for a different plugin, it happens again.

This happens both in Firefox 43 and an old version of Nightly that I'm running with a different profile. It doesn't happen in other browsers I have. Any ideas?
