Why is it Chrome you could have three extensions and still have high speed performance of chrome when loading, but when you have three extensions on firefox it loads slow when opening up the browser?

I must have deleted??? my sent messages or moved them to somewhere. But they are ALL gone. where did they go? And most importantly, how do I get them back?

My DSL is Comcast Xfinity & I use Firefox is my browser. I also use MSN.

Hi there, I have been trying to get into a Government site that I have to use and I continually, only from today, get a message saying the Certificate is outdated. What can I do to override this issue? Cheers!

PC / Windows 7 (yes, still) / Firefox 100.0.2 :

Past several months on Firefox, when attempting to access a video either embedded (say, in a news site or YouTube), the download is unusually slow, with such screen notices (attached) appearing.

The "gray bar" across the bottom (which, as I understand it, indicates buffering/caching activity) immediately loads up about .25%, then awaits the video to play . . . and then it sits there and goes through any combination of the attached .jpgs.

Quite often, regardless of how many tabs are open (perhaps a half dozen), the (Not Responding) message will show up, and then it's just wait it out (usually 15-45 seconds).

Any solutions / comments / directions-to-point-me-in?

Its difficult to get help with firefox even though I have been using it for a long time. 1. everyting when I open the browser it tells me that it is not responding. 2. Then once it opend up it tells me that the firefox is already running and that I need to close the old one before the new one can run.. 3. It just seems that the browser with all the updates run slower and slower with each updates.. 4. I find it difficult to get a hander on running firefox...can you help?

I cannot install English GB dictionary for my spell checker. When I click add dictionaries it takes me to a page where I can select Englsih GB as one of the dictionaries available in my locale. It then takes me to the info and remove page for the dictionary but there is no option to install and no pop up to start the download appears.

My Macbook Pro was repaired at the local Apple store. When I got it back, Firefox was closed. When I opened it again, I could not restore my previous session. It has been over a week now. How can I restore the session from before my Macbook Pro was repaired?

Firefox does not play well with how you customize keyboard shortcuts on Mac i.e. Go to System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts.

By default - Move Cursor to Address Bar - Cmd+L Bookmark this Page - Cmd+D

I would like to switch these two shortcuts but there does not seem to be any way. Please help me out.

Our printers are added from a print server. FireFox is showing the full printer server path as the printer name. This is not good. Why is this happening? I have tried clearing the printer settings and re-adding the printers but this did not fix the issue.

I KEEP HITTING ALTERNATIVELY :"dismiss" and "delete from history" but some i have to do it 40 0r 50 times before it stops popping back up

Yesterday when my wife tried searching on her computer within the Amazon site the screen went black. She is able to pull up the Amazon website but when she tries to search for a product the screen goes black. There will be a split second when you can see the search results but then it goes black. I do not see any pop-up blocker warning at the top.This does not happen on other websites.

This is the second time in 4 months I've had this issue. The first time I resolved it by clearing my cache. That isn't working this time. I've looked at the help articles and clearing the cache is there. This is where I found it the first time. Any ideas?

Hello, I just recently restarted my computer. After I did, Firefox asked me to sign in again. I did, but now I'm on a new account without any of my other profiles. This happened once before and I was able to get my old account back, but I forgot how I was able to do that. How can I sign back into my old account?

I am using a new iMac with the latest version of Firefox (100.0.2) Lately when I am reading articles on news sites such as CNN or The Guardian, or on Twitter, when I click on the video the screen goes black and stays black. No video or audio. This is incredibly frustrating. Also, even when I was able to watch videos, the default was that the sound was off. I would like to know how to fix both these issues ASAP!!
