Hello Community,
I would like to start by sharing this screenshot with you as it help gain a better picture with the below info : https://snipboard.io/9z1FVU.jpg
I tried to access this URL (on my computer using Mozilla browser): torproject.org but after quite some time to load I got the error message in the screenshot.
I tried to access the same URL on my phone through the Mozilla app and it worked.
I have experienced the "The connection has timed out" with other websites as well.
Two questions.
1) Since I want to download Tor on my computer, how can I get it to even open up this webpage?
2) How can I prevent future "The connection has timed out" error messages?
I am looking forward to your assistance.
Thank you

My employer uses the G-Suite at work. I use Firefox on my company computer and on my personal computers.
On the afternoon of Jan. 20, I lost access to Google Calendar. It only shows the dates and a crawling blue ribbon, as if it's trying to load my calendar and failing.
I ran some tests with my company computer and my personal laptop. Here's what I found:
Sounds like Google implemented something in Calendar that doesn't get along with Firefox. Has anyone else seen this issue?

I just got a Pi 4b with 8gb. So I picked up SanDisk MicroSD 64 GB with 170Write.
Loaded the Ubuntu Desktop 20.10. It boots in 30 seconds. Wow...
Printer setup was super easy... Had to add Clementine to Play M4A music from itune files.
Ok... Loaded just fine. Plays Great. The Ubuntu 20.10 comes with Firefox 81.0 browser. My favorite Browser. Went out to my Favorite Anime site to play some video. Animefreak.tv
Error loading player: No playable Sources Found
Well the Video Codec plugin not there. Checked the Add-ons Enabled
OpenH264 Video Codec provided by Cisco Systems, Inc.
This plugin is automatically installed by Mozilla to comply with the WebRTC specification and to enable WebRTC calls with devices that require the H.264 video codec. Visit https://www.openh264.org/ to view the codec source code and learn more about the implementation.
! OpenH264 Video Codec provided by Cisco Systems, Inc. will be installed shortly.
So I installed the new version of Firefox 84.0.2 (64-bit). ok. I am using it now. No Video play back in Firefox on Ubuntu 20.10. Same Problem. I turned on the Allow Automatic updates in firefox openH64 Video Codec. Maybe it will update and install. Well I am not holding my breath. Its to bad, because the Pi 4b is just as fast as my Laptop HP envy running win10.
If you can find a fix. I would be grateful.

How is this still a thing? Chrome can open any PDF file correctly. Any PDF file I open in Firefox shows the text as blank spaces, and I get the message "This pdf document might not be displayed correctly". Why? Why do I, with Firefox, need a 3rd party PDF reader? I shouldn't have to. Even Microsoft Edge gets this right.
Back to Chrome, I guess...

Hi Forum Folke,
I keep having issues with Firefox (84.0.2) when trying to make online purchases... the dialog window (PayPal or whatever) that should pop up doesn't. The purchase process stalls because the next step doesn't happen. I have to use Chrome to make the purchase instead. This didn't happen until the last upgrade, now it's a frequent problem. Doesn't happen on all sites or with all vendors, but often enough to be a headache.
Since this is a 64-bit browser, should I be using the 64-bit version of Java, or does it not make any difference? If it does (or might) make a difference, how do I tell FireFox to use the 64-bit version (installed in the programsx86/Java/32-bit directory)?
Thanks for your help!

Cleared the cache Restarted the browser
I saw someone on Reddit posted they were having the same problem 30 minutes ago (2:45 pm EST). However, my calendar opens find on Firefox on my own computer.
Any ideas/solutions? Possibly related to the upgrade to 84.0.2?
Thanks matt

Recently it happened every time I tried to download multiple media on a page. On Firefox "Page Info > Media", I selected a batch of media files, say pictures in .jpg format and clicked "Save As". I was prompted for file folder. After selecting the folder, the batch of media files were not downloaded to the folder. As I exited Firefox, I was prompted whether to stop the downloading. Weeks ago, the selected batch of files would be downloaded immediately as I clicked "Save As". (Environment = Firebox 84.0.2 (64 bites) on Windows 10)

The first time it happened after I had been reading a page for about 10 minutes. I had two other tabs open for the same site and no other non-suspended tabs. I did not have an account on that site.
The second time happened while watching a video on a different site, about 40 minutes in. No other tabs were active. I did have an account for that site, but I was already logged in via cookies.
In both cases I was just reading/watching; there seems to be no user action that triggered it. This makes me think it is not caused by a login request for a site, but by a (malicious) extension or some background process in Firefox.
I do not use Firefox Sync, nor am I signed into a Firefox account.
