My bookmarks disappeared from my Firefox Sync.
The only ones left are the mobile bookmarks. All my desktop bookmarks I had categorized into folders are gone.

When I set my preferences for Firefox on Windows, I always make these two settings: 1.) Options --> General --> [check] Always ask me where to save files 2.) Options --> Security --> [uncheck] Remember logins for sites
Recently, I have noticed that as I move between computers where I use my Firefox sync account, these two settings are being changed without my intervention. I suspect that Firefox sync is responsible.
Even when I set the preferences correctly on one computer (like my laptop), when I go another computer (say, my desktop), the settings have been changed.
This is happening between several Windows computers in which I use the same Firefox sync account. I also use Firebox on Android. However, Settings --> Privacy --> Remember logins is unchecked on Android. I only seem to be experiencing the problem with Firefox sync on Windows computers.
I would really prefer that once I set a preference for Firefox, that it wouldn't change without my intervention.

Recently Firefox always starts in firstrun mode. I have tried various ways to stop this happening. I have: 1. Refreshed Firefox 2. I dont have Zencast, Mcafee or Norton 360. Nothing else on my machine changed. 3. I don't have a user.js file.
I have been using Firefox for years as a developer. Its becoming unusable for me. I can't waste so much time trying to get it to work.

I cleared the cache, removed the history , disabled all add-ons an extensions. Still the same. On Chrome and IE it works ok....

Since FireFox updated itself to 51.0.1 last week I've been getting frequent blue screen crashes with my system rebooting itself, the majority of which occur while reading or replying to emails. Sometimes I'm lucky to finish typing a sentence before a blue screen crash occurs. I've turned off the automatic updates (opting for the "prompt me when updates are available" option. That won't fix the blue screen crashes though. I need to roll Firefox to the previous version to 51.0.1. BTW, I've checked my hard drive with Norton Utilities checkdisk which found and corrected several disk errors. I also de-fragmented my boot drive which was 34% fragmented (obviously I hadn't defragged it in a really long time!). Unfortunately the blue screen message takes up the full screen and flashes past so quickly I don't have time to read it before it vanishes and my system reboots. Since this only occurs while I'm using Firefox, and only started with 51.0.1 the problem almost certainly is being caused by this latest version of Firefox. My guess is that it contains "stuff" in it that isn't compatible with the version of Windows I am using which is why I need to roll back to the previous version.

Pretty much as in my query.Everything works ok,surfing, vid dld,(except for Ant vid dlder) etc,but I can't use the google search box because of the "problem loading page" message which suggests that I have the wrong url for that page..Thing is,I don't know if there was a FFx update in the update of 3 days ago.Never had this problem before in about 6 yrs of using FFx. Downloadhelper for vids works ok though. That's about all really.

This is a recent problem that I haven't had before and none of the answers I've seen have solved my problem. Whenever I try to watch a YouTube video, it buffers for a long time. Sometimes I never get past an ad because it will stop two or three seconds in and the only way I can get it going again is to refresh the page. I have to constantly refresh to hopefully get a five second ad or one that I can skip in order to get to the actual video and when I get there, it starts buffering and at that point it either plays after a minute or two or it doesn't play at all. It does the same thing in safe mode. The only time I'm able to watch videos without this problem is in a private window.
I have uninstalled Firefox two times and refreshed multiple times, but nothing seems to be working. Every other website I get on works fine, but videos don't fully load on any of them. Can some please help me, I've been trying to figure this out for hours and I really don't want to use another browser.

This is about Firefox not from Firefox. Seems to originate from Entrust.net which I never applied for. Trouble started after I downloaded Windows 10 and caught a bunch of trouble from Yahoo, then tried to update Java and got extra sneaky stuff with it. I use Kaspersky, which is apparently sending the message about you and they have taken over my computer trying to fix everything for several hours yesterday and today but still getting the message that Firefox certificate is basically expired. Whatever a certificate is. BTW box with message is still up in the corner, don't know if you can see it.
The requested PHP version is not supported on this server.
I get this answer when I try to open a web page. I have the löatest version of mozilla, windows 10 etc.

After a recent update on my Linux/Ubuntu system, all select > options have a background color of black and the text enlarged to almost double the size (background and text size for the select boxes were not affected). IE, Chrome, and even the edition of Firefox on my wife's computer were not affected and are still showing the options with a proper white background with reduced type size. What gives? The website is bhardin-rps.com. I tried to post a screen shot, but it won't upload.
