Is there any way or an add-on that will allow me to add a simple button to my toolbar that with ONE CLICK triggers the "Show All Bookmarks" command which will open the separate Library window with the list of my bookmarks?

Firefox used to have a Bookmarks button for over a decade since about version 2.7 that disappeared several versions ago and I still find myself missing it. I do no not want to click more than once, dig through some menu or drop down to open it. I don't want to use the keyboard either. I know Firefox has a Library button, but it makes you navigate menus too.

I want a simple ONE CLICK solution.

As you can see in attached GIFs, bookmarks in superior bookmark bar can be moved easily just as should be, but in additional bookmark field they can't be moved at all. I try to move them, but there is no "insert here" line appearing, and after I release my left mouse button it somehow opens the bookmark the cursor was on at the release moment. No matter fullscreen or windowed mode. I have custom "animated Codama" theme and some add-ons like "Midnight Lizard" and "uBlock", but disabling any of them doesn't help. Any ideas?

The following is a screenshot of my Firefox browser. Included is a BULLSHIT "Other Bookmarks" tab that has displaced existing custom bookmarks. This is >NOT< helpful. I want this crap gone, and control of my toolbar returned to ME. How do I remove this tab from the toolbar? And don't tell me it's an upgrade to the browsing experience. If I wanted to group items with a shortcut on the toolbar I would have done so. Note that I already have two groups on the toolbar. I know what I'm about. Give my back my toolbar with the custom bookmarks that >I< require.

Hello everyone, I believe you all are doing great. I am facing issues of bookmarking from last night. whenever I tried to bookmark a website it shows error while the other websites are simply bookmarked. I reinstall the Mozilla and there is no improvement occurred. It creates issue only for ihomedental Guys, kindly help me in solving this issue and also do me a favor kindly check this website is bookmarked in your Mozilla . I used to have Roomy Bookmark App instaled and Im still missing it :( Is there a way to reduce bookmark size to favicons and see the name of it when I hover over it? And not having to fix it after each update? I love Firefox but this one thing is really to improve because I have so many bookmarks its hard to expand the list of it everytime.

Hi everyone! I got two different type of mozilla's account: one professional, another private. Now I'm at home and I would like to enter in my professional mozilla account and see all my professional bookmarks. How could I change mozilla's account without mixing things like bookmarks?

I have bookmarks toolbar and only recently I see this folder has popped up. I can't drag it or nothing. Here is picture. windows 10 firefox 84

I have opted out of the studies then restarted my computer but still have that annoying other bookmarks folder on my bookmarks toolbar. Why won't this annoying uncalled for intrusion go away?

Since the latest update, "Other Bookmarks" has taken up residence where I cannot remove it, so having never seen the folder before I decided to check it. Almost nothing in there is bookmarks. Near every page saved to the "Other Bookmarks" folder is a seemingly random page from my history (deleted and not) up to within a recent few months, which it then becomes my actual primary bookmarks (which I'll have to move, great to know my bookmarks started getting saved to a different folder). Is this meant to serve as an invasive ~highlights from your history~ a la your homepage thumbnails when none are pinned? Or is it some kind of absolutely wacky error with it trying to stuff my history into bookmarks? I'll emphasize just so it's not mistaken, up until the last few pages, every single page saved in "Other Bookmarks" is a random page from my history in chronological order, they are NOT bookmarked and have no reason to be. What causes this and why is this even a thing?

I search for a folder, usually by topic. Perhaps I'm looking for Buicks and find several bookmarks. Now I want to find the folder that it's in to perhaps find more cars. The folder might be CARS, AUTO, VEHICLES or whatever.

How do I search for the FOLDER?

Looking for this solution, I find several answers, none work. The start at the end does not show the folder. There is no way I know of to search for a folder. Help?

I first noticed it when I plugged in my new screen for the first time. It's quite a bit larger than my old one, and I think Firefox doesn't really recognize it.

The specific steps I take to fix it temporarily (per session) are as follows:

Press alt to show the menu bar

Select View > Toolbars > Uncheck Bookmarks Toolbar

Same steps again except to check the Bookmarks Toolbar checkbox again. Then everything is normal.

Interestingly it is never the same amount of bookmarks that aren't shown, always differs by 2 or three before it cuts off and shows just empty space.

By using refresh Firefox to "fix" problems with slowness, I have lost all of my bookmarks and God knows what else. And I can't access the files that were created, all I get is gibberish. Why didn't Firefox inform me that using refresh would fubar ("fouled" up beyond all recognition) my computer? I desperately need to undo the damage caused by using this (dis)service. And how do I contact Firefox to tell them how badly they have screwed me over?

When I want to save a bookmark, I usually go through "choose". It seems to give me folders sometimes only open to the first level, sometimes to second and third levels. This behaviour seems random. I want to see only the top-level folders, it would make saving bookmarks quicker. How to achieve this?

I have the latest version of Firefox operating on Windows 10.

Why do you guys change the show all bookmark shortcut? In next update make it(ctrl+shift+b) the show all bookmark shortcut. At least provide some customization option. I am going to switch if no change comes from your end in the upcoming 2 month period.
