I get this error message and then it shuts down if I don't stop it by deleting it....

“Error while installing” :Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0) Fire Fox then shuts down if I don’t delete it.

Version: 78.15.0esr (64-bit)

The bookmark dropdown submenus won't open any more. I can click Bookmarks>next random menu>next menu and it won't show the bookmarks. To be clear, I am going to a folder bookmark and then a sub-folder bookmark which won't show what is inside this sub-folder.

Any idea why this is happening?

I had to restart my MACOS10.12 and tried to restore Firefox but could not due to new version (91.8) which is unavailable on my MAC. I restored 78.5, however all of my bookmarks have been lost. Can you let me know how I can restore them?

I have 3 emails and it wont allow me to log in to my main one because it doesent recognise my password

They have emailed a number to the email that works but i find it difficult to get back to enable me to put the number in

Cant Play AmazonPrime videos on my mac desktop (its an admittedly old desktop, cant afford a new one just yet. using Firefox 78.15.0esr (64-bit).

Today, when i tried to watch a videos on Amazon Prime, im getting messages that say "WidevineCdm plugin has crashed" when i try to play.

Is it due to discontinued Flash? Are there any solutions??

Within the last 10 days my wife's computer has been denied access to a number of sites via the Firefox browser and she receives the Insecure Connection message. She uses the work around using the Advanced path button. We are confused why without any changes to her machine this is happening. She is on an iMAC using OS version 10.7.5 and Firefox 48.0.2 and accesses the internet through an internal network, she has Airport installed and is connected to my iMAC which has OS 10.9.5 and Firefox 78.13, and has never had any difficulties accessing sites or with Firefox. We're aware that our OS versions are outdated but all our applications work well and so we see no need to update. We'd appreciate any suggestions and thank you for your help. Frank B in Washington state.

I recently updated to 78.10.0 vers and now when I try to play Netflix I get the WidevineCdm crash message and Netflix won't play

I have refreshed Firefox and restarted my Mac several times and disabled the Adobe Shockwave player.

Nothing works.

Can you please help me?

Recently, I've been unable to view paid for video, for example on Netflix. I get the following error message:

The WidevineCdm Plugin has crashed. FATAL Clpp-Error [Category 6 - Code 6002]: {"browserError":""}

I'm using a macOS 10.95 and, says Firefox,:

"Note: The current version of Google Widevine is no longer compatible with older macOS versions such as OS X 10.9 and 10.10. Only macOS versions 10.11 and above are supported."

So my question, since it seems my mac is no longer compatible with Widevine, is whether there a way for me to watch video on Firefox? Perhaps with another plugin? Or no plugin? Perhaps this is an issue to take up with Widevine?
