In Gmail, I repeatedly get "oops the system encountered a problem (#001)." Every other site works and Gmail works in other browsers. I haven't had any new add-ons or made any changes to Firefox (other than Firefox updates) in years. Does anyone know the fix?

In the last few days, a transparent rectangular panel is showing up in the upper right hand corner when I open certain websites--Washington Post, The Nation, and Talking Points Memo, and this morning Kanopy and the Zojirushi website. It often covers functions like login and search. I can *see* the buttons, but I can't click them through the transparent panel.

I was using the "new" version in Troubleshoot mode. When I finished, I went to delete my History (once I found it) and told it to delete the current History. IT DELETED ALL MY HISTORY AND I HAD PAGES I NEEDED IN THE LIST. How do I get back my History???

And using this is aggravating because Mozilla doesn't know what is wrong to Fix It!

See the screenshot, please. I'd like to hide everything besides the actual list of bookmarks in the rightmost pane (very narrow in the screenshot for privacy reason). Hence, I'd like to hide the title bar, menu area, plus the entire left pane.

Why do I want to do this? I want to use a script to automatically open this window every time I start Firefox, then set the window to float on top of Firefox, just over the bottommost area of the sidebar to allow me to view bookmarks and vertical tabs (with Sidebery) permanently at the same time.

Many thanks!

Today, Firefox on macOS, and Firefox in a Parallels VM (Windows 10) are unable to open any websites outside my local network(e.g. 192.168.1.1). Other browsers are work correctly, and even "curl" works correctly. Checked all settings, reinstalled Firefox, refreshed Firefox, re-read all Mozilla docs on this issue. Doesn't appear to be affected by Firefox setting "DNS prefetch". Mac is running Sequioa 15.0 Firefox versions: macOS 130.0.1 (64-bit), Windows 10 (within Parallels for Mac): 125.0.3 (64-bit) Firewall is set to prevent incoming connections to Firefox and Google Chrome (set by company profile).

Thanks in advance for any insight.

For the past two weeks, I have been unable to get to many usual web sites. Just now, it does not connect to my bank, although it did earlier. I cannot get my morning newspaper because it doesn't connect. My work flow is disruptive because I cannot access my usual websites in a timely manner. A few weeks ago, this never happened. What is wrong?

Is it possible to use MAC to auto-separate tabs into containers based on the _path_ of a URL? For example, with github I might want github.com/foo, github.com/bar, and github.com/baz to be associated with a different login to all my other github access (eg a work account rather than a personal one).

I know I can "reopen tab in container" but having a path auto-open in a container will prevent silly mistakes like commenting on an issue with the wrong user.

Essentially the "always open this site" option but extended to path, not just domain.

Or should I post this as an enhancement request to https://github.com/mozilla/multi-account-containers/ ?

I often use Restore Previous Session to get back all the tabs (5-15) I was using. The last two times I clicked it, Firefox immediately shut down, and then when I opened up, the 'Restore Previous Session' option was greyed out.

The first time, I was able to find the sites again on "Show All History," but the second time, it had wiped out my WHOLE history.

What's going wrong? What can I do to fix it? I know nothing about the inner workings of computers. Nothing.

I'm not entirely sure when this behavior started, but I noticed sometime after upgrading to 115 (ESR) and it happens on Windows and MacOS environments in the same general versions of the browser. Refer to the attached image for clarity, but I'd like to know where to disable/remove the "add Youtube" (and all other suggestions) from this context menu when browsing domains that act as a search platforms. I prefer stripped-down context menus. I do NOT want suggestions of any kind from browser as they are never helpful and just add clutter and interaction that I'm not using the product for.

Where are these settings located? Are they any policy modifications that will remove these suggestions failing a setting to turn them off?

My speeddial Amazon dial keeps sending me to Amazon.ca instead of Amazon.com. I have deleted the dial and entered https://www.amazon.com/ as the url but I get sent instead to Amazon.ca (Amazon Canada) I've tried setting the url using the "use open tab" but that doesn't work. I've restarted Firefox and created a new dial for Amazon but that didn't work. Help/about firefox tells me I'm using the latest version (131.0). My other speeddial dials are working correctly. I'm on Windows 10
