Hello

After updating firefox I got logged out of firefox, after logging back in no profile data is available. I lost all the saved passwords, setting, browsing history, all of it. I lost access to website's because of it. Tried copying data from 'profiles' folder but it does not work. Never had problem like this ever and I'm considering changing browser for good. It should have never happen, like wtf is this?!

Yesterday, possibly related to updating to version 148, my profile completely disappaered. My old profiles are not visible under about:profiles, but are present on disk. They can not be imported with firefox -P. How do I get my profile data back?

How do I get the full url line of where I am currently on the homepage back for the search line, or the old full browser line? Have been looking in settings and haven't located it.

About ready to leave firefox over it, and been here for years.

What changed to prevent youtube from working? It worked for as long as I have had your browser and two days ago... all of a sudden it doesn't... just freezes. I've done what you suggested... it didn't work I installed an extension yesterday and it worked yesterday... Now today... not working even with extension

I keep losing my passwords in Firefox. I attempt to save a password withe the drop down menu, after checking I see that it is save but a short time later the password is no longer there! I have all the box's checked to save passwords but again they are no longer there! Any help would be most appreciated, Thank you T Wolf

I use Firefox for desktop in Windows, and I use Firefox on Android as well. I have enabled sync and signed into both browsers.

What I want to do is sort through the 50+ tabs that are open on my Android Firefox browser by opening them in my desktop Firefox session.

I am aware that I can open them one-by-one by following this how-to:

However, this is inconvenient: I want to open them *all* in one operation. This way, I can quickly bookmark them read them, and then confidently close all of my tabs in Android. (I have ADHD and this would help me a lot).

Is there an extension or option that would allow me to do that?

Just seemingly out of the blue I started getting Firefox captive portal warnings. Most websites load normally but if it's a new site i.e. one I ahven't visited in a while I get the "you must log into this netrwork before you an access the internet" message. I am and have only and always been on my home wifi with this computer, it's a laptop but has never been out of my house. Forefox seems slow lately and I keep getting this message. Other browsers work fine by the way.

Firefox won't load google or youtube. In my gmail spam folder I keep getting emails stating "payment declined cloud storage full".

Firefox not responding. I have tried everything on the Help pages. I have tried reset of everything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch. Still: when I open it: Firefox does not respond. And everything else also is very slow then. In Windows joblist I can see Firefox with 7-15 threads. One of them "not responding". I have no problems with Chrome nor Edge - W11, 16GB Ram

Since the 148 update, copying and pasting has been completely broken in google docs, sheets, etc. I get an error every time I try to and am forced to reload the page after which nothing has even been added to the doc. I know I am not the only one with this issue. It happens across different OS'es. The recent update changed how the mute button works in Firefox, before it would replace the icon and would show text and whatnot if it was muted or wanted to autoplay; now it just always shows the mute/unmute button in a tab playing audio. This would normally be fine but it is causing my tabs to constantly be shrinking and expanding whenever the audio changes in a tab, and it's really frustrating me and it feels like an overall far worse user interface design than it was before, even if people were complaining about it. Is there some sort of middle ground where I can set a maximum tab size or something? I know this used to be a feature in about:config but it doesn't exist anymore for some reason. I've also tried using a userChrome CSS code for it that I found online; it got rid of the button but it still made the tab size change and the code I tried using for maximum tab size also didn't affect that. Really starting to frustrate me! Please give me any advice I feel like I've exhausted all my options lol

I have used Mozilla Firefox as my default browser, for years. Recently, I used a program to clean (what it said was) junk files from my computer. Unfortunately, I did not make a rescue point. After removal of the files, several of my programs, including Firefox, has no longer worked as it once did. I was always able to go into settings to select my browser, my search engine, my home page, etc. That is no longer possible. I was wondering if I should uninstall Firefox and reinstall - or is their another easier way to repair my problem?

Any help I can get is much appreciated.
