I am trying to resolve an issue with my firefox browser for MAC OS. Everytime I close my screen to sleep and open it back up, the browser stays on time out mode. I have tried downloading the update, but it never seems to complete or fully initiate. I have gone to the mozilla website and downloading directly from there but the new download wont even let me log into my gmail.com using my biometrics. any ideas?

No doubt I had something to do with the (fancy font uppercase in bold) B appearing in my Firefox header line as the first and left-most character (image attached). Anyone know the source for this and how to shut it and anything else it does off? I like many others I have read commenting about unwanted things thru the PC years that have a disdain of things that sneak through uninvited.

The other thing so far as I know had nothing to do with Mozilla or Firefox but I'll mention it in case someone has an idea. A product install by the same name permanently labeled an outboard drive with this label bold text'Roboform2Gobold text. I know how it got there, it was with the install the product by that name, which I uninstalled, and no one from that company would or couldn't tell me how to get rid of the relabeling it had done. Uninstalling the software didn't take it out, and no one in a general forum had any suggestions. I know the traditional approach of adding or changing a label, but change attempts don't affect this reminder of a poor product that I had decided not to keep. They refunded, but did not help with the changeless drive label.

Recently Firefox has been hanging up more than usual, I did a double check on all drivers, updates, and virus protection. Normally things work fine but through the day I'll get the "Gah this tab has crashed. " Or the window will freeze and hitch up, sometimes having to be completely closed with task manager. Just wondering if this is something to do with firefox as a whole, my add-ons, or something I can fix with an easy reinstall.

Running - when open to run webtrading site, I got message - This page is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser stop this page. And stop button. And the webtrading site stops anyway. Could you help Please. Thank you, Frank

This 404 Not Found message only started happening about 4 weeks ago on my Imac. I can't search anything without getting this message. Very frustrating. and I have to go to Google and have no problems Any ideas? Mozilla/Firefox Program up to date

All the theme changers do not work. Are they malfunctioning? Not updated to the current version of Firefox? The themes worked on older versions of Firefox. Can this version be corrected for Firefox? Thank you!

Using Google Voice became unusable. Firefox too slow. Had been running just fine up till maybe a month ago when I finally gave in and allowed Firefox to update. Not knowing if it was a Windows or other issue I stupidly did a Windows reset and lost all my installed programs (including Firefox). I did a fresh install of Firefox and manually reentered passwords and bookmarks.

Ran fine for a day or two and is now again unusable. Cleared cache and appears to work OK at the moment but still sluggish.

Open a video, the little circle goes around for a second or two, and starts playing (but it's not synched with the audio - the video starts playing a second or two after the audio starts playing)

Close all other apps, clear cache, restart, same problem

But I do NOT have this problem in other browsers

Do I have to quit using firefox?

When using Firefox, websites take long to open. However, when I use Chrome for the same sites they open quickly. I have cleared cache and have an updated version of Firefox. No extensions except Adobe, Trend Micro

IME toggle not working in youtube chat on Firefox, even in troubleshoot mode. It works in all other applications including Chrome browser yet I prefer using Firefox so hope issue can be solved.

Running FF115.23.1ESR on a Win7/32 box I use in network maintenance/configuration.

If I log into the modem main page and select from the side-bar menu, FF drops me back to the modem's login screen (Groundhog Day style). This behaviour is repeatable (endlessly) on:

• * another identical modem (same/latest firmware). These have repeatedly been factory reset and firmware reloaded. No change.
• * another Win7 box (/64) on same FF release.

Opera - reluctantly added on those same Win7 boxes - does not have this (mis-)behaviour.

Win10/64 running FF138.0.4 does not have this issue.

Up until about ten weeks back, the (then-current) Win7/X esr release did NOT have this problem.

Yes, I HAVE cleared cache/cookies repeatedly before sessions, to no avail. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> [EDIT:] The on-line modem/router emulator can be accessed at https://support.netcommwireless.com/e.../login.html The default un/pswd is admin/admin. Once in the main page, select "Advanced" from the left menu list. This (in the emulator) opens the Advanced page, as it should. In a normal situation here, it simply reverts to the login page.

Q1: Anyone have any experience like this, or any clues/suggestions?

Q2: To continue using these Win7 boxes in that role, am I forced to abandon FF?

Facebook's help page says their "end-to-end encryption" will only work with Edge and Chrome. Is anyone at Mozilla working on making Firefox compatible with this? I only use Firefox for Facebook messaging, since I don't trust those other browsers, or the Messenger app, which I know for a fact is a trojan. But as it is, I have an incoming message that I can't read. Thanks.

I only have two emoticons available to use: "like: blue thumbs up" and "love: red heart." There used to be several more available, but they have disappeared. How can they be reinstated?

Firefox blocks a web site citing out of date reference. I go to certificate manager to overide, but am told firefox determines site to be legitimate and therefore will not overide. I am totally frustrated and confused!
