I've been using Firefox for several months since switching over when the migration to Manifest V3 in Chrome gained momentum. Initially, Firefox worked flawlessly, but over the past couple of months I've encountered a recurring issue where downloads often fail -- sometimes right at the start and other times midway through -- especially with larger files.

I've encountered this issue across multiple machines, and changing the destination drive where the files are saved hasn't made any difference. Interestingly, the same files download without any issues in Chrome, so I've ended up relying on Chrome exclusively for downloads.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Whenever i search something on google, firefox desktop (all fine on android) is failing to display the ai(gemini) answer no matter what questions i ask.

Same happens in the "AI Mode" option that is available in google's recent update.

And, I,m logged in.

This started since a week, everything was working fine before that.

Although I have successfully logged in many times, I get an error message today: An error occurred during a connection to b2clogin.firstenergycorp.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

When File Explorer of Windows 11 25H2 tries to access and open an icon-file in the FF (144-64bit) profile's 'shortcutcache' folder, explorer gets Access Denied. The account running Firefox has admin rights.

Looking to the ACL of the profile folder containing the folder 'shortcutcache' show no reason for the blocking. Trying this with a new profile did not help.

On some sites, not nearly all of them, I can click a link and it'll spin the circle in the tab for about one or two minutes before acting like I never clicked it. If I click it again after it spins, most the time it'll load immediately. And then there's periods of time where every link I click loads immediately.

I mostly have this problem on archiveofourown.org but I've noticed it on other sites.

Mozilla Firefox 115.25.0 (x64 en-US) won’t close since my previous version was updated on 6/29/25. I have tried closing it in my Win7pro Task Manager on several occasions, and had even tried to uninstall and then reinstall it from my “Programs and Features” menu, but I keep getting a message that the program can’t be uninstalled until it is first closed. Nothing I do fixes this problem. HELP

Yahoo Mail won't open. Saved Yahoo Mail at bottom of page says "No internet connection" but work even though other apps and bookmarks open and recent Yahoo Mail saved at bottom of page opens when I click on it. Have most recent version Version 115.18.0esr 64-bit? Restarted Firefox but still won't open Yahoo mail bookmark.

When I try to load "Comments" I get this message:

Failed loading comments! Please try again...

Trying again doesn't help.

Over the past few months Firefox browser has gotten worse, I stopped using it for certain sites because things do not load properly and are fine if I use Edge or Chrome. eBay pages do not load correctly now... I get your updates, and with each update your browser gets worse. I am done using your browser. I used to use your browser exclusively, but it's not worth the time and effort to use it at all.

For several weeks now, whenever I try to log in to a google account, Firefox crashes. The crash happens on the screen where you enter your email address, before the page where you enter your password. I start to enter my email, and about 3 letters in to typing my entire browser freezes. The crash also happens in troubleshooting mode, so I know that it isn't a problem with one of my plug-ins. This isn't an urgent issue, I can get by with the gmail accounts that are already logged in, but it is really annoying.

When is Firefox (across devices) going to bring "Tab Groups" in-built in 2025 as it is difficult to ditch Chrome esp., if it is related to work or research and similar tabs are opened up?

I have to rely on chrome and edge for same and both have not only brought it but improved it considerably. Also, chrome has not brought for mobile devices so grouping of tabs is more easy and simple but when I look at Firefox and Firefox based browsers, I see nothing of that thing present. The addon esp., Simple Tab Groups (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-CA/firefox/addon/simple-tab-groups/) is unreliable (see reviews).

If Firefox want us to use their browser and as default, they should see why we are using Chrome and Edge (latter, having vertical tabs in-built, also).

I hope 2025 is a year Firefox learns of how to retain users across devices. Currently Firefox is more from 2005.

Good morning, after today's FF update - right click dropdown menus are terrible! Nothing works for me... Opening new windows, new tabs, adding to bookmarks, copying, pasting, etc... How can I turn it off because I can't use it. I need to have a menu like in version 133.0.3. If I can't change it, I will have to change the browser because I can't use it! Bookmarks dropdown menu opens up halfway down and it's not possible to scroll back up to the top and add a bookmark. At first I thought it was a mouse problem - changed mouse - problem remains.
