I have around 60 tabs open accross 5 windows, and whenever I try to open a new tab, Firefox takes many minutes to load completely. I've restarted Firefox and the problem is solved for a few days, and then it persists. I've been using Google, but I want to keep using Firefox. Fix it now please.

Initial performance is good, but over time especially when tabs are opened and closed frequently responsiveness to user input (e.g. tab switching, opening/closing tabs, response to hyperlinks) becomes very slow. After force quitting and restarting, performance is good again for some time. I exclusively use private tabs.

For those of us that do want to use AI for work performance enhancement purposes, I have a question and also a comment for the Development Team. Here is the scenario real quick. I use Mozilla Firefox as my trusted browser today and that means that I open other AI systems such as ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, etc. within this browser and could at times be running multiple browser sessions at the same time. My question is, will the Mozilla new AI Features attempt to try and compete with my other chat sessions for data capture, response and participation if I keep portions or the whole system enabled? The last thing I need is Mozilla AI as the selected browser now interfering with my other work flow processes in anyway including just listening along which would significantly increase the amount of resources used to run the Mozilla AI in parallel with other AI systems on my computer. I have heavy work loads at times and am already experiencing browser delays in processing data (even when setting up separate project chats for specific tasks) because of too many added features within all of the AI systems like historical chat session quick links on the right side of the screen. That's a ton of data that ends up getting stored/cached, referenced and processed with each command executed. I don't mind using Mozilla AI within the browser for general personal surfing and Q&A purposes but I can see this potentially becoming a big issue for us creators working with large image data processing tasks in other AI systems via the Mozilla browser. I will unfortunately be turning all of these Mozilla AI features off to start because I am not sure there really is a clear separation path for resource allocations within the browser now keeping my experience fast and efficient. Most likely this will force me into using a different browser product for personal vs business until things are much clearer. Hoping to learn a little bit here and see that things like this are being taken into consideration, even if it is a product roadmap enhancement for release sometime in the near future. 'I am running fiefox version 147.0.3 in MacOS version 26.2. Every second time I start the program firefox tries to take 15GB of memory. The process does not respond (as this is equivalent to more than the memory available plus the swap space). I have to kill the process and the second time the program has standar memory needs. How can I help developers?

So either firefox or android (probably firefox) just updated, and it's made a mess of the browser. First of all, the layout of everything has changed - the traffic light menu's at the bottom of th e screen now, completely different, there's a pull bar to see stuff that was previously readily available, the tab icons are longer for some reason but I think they're also skinnier? The hell? It's just generally worse than what it was before. I hate every part of it and want it rolled back on that basis alone, because I actually liked how it worked before, and if I want to change how my phone works I'll do it myself. Stop messing with my stuff, mozilla, I don't come into your house and start moving all your furniture around and putting your cutlery in the wrong drawers, and I'd appreciate it if you returned the courtesy.

But, as annoying - read, infuriating and unnecessary - as that is, that's not the real problem. Oh no. No, that's a personal issue, I'd either learn to live with it or I'd find a modification workaround to get my old UI back. No, the problem is that my previously smooth tab screen - you know, the one where you can see all your tabs open - now lags. Noticeably. How do you mess that up? Seriously, what did you do? It freezes when I'm scrolling up and down! How! How do you do that!

In summary, update bad for UI reasons (please stop moving things for no reason, or at least give us an option to move it back, some of us hate that Really Quite A Lot, to the point where we left chrome over it) but also for previously-nonexistent latency where there absolutely should not be any. I'm on a Fairphone 5, this isn't an ancient brick that barely runs. How do you update something to be actively less functional? Please just roll it back. And if you only take one bit of feedback from me ever, stop touching the UI. It's really annoying. Please. Just don't.

Hi, I’ve been experiencing slow startup times in Firefox, especially when I have my Time calculator web app open. The browser takes longer to load and sometimes becomes unresponsive.

I’ve tried disabling extensions and changing my home page, but the issue persists. Are there any specific settings or troubleshooting steps in Firefox that can help improve performance when using online calculators like this?

When I go to another app, and back, tabs have to reload, often loosing what was done in the page. I have set Firefox as "No restrictions" on my Xiaomi 15 Ultra (HyperOS 3, Android 16), but Firefox still seems to unload memory very frequently.

I have removed many gb of apps to try and address this issue today but can't stop Firefox from using an insane amount of memory. What's up? I've been using Firefox for years and have never had this issue until today. I'd like to keep using your browser but I can't if my computer keeps shutting down.

opening firefox why is it blank page. When I open up FireFox the page is Blanck the account tab top right dosent work nothing works no search just blank page why is that. Yesterday it was fine worked

I often keep many tabs open for research, and Firefox memory usage grows significantly over time. Are there practical settings or habits that help manage memory without sacrificing usability?

When i start fire fox it immediately opens 10 additional versions in the background which I can see in task manager and they take up a lot off memory. If i end task them they immediately come back. This only started recently. I noticed it because now when i open say a youtube video it shows it as number 4. This never happened before unless I had the same video open more than once.

If I can not stop this I will have to uninstall.
