I have used Firefox for years. Have a backup computer that has Windows 10. It defaults to Bing. I hate Bing! VERY much want to use Firefox for Windows 10. Please, if you can, just email me a link to download Firefox that will work on Windows 10. That is all that I need. My two email addresses are: [edited] OR [edited from community support forum]. I have a new PC. I have added five email accounts, three different hosts, with some difficulty. Thunderbird finds the details for others but then refuses with the message Authentication error. Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password.

I added Thunderbird by copying from my old PC. The hosts for those not yet added are the same as those added.

Please provide a clear, step-by-step troubleshooting solution specifically for Firefox for Android. Explain the possible causes of choppy YouTube playback and show me which Firefox settings to check or change, including hardware acceleration, extensions, video quality, cache, and performance settings. I can't download some pdfs, notably my bank statements. I CAN download some pdfs. Eg, I can download my car manual (although it's a process of downloading it to my Google Drive). However, trying to download my bank statements, Firefox gives me no options at all, and, indeed, I get an error message. Yet I CAN download my bank statements using Google Chrome! I've carefully checked all my Firefox settings, but nothing seems to address this problem. I've spoken to my bank, and they don't know why I can't download them either. When I try to download the statements, I get a screen saying it can't give me a 'Preview' (see attached screenshot), but there's a 'Download button. When I click that I get a white screen with the 'error' message:

I have asked about this before on this forum, but to no avail.

YouTube videos are playing choppily in Firefox. The video frequently stutters/freezes or does not play smoothly, even when the same videos work normally in another browser. I have restarted Firefox and my device, but the problem continues. I would like help identifying whether the cause is hardware acceleration, Firefox extensions, graphics drivers, or another Firefox setting, and I would appreciate step-by-step troubleshooting instructions.

Been using Thunderbird for a number of years but recently the SSD on my laptop became corrupted and I had to buy a new one and install TB and restore my profiles from a backup.

I have two accounts and switch between them with Profile Manager.

The new laptop is an ASUS Vivobook with Win 11 Home and although TB runs ok the first time, if I close the current session and try to open the other account, nothing happens when I click on TB icon on the taskbar. IF I wait for around 5 minutes then it will run

Checked in Task Manager and cant see any instances of TB running, so any thoughts on what's wrong. Does not matter which order I open the accounts.

My Mac last night lost thunderbird (and numerous others things) and it's setting itself up again. I get an error that smpt already exists and I can't go any further! What's going on? Using Comcast Mail.

Firefox on my desktop has been crashing frequently, sometimes shortly after opening it and other times while browsing normally. There doesn't seem to be one specific website or action that consistently causes the crash.

I've already tried restarting Firefox and my computer, but the problem keeps coming back.

Has anyone experienced frequent Firefox desktop crashes recently? I'd appreciate any suggestions on what I should check first, especially regarding extensions, hardware acceleration, crash reports, or corrupted profile data.

I'm happy to provide my Firefox version, Windows version, and crash report details if needed.

I was attempting to use Thunderbird Restore Tool to merge multiple Thunderbird profiles. Before I started, I copied the existing Thunderbird profile to a safe location where it has remained undisturbed. The Thunderbird Restore Tool did not produce the desired results, but that is a story for another day. I tried copying the saved profile back to C:\User\Tom Hayden\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles. I then started Thunderbird. It returned something very close to "Your profile file is inaccessible or corrupted". After some research, I edited the profiles.ini to point to the old profile file. Thunderbird would not start. I tried multiple iterations of thunderbird - p to run the profile manager. I was, eventually, able to get thunderbird to start and read the most recent e-mails from the server. However, it would not load any of the old e-mails from the old profile. I went to the profile thunderbird is currently using. Under ...\thunderbird\profile\pd785tbj.Default_User\Mail I found Local Folders-1 and pop3.airmail.net. Under pop3.airmail.net I can see the directory structure I used for my old e-mail. Everything appears to be present and in place. No matter what I do, Thunderbird will not read/load those e-mails. There is also an ImapMail directory with mail.airmail.net. Under it is a directory structure that appears to be what is actually showing up in Thunderbird. How do I restore/reload/recover/whatever the old e-mails in pop3.airmail.net? Please make your answer as explicit as possible.

I sometimes sell items on sites such as eBay. When I try to copy and paste the picture (from my Photos) is just a weird symbol. If I go to a different computer it works! If I go to a different browser it works! When I open a weather App the radar is all washed out with different colors. What's the issue?

I have used Facebook in my Firefox browser for several years. Then all of a sudden, Facebook will load, then it will not load and yesterday and today, it won't load at all. I have to go over to Chrome to get on my Facebook. Please fix whatever is preventing me from using Facebook on Firefox.

Each time I open TBird, I get a message at the bottom left of the screen telling me that TBird has deleted X number of messages. I do not want TBird to ever delete any messages. How do I turn this automatic delete function off?

Your last update included a Yahoo signup splash screen. Please remove it in the next update. It is annoying and does not serve any purpose other than ccnect me to Yahoo web mail. If I wanted to use that service, I sign in for it. I am content with using Thunderbird. Or at least give me the option of removing it myself. Thanks.
