How do I get rid of the small source code screen below my Add-on bar?
I don't know what I did to turn it on.
It happens to say
<button id="abp-notification-yes" label="¬ification.button.yes;"/>
^
I tried to re-install firefox but it came back.

Thank you!
Hope that one of these graphics will help you. I want to get the beige area at the bottom with the red type to stop displaying.

Try go to Tools >> Web Developer >> uncheck all option
The menu items in Tools/Web Developer are all unchecked. When they are checked a variety of small windows appear just above the Add-on bar. The area 'below' the add-on bar remains unaffected.
The x you see (on the left side between the "S" and the red circular icon) just turns off the Add-on bar. The beige area with the red type is unaffected. As well, the beige area is not affected with a restart and no Add-on bar.
Starting Firefox in safe mode does eliminate the beige area. However, the beige area returns when I restart in normal mode. Maybe this is a useful diagnostic indicator.

I think that the Trueblock extension was the issue. I disabled the Trueblock and was able to restart Firefox in normal mode without the appearance of the troublesome but useless field of source code.
