firefox 25.0.1 keeps randomly crashing, it never did this before the update

it still does it in safe mode, i've reset firefox, did both virus & malware scans (even being in Linux), the flash players up to date & is the only plugin installed.

$ uname -vr 3.11.0-14-generic #21-Ubuntu SMP Tue Nov 12 17:07:40 UTC 2013

It's completely random, never the same webpage. Feel like a JS script get unresponsive, then maybe a minute after everything is frozen, all windows close and Xubuntu give me a crash report window. ( That I submit every time )

I have both windows that are "normal", and some that are "private", maybe 5-10 tabs in each.

Never had this problem before.

Mean firefox did not send any crash report. Xubuntu did detect the crash, but firefox was frozen, so I guess it wasn't able to generate and send a crash report. ( maybe ? )

I note you are using a Ubuntu version of Firefox. The information in the reply above is not applicable to you.

I use ubuntu and am not sure what happens with the crash reports for the distro Firefoxes I guess they go to launchpad or something but they are not dealt with by Mozilla.

You will need to follow up your crashes with Xubuntu. For general information look at the link already mentioned

Alternatively you could consider installing a Mozilla Firefox version as an additional browser.
