How can I save my permissions manager to allow passwords for all sites? currently the default setting is to block all passwords?
I have used the support site to find the permissions section of firefox. When I access this permissions section then my default settings for all sites is to block passwords. I would like have the ability to store passwords. Therefore how do I change my default setting to allow all sites to remember passwords?

Do you mean you looked on the about:permissions page?
To enable Firefox remembering passwords, you can turn that on using the Security tab of the Options dialog. You may also want to set a master password to protect your passwords from easy viewing (easy if someone can access your computer).

The forum software detected your Firefox as version 21. Is that correct?
Version 21 is not secure; Mozilla discloses security flaws after each new release. Is something holding you back from upgrading to Firefox 24? Please let us know so we can suggest solutions or workarounds.
If Help > About Firefox shows Firefox 24.0, you may need to clear the preference that is misreporting your version number. See: How to reset the default user agent on Firefox.
Also make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode (Never Remember History).
