My main email address is with Bell South, and I have other email address like yahoo and Google. When I click on 'sign out' in the upper right corner of my Bell South home page, I get a notice from Firefox that says, "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page."

I then have to click on the 'allow' button on the right of that notice.

I don't have that notice come up at any other time when I'm going back and forth from one email address to another.

Why has this started doing this? And how do I correct this so I don't have to continually do this?

I tried your suggestions, and cannot get it to work.

See:

  • Firefox > Options/Preferences > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
