i have Firefox version 3.6 on my PC and i would like to upgrade to version 11, but setup of this version doesnt work, all i can see is 100% of extracting and nothing else happened. thank you.
I cant install any version of Firefox, setup just doesn't work. All what is done is extracting..

finally! problem solved - problem was extracting, extracted with WinRar and run unpacked setup..voilà - Firefox 11.0 is running

Take care do not use any options from Windows or Firefox that say delete personal information, that will destroy bookmarks and passwords. It may be asensible precation to back up your profile and bookmarks before proceeding any further.
Thank you John99, but 'Software Update Failed' was first article, where i've looking for help..there is no solution for my problem..
Let's try this:
Open www.getfirefox.com in Internet Explorer. click the green "Download Now" button. Instead of clicking "Run", click "save". save it to an easy to find place on your computer (I suggest Desktop). After the download, restart your computer, then double-click the file you just downloaded. Run through the whole install process. You should be all good to go after that!
Since you're upgrading Firefox, here are a few other things you can do to make sure you get the best experience possible:
Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.
Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers.
Update all your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.
Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. You can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.
thx Tylerdowner, MalwareBytes is on my PC long time, Windows is up-to-date, im BF3 player, so my graphics card driver is always updated ;), all plugins are fresh too..still nothing. I cant run whole install Firefox process since install process don't start..only extracting..i can see firefox setup.exe on task manager but after extracting is done, it disappear.. something just stop that process and i cant find what is it..
