This is easiest to do if the tutorials are designed to be downloaded. Sometimes you are allowed to watch something but not download it and save it on your computer.

Maybe you can give the address of the website and tutorial you are thinking about.

I attempted the method:- a. Click Tools – Page Info b. Click the Media Tab on the Page Info Windows c. The media tab has a complete list (with preview) of Images, CSS Files and Shockwave Flash files that were downloaded by the Firefox browser while rendering (loading) the page. d. Scroll down the list and locate the swf file. e. Click the “Save As” button. Select some directory on your hard drive and save the file (No need for a third-party plug-in) There were two swf files but both were greyed out.

You can use the following Add-on to download Youtube-like videos that are displayed using Adobe Flashplayer, as that video is

I do have FlashgotAdd-on installed which saves many video tutorials, but the “flashgot media” is greyed out when I download the Adobe TV videos so I am unable to save it. Unfortunately Video-downloadhelper does not seem to support the swf format of the Adobe TV tutorials.which are available at http://tv.adobe.com/cdn/desktop/swf/player.swf

You are correct.

The information below is out of date. The link to the Adobe Media Player page says: "Effective September 16, 2010, Adobe® Media Player software will no longer be available for download from the Adobe TV website. Effective December 15, 2010, Adobe Media Player will no longer be available for download from Adobe.com."

So, it appears that for the time being, there may be no workable offline solution. This may be the start of protected (non-downloadable) videos. I do know that Adobe is spending a large amount of money to get Adobe TV up and running, and, of course, they have every right to protect their content.

In the following article, paragraph 5, says:

• When viewed through Adobe Media Player, Adobe TV allows customers to watch programs at their convenience, save content for offline viewing, and subscribe to favorite channels to get the latest episodes as soon as they are released. Adobe Media Player can be downloaded at: http://www.adobe.com/go/mp .

So, Adobe Media Player, may be the only option.
