Hi, after updating to Firefox v 10.0 I can no longer open websites by entering the address in the addressbar. The website seems ok since it is working in explorer, what is wrong?
I enter the webaddress in the toolbar but Firefox does nothing, it just locks itself. It only opens websites when I choose one from favorites.

That issue can be caused by an extension (possibly AVG Safe Search) that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
